I got a fancy garage door and the garage door company recommended Jonathan because they had worked with him before and he knew the product and could deliver a seamless install (they got no kick back from the recommendation). Jonathan was super professional, gave me a fair estimate and arrived on time. I am very glad I did choose Jonathan because there were several hiccups unrelated to the install. The manufacturer sent the wrong door causing a delay and reschedule with Jonathan. Then when the correct door arrived and was installed it turned out the wrong springs were sent and Jonathan could not tension them properly (again, another reschedule). He contacted the manufacturer directly, spoke with their team, explained the situation and then arranged for the correct springs to be sent. I don't think there was any way for him to know the springs were wrong and I fault the manufacturer. Once they arrived he completed the work and the door works as expected. The whole time he did not complain and was super easy to communicate with and work with. I will keep his name handy for any other garage door work should I need it. Thanks Jonathan! read more

We converted our carport into a garage last year and needed a custom-sized garage door with installation. After shopping around, JT Garage Doors gave us one of the most competitive quotes by far. Jonathan was prompt, stuck to the timeline he provided, coordinated smoothly with our contractor to ensure the correct opening, and completed the installation on schedule. We were very happy with the end result. Fast forward a year -- we started experiencing some alignment issues with the door. I gave Jonathan a call, and he came by the very next day to fix the problem by realigning the springs. Excellent service, even after the install! Highly recommend Jonathan and JT Garage Doors for any garage door needs -- professional, reliable, and responsive. read more

After endless phone calls and messages to the manufacturer, Wayne Dalton, their sales showrooms, and three other garage door businesses via Yelp, Jonathan from JT Garage Doors was finally able to assist us sooner than later. Wayne Dalton is a hot mess. They are so difficult to find parts for, no business wants to touch their ultra-proprietary product. Every single garage door business wanted to do a conversion from the Wayne Dalton Torquemaster mechanism. Jonathan arrived just before 5 pm, and got the job done with a reasonably priced conversion. Straightforward, timely, and a good communicator, I'll call on Jonathan if I ever need service on my garage door. read more

Jonathan was very responsive on Yelp. I put a request for garage door repair at 9pm on Saturday and JT responded in minutes. I got 4 other responses quickly but JT was more proactive and have a fixed estimate for problem he guessed. He also gave a time of 8am on a Sunday while others wanted to talk further to give appointments. He arrived at 7:55am showed me that problem was broken springs. He was done in 30 minutes. His charge came twice proposed he said as problem was different. Happy with quick response. read more

Excellent service and excellent work. Responsive, friendly, and quality work. They came right away to help us with our garage door. When we had an issue 1.5 months later on a Sunday they came out right away to correct it. Will definitely call them again. read more

Jon is really the best! His fixed my garage doors many years ago when the "spring"/coil snapped and I was trapped inside the garage. One call, and he's on his way. I didn't know what the problem is but over the phone, he asked for details and was able to diagnosed the problem and came over with a replacement. No need to wait for any orders of a new coil, no delay at all. Today, he came by when our garage door couldn't close. He did a thorough check-up of every single issue that could go wrong with garage doors, including testing the remote controls, the sensors etc. etc. He is really an expert. Very professional in his approach as well and never any extra charges. I highly recommend him for all your garage door needs. read more

He knows his stuff, and is very efficient. Very happy with his services and highly recommend.

We bought a new garage door opener from the local hardware store to replace the old one. Jonathan responded promptly on a Sunday afternoon with the best installation price and stopped by the next morning. He quickly finished the installation in half an hour, the work is so impressive and beautifully done. He even helped us tighten the screws on the garage door, programmed the remotes, and cleaned up the trash. Everything turns out well. We are very happy. Highly recommend Jonathan for any garage door work! He will be my go-to expert for sure in the future. Thank you so much, Jonathan! read more

Our garage door coil snapped Friday late afternoon and needed replacement soon. Jonathan responded fast and replaced the coil early morning on Saturday. Jonathan did an excellent job replacing the coil, we had some followup to adjust and he was very receptive to our calls and usually came out within 2-3 hours from contacting. We will use and recommend JT Garage Doors for any garage door work needed. read more

