Terrible! Worst service ever! This guy (Bryan) was unable to troubleshoot the issue with my gas furnace during the first visit, indicating his professionalism level. He just cleaned the condensate drain trap, telling me this would fix the issue. If it doesn't, he has assured me that he will return and try his best to address the problem. Of course, this fix didn't resolve anything at all, and now I've been trying to contact him for almost three weeks and have had no response: texts are ignored, and calls go to voicemail. It is freezing outside, and this contractor doesn't care about his clients. This Bryan is absolutely unreliable and unprofessional. Customers, beware and never do business with this type of person. P.S. He is also known as ULIBAS AIR CONDITIONING read more

JS Heating & Air Conditioning - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me

The worst service I have so far. It was referred by AHS warranty. I made an appointment on Tuesday morning but the technician didn't show up. I called them more than 5 times and left messages, but no one answered or replied. The next day I received a message from AHS saying that they re-assigned me a new contractor! Again, I still didn't received any messages from JS air-conditioning! Not responsive or reliable at all. read more

Paid a lot of money to have a new unit installed and then it's worse then our old system. Shit our old system didn't work right but at least it got cold. Then they said this is better and it's actually crappier. Now apparently we need more stuff replaced! Why do these idiots fuck hard working paying customers over all hvac techs are pieces of shits. They should mention what needs replacement before installing certain parts it's annoying no wonder people can't stand these idiots all hvac suck read more

TLDR Read the 1 star reviews and its a pattern !!! They will not respond to your calls or texts. They're the WORST !!! JS Heating and air conditioning was contracted by my Home warranty company (American Home Shield) to replace my furnace. They did so in March of this year but I didn't have to use the furnace till November. When I switched the furnace on it would randomly switch off every 5 minutes. I tried calling them dozens of times and they didn't pick up my calls or respond to my texts. I contacted my Home warranty again and they finally sent out a tech from a different company and turns out they installed the fuel pipes incorrectly which is causing my furnace to overheat. The fuel pipe isn't a covered item and now I'm on the hook to pay for this. Please stay away from this company. They do not respond AT ALL and even the work done isn't professional. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS. read more

Bryan came out the same day and identified our issue immediately. He had the part with him and replaced it within 10 minutes. Highly recommend JS HVAC! read more

This was the second time this company has visited my home. It an excellent service call. The serviceman, Brian, was courteous, efficient , and knowledgeable. He explained every step of his HVAC tuneup before and after. He went over and beyond what he was assigned to do and was careful of my property and the needs of the service. I would highly recommend this company read more

Twice in a row, they were a no-show. The first time, they said the appointment was deleted by accident, I gave them the benefit of the doubt even though they seemed flaky (lack of communication). The 2nd time, Brian guaranteed me they will come, I have text and email confirmation; I called and left multiple voicemails 2 days before the appointment to confirm again, no reply. They were sent out by American Home Shield. Often time, companies don't get to charge as much when they deal with insurance companies, that's probably why you see the pattern of bad reviews; that being said, whatever bad deal you had with the insurance company, you're making the customer pay for it in the end. Brian, you've given me your personal insurance that you were going to come out, and yet bailed again. So for wasting my time and trust, I hope your business fails because your word is worthless. read more

Was assigned this contractor by AHS to fix a leaking AC. The contractor never reached out to schedule the appointment and calling them always goes to voicemail without any response. AHS eventually re-assigned a different company after a week of waiting. read more

This company was assigned via my home warranty company. My entire HVAC system had to be replaced. Chris was the tech that took care of the whole job. He was timely, efficient and clean. It's never fun when your AC dies mid summer. Thankfully this was handled with expertise and I now have a wonderful cool new system. Chris goes above and beyond in service and is polite and professional. read more

My home warranty has assigned JS Heating and Air Conditioning for a service. This was done on 06/08 that is 17 days ago. I have made several calls all of which went to voice message. I left voice messages with details all times. and no reply. This is highly unprofessional. How can you rely on a provider who will not even return calls? read more

