I really wish this place was bigger and there was more room to walk around without bumping into people and things lol otherwise the steaks and meats are out of this world. They have the most largest variety of different cuts of steaks that I've ever seen in a Glatt kosher butcher before . The service is great. They are always helping you make the right choices for you and not to mention telling you how to cook the meat properly whether it's in the oven or on the grill or pan seared . They also season everything for you if you want, which is great so you don't have to go home and fuss with your seasonings you can just go and throw it on the grill. I get meat and fish from here occasionally because its super convenient. Usually the.meat is good. But, there's almost always an issue with the salmon. I was there last week and the salmon just looked mangled. Then yesterday my friend went in there asked specifically for a package that did not contain the tail. It seems like almost every package has a tail piece. Who knows how they have so many tails to put in the packaging. My friend was shopping for me, she's a regular there. They told her they gave her a perfect package. When I opened it, guess what??!!! There was a freaking tail piece under the 2 fillets. For $18 bucks, that was so messed up. Never again!!!! I love this butcher. I've been buying my meat with this family for almost 23 years- both at this location and on Kings Highway (Glatt Mark). I drive 1/2 hour to get there and I won't buy meat anywhere else. My cooking is fabulous because of the quality of the meats. We live off of their prepared burgers, sliders, and kabobs. My family even prefers my steaks to the ones we get when we go out. I've never concerned myself with cost because the quality is totally worth it. (Kosher meat is expensive) Leave time to look for parking. read more

Great kosher store/butcher shop. Extremely knowledgeable, polite and helpful staff. I highly recommend it for everyone. I visited the Prime Cut store yesterday. I needed some meat to roast in the oven for a dinner with our friends. I asked one of the store workers for an advice, I explained that it needs to be something not boring and that I can easily cook to perfection. He recommended to buy a "Beef club steak roast" and told me the exact cooking time and temperatures. I followed the recommendations exactly and it turned out to be probably the best meat I cocked in an oven in my life. Our guests loved it very much! read more

I heard god things about the quality of the meat, but their service is absolutely unacceptable. I ordered meat from them online for delivery to the city. I had guests and my fridge was basically empty, so I was heavily relying on them. I got my delivery the next day, only to see the bill and realize that all the prices were MUCH MORE than what I ordered. like $5 per pound more. RIDICULOUS. SO DISHONEST. So I called and asked to be reimbursed for the difference, and the guy said that the prices on the website are last months prices and the website hasn't yet been updated. He said we have to pay the full amount or else he will send a driver to come pick it up. Needless to say I told him to please pick up the meat and give a full refund, including delivery charge. I'm surprised he agreed. The least he could have done was allow for an adjustment this one time, but they lost our business for good. It's just awful, you can't advertise meat for one price and charge a much higher price once the food is already delivered! I'll never order from these dishonest people again. read more

My wife got the chicken tenders, lahmagine, kibbeh balls, chummus, etc. mini platter from work as a Purim gift. Except for my sister-in-laws chicken, Prime's chicken tenders were the best I ever tried -- so much so that I still remember how they taste. I suggest you eat them at room temperature. My wife loved the lahmagine -- she says it has great crust to meat ratio going on. Bottom line: you should definitely check this place out -- the food is fresh and delicious. read more

Prime cut has a great selection of different varieties of meat from chicken to beef to lamb all different cuts but they are spiced and seasoned heavily. They offer prepared foods and cold cuts as well. The prices are not cheap so expect to shell out, that is if you can even find parking or get through the traffic on that block! I always shop here and usually love their food. However, I purchased steak and when I went to cook it for dinner it was brown and spoiled. When I went to return it the next day, they told me that their policy was that I had to return it the same day. It's hard to return something when a store is closed. They refused to give me a refund and they were so rude about it. I will NEVER shop there again. read more
