We booked this place on the way from dinner and they were more than happy to accommodate us. Upon walking in, I noticed the front area was large. It gave off zen vibes (rightfully so), but def. helps get you in the mood for the service you're going to receive. We were immediately greeted by a woman at the front desk and after confirming our reservation, she instructed us where to go. I had to use the restroom before our massage and I was shocked at how clean it was! We got the 1.5 hour massage, so needless to say we were going to be here awhile. We were instructed to undress and get under the covers. Once complete, they entered the room. I was a little surprised there was no introduction of who they were and what massage we'd be getting. Oh well. They both start the massages and at first it was good. I noticed the masseuse my friend had was way more talkative to him than the one I had. To be frank, the only conversation that occurred was her asking me if I wanted it medium or hard. I selected the latter and that concluded the conversation for the duration of my massage. The massage itself was nice, although some parts were better than others. I was quite pleased at how she massaged every nook and cranny from head to toe! I woke up feeling sore but refreshed. I have bad shoulder and neck pain, those other massage places I have tried over the years can't compare to this one. Their technique is so much better than the other American massagers. I'm so glad I found this one!! It is clean and they open all year round, 7 days a week. They do ask you to pay front, which is understandable, you could sign off your tip later. The place is comfortable and quiet. But I wish they'd asked me what level of pressure I was comfortable with. The male therapist assigned to me didn't speak English and was extremely rough. From head to toe, this hurt. Nothing about this was relaxing. It was very painful. When I said something, the owner asked him to be softer. But it was pretty rough. I wanted to cry. I'm not only still in pain (a day later) but my ears are actually injured. He pulled on them so hard that he tore the tissue and they are cracked and bloody. These are actual injuries! Unacceptable. Highly satisfied with that experience, I went to the physical location on my own and have now been here about 3 times and have had experiences with 3 massage therapists. The latest massage was with Donna. I came in with intense lower back pain, possibly sciatic. Donna listened to my concerns and we were able pivot from doing a full body massage to focusing on that specific area. My back felt so much better after the massage. All three of the ladies were great and knowledgeable. I look forward to returning.
