    The case
    Toni G.

On the rare occasion when I'm craving authentic pierogies and kielbasa, I know that I'm headed to Jubilat or its neighbor store White Eagle. The moment you enter the sights and smells enfold you and suddenly you too are for a moment Polish.

Let me start by saying I only discovered this place a week before moving out of Brooklyn and I'm quite annoyed. THIS PLACE IS UNREAL!!!! I always walk past this spot (5th ave and 17th street) but never actually walked in. It always has such long lines and closes early on the weekends. To start, it is a 100% Authentic Polish meat delicatessen and carries lots of polish meats, condiments and sweets. We tried the garlic kielbasa and the regular and wow they were tasty. I like the regular better but that's my preference, my hubs loves both. The mustard we bought was a great pairing. NOW, I saw these cute little cookies in the window and wanted to try them. They are walnut shaped shortcrust pastry cookies filled with caramel fudge! I MEANNNNNNN, they were so delicious I am craving more right now. This place has the best prices and is cash only. Bring a $20, you'll be good! I can't wait to visit this amazing place again.

a deli case filled with different types of food

Came in after having lunch with friends a few store fronts over during this pandemic. The donuts in the window and Polish sausages drew me into the establishment. Thinking I help small businesses during this crazy time in NYC, I wanted to spend some money but that all changed when I realized the lady behind the counter didn't care to serve me and gave some nasty attitude. I am guessing because I wasn't Polish nor was I white but asian. When i asked her a question about the sausages in the glass cabinet, she gave me this look of disgust and didn't want to answer me with an answer but with a snarl and mumbled something under her mask. So I sensed I wasn't welcomed so I quickly just asked for the sausage and a few donuts. I didn't leave because I was with friends and they wanted to buy some food there to bring home. I wasn't expecting racism in this nice looking store but was I wrong. Guess racism will never end when we have people like this in the neighborhood. Sucks I experienced this cause what I bought was pretty good. Hope they survive the pandemic but I will not be returning.

    Not overly salty just perfect

The best Kielbasa I have ever tasted hands down!! I been living in the area for four year and never knew this place existed till I decided to check it out. I ordered the double smoked kielbasa, got myself some pickles and sauerkraut. They also have imported spicy mustards, baked goods, and pastries. I will be returning

Standing in line to get kielbasa . Everyone is the store were speaking polish including me

I like the kielbasa and garlic sausage but sometimes it's too salty . The kielbasa in Chicago is better-sorry but it's the truth. The owners are friendly to me but I speak polish so I don't know in some reviews some people felt they were not friendly. This is a place to get groceries and take out. Cons I don't like that they don't take credit cards. Some of the sausage is too salty. Tip If you want fresh sausage come on Monday afternoon. Or Tuesday that's then they make the kielbasa .

Crowded Kielbasa line before Easter weekend!

So good and friendly staff. It gets crowded, but it's worth it. Yummy kielbasa, pastries and more.

I've been receiving Ends Meat's monthly butcher boxes from Table 22 for about 4 months now and…read morethey've definitely forced me to up my cooking game! What began as a search for easy access to high-quality meets, led to my discovery of this butcher. One of the big drawers of patronizing their business is the partnerships they have with sustainable farmers. And you can tell the quality is there. I've had some of the best cuts of meat ever from here (especially their bacon). Some of the items I've received have been: pork loins A half chicken (I wish they left the innards ) Lamb sausage Chorizo (7.5/10) Rib eyes Beef tenderloin (my favorite) Bacons (also my favorite) Spicy chili French butter Mushroom seasoning/rub Bauvette Terrine Prepackaged sausage links (my least favorite, especially the ones with cheese inside) Chicken salad Ham hock And more I would really like to continue this membership, however I'm currently ordering the Deluxe Box (the higher tier) and I'm considering downgrading or pausing because it's definitely a lot to cook over the month. I wish there was an option to select what you want in the box, even if it were the animal, as I LOVE their ground beef and most of their beef products, but don't particularly love some of the sausages and ham items. Also, I believe the membership is advertised as to having monthly recipes, notes and ideas for each of the cuts of meat, but I have yet to see those. Also, I haven't received any priority access to in-shop events or special offers as advertised. Overall, if you or someone you know loves high quality meats and cooking, this is an excellent idea for them.

My friend and I were looking around for either a lite bite or something to drink post a Yelp event…read more Unfortunately, the kitchen was just closing down around 7pm on a weekday. Not surprised because it's the dead of winter and was a ghost town in Industry City. But the butcher was still open and he ordered some kind of stack of red meat and I purchased a beer from their very extensive craft beer fridge. I think I got a little overly excited because I got something called a Bagel & Schmear from Other Half Brewery and didn't read the description of it being an IPA. I mean, a bagel beer would be special. They do have amazing sounding sandwiches (most are reasonably-ish priced around $17 although it depends on the size of the sandwich amiright?): Porchetta, Steak, Pastrami Melt, Roast Beast, Burgers. I'd definitely have to come back to try something. They also have a fun condiment section and variety of jarred foods selection on the shelves.