Just an update to say we used JT again recently when we suddenly found our garage door unable to open at all. After trying a few basic things myself and not finding the problem, I gave JT a call. First of all, I was super impressed when he was able to ask me just 2 questions over the phone and based on just those two answers he diagnosed the problem - a broken door spring that I hadn't even considered or noticed! But after he said it sounded like a broken spring and told me where to look - yup, it was absolutely (clearly) broken! Nice job to diagnose that over the phone in less than a minute. He was all booked up for the day but when he heard both of our cars were trapped in the garage, he very kindly offered to come late after his day was supposed to end to repair it. So he showed up at like 6:30p and was obviously tired from a long day, but we SO MUCH appreciated him going out of his way to help us. He replaced the spring very quickly and got our door opening again. Thanks Jon! And did so at a very fair price (again). Quality work at a fair price by a person who goes above and beyond with his service. Can't get any better than that. read more

Jhon replaced a broken belt on my very old original garage door opener. He gave me a few options and costs with pros/cons to make an informed decision (replace the garage door opener, replace the belt). He wasn't pushy about trying to upsell me to replacing the garage door opener. Jhon was very responsive and provided a competitive estimate. read more

Jonathan was quick to respond and worked within our schedule. Job itself was performed as quoted, timely and neat.

Very prompt response. Came the same day that we had issues with the garage door. We paid way more for another person previously to fix the garage door and he was able to diagnose and fix the issue much faster and cheaper. He also fix the other repair man's mistakes. We will be using him for all of our garage door needs in the future! read more

Jonathan just replaced my 13 year old garage and garage opener. He was very fast, efficient and offers services of great value. He was very good with communication during the quote process and the day of installation - ample heads up and communicated and executed on the agreed plan with no issue. Originally, I was going to reuse my old opener but last minute I decided to replace my opener after reading they last anywhere from 10-15 yrs. I didn't want to deal with more repairs so decided last min to also replace the opener. Luckily, Jonathan had two openers with him and I decided to go with the Liftmaster 8500w. It's quiet, fast and has all the smart features a smart home would need - even a key pad. Thanks Jonathan! read more

Jonathan was very efficient in every respect. He was very responsive with yelp messaging, came early next morning after request, and also diagnosed and fixed our garage door quickly. Was very straightforward and pleasant. Would highly recommend for any garage issues! read more

Updates: Day after I informed him I'll go find someone else to replace the glass, he called and texted back that he meant he will finish the job. The next Tuesday, he arrived but found out the glass was the wrong size so he said he will come back the next day to finish it. Today, he came back and finished the job. He was apologetic and gave me a discount on the job due to the delay. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he did have an emergency and had to return to Mexico and that he has another appointment (court appt) that he had to miss our appointment. With that in mind, he did a good job repairing the spring and the glass and while he was here, he was quick to finish the job. Because of the 3 weeks delay, I can't give him a 5 stars and thus, I upgrade him to a 4 stars. One thing to point out, English is not JT first language so if there are any coordination on the project, I'd document it and make sure both understand precisely what needs to be done and when. read more

My favorite thing was that Jonathan was super quick. Quick to respond, quick to give a quote, and quick to do that actual repairs. As soon I sent out a yelp blast to get a quote on a garage door repair, he was at my address for a FREE quote in less than 30 mins. His prices were significantly cheaper than other competitors and was the only one not trying to sell me an entire new garage door/ panel. He did great work and would highly recommend. He ensured a 1 year warranty on labor and 3 year warranty on parts, ensuring confidence that this would uphold for years to come. If anything goes wrong in the future, I'm definitely calling him first. Not an issue, but only accepts cash/check for others that are curious. read more

Really good service; fast; cost competitive and professional. Definitely recommended.

When the power went out for 2 days, I had to get the car out of the garage so pulled the lever and all was good. Didn't mind the manual lift of the door, but when the power came back on, I could not get the door to reconnect to the drive chain. I reached out to several garage door repair companies on Yelp and most replied. JT Garage Doors replied first and gave me a quote, so I hired Jonathan. He arrived on time and immediately found the problem and reconnected the door. He also taught me what to do should the problem reoccur and put lube on the springs. Jonathan charged me a small amount for the service he provided but I gave him more as thanks and to help with the gas for his work truck. I recommend JT Garage Doors! read more