Chris the technician showed up on time and was very friendly. He wore a mask the whole time which was nice and assuring. Any concerns I have with my air-conditioning I know I will be calling J.S. heating and air conditioning. They saved us a lot of stress because today is going to be over 100°. read more

I was given these guys by American Home Shield to handle my duct problem at home. The first time they came they knocked on the door and left when we didn't hear them. We had construction being done. They could have called us on the telephone and said I'm at the door...but they didn't. They could have gone to the back of the house and seen that the workers and we were there; but they didn't. They just left their card. Then they rescheduled and never showed up. We called and was told the tech cut his finger on the job and went to the hospital...but no one called me. Then they rescheduled for another morning and the owner said that he personally would be at our home between 8:00-10:00 a.m. He never showed up. When we called - that story was that they made a mistake and scheduled us for that afternoon. And they were irritated that we were very upset. They are unreliable and unprofessional. When you can't arrive on time, you call the customer right away. Then you don't have to apologize 3 times. I would definitely not recommend them to anyone. read more

How do you give a zero stars? Same old story that home warranty contracted with them. Have you noticed a trend here? Home warranty contracts with the crappiest companies out there who provide poor service every single time. Tech came out to check out the system. Said there was something wrong with our board, would speak to the manager to send someone back out because he didn't know how to fix it. Of course we received no response back from them. I called the company and they never returned my messages. Can they suck even more? Probably not. RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN if home warranty recommends this company. read more

Recently had JS Heating & Air conditioning install a brand new A/C in the new home. I'm in real estate and I deal with a lot of home specialist all the time. Must I say this company takes pride in what they do and an absolute pleasure to work with. Bryan and his crew also follows up on their own to make sure everything's in order after the install. Highly professional, knowledgeable, attention to detail and punctual. Definitely going with Bryan and crew for all further heating and A/C needs. THANKS AGAIN! read more

STOP!!! Please read all the one stars and you will learn something. Experience below: American shield referred company: J.S heating and air conditioning: Chris comes out first time and says nothing wrong with heater. We come home still cold air. No response! Call back and had to get a week appointment. Chris comes out again and says get a new unit $2500. Interesting dynamic how the first visit it was fixed second visit get a new unit. Not buying that bullshit answer. Solution: called American shield to send a better service. They granted it. Eco systems and air comes out. Carlos comes out and fixes issue in 10 mins. It was a loose wire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It took a month to fix the heater cause of the bullshit!!!! Thank you read more

This company was assigned via AHS home warranty company. This would have been the 4th Vendor out to this property to make repairs to the heating system. On Mon, February 03, 2020, I called Brian from J.S. Heating to request the invoice on the finding with the technician for today's service. Tue, February 04, 2020, and I called J.S. Heating spoke with Brian and he said that the Zone Control Panel needs to be replaced and they have notified the home warranty. Brian said they don't install the Zone Control Panelboard because they are NOT trained on this part. Tue, February 04, 2020, I called J.S. Heating spoke with Brian and he will be emailing me the invoice showing his findings. Still no invoice read more

A/C unit and display stopped working. Contactedmy home insurance conpany and they forwarded me to JS heating and air conditioning. Within 24 hours I got a call and set up an appointment that was convenient for me and my time. Low and behold the day of the appointment I get a text saying my technician is on the way and will arrive in 15min. Gary shows up, diagnosis the problem, slaps a brand new digital thermostat on the wall and I am good to go. Respectful and polite guy was a pleasure talking to him. Would definitely choose JSAC again... :))) read more

I originally gave them 1 star but upgraded it to 4 now that I understood it was an issue with their system

This is the most unreliable, incompetent and dishonest company that I have ever dealt with. They took over 6 months trying to fix my ac unit when they were really just trying to milk the warranty company the whole time. They knew from the first visit that there was a refrigerant leak but refused to do a leak test each visit saying that they were fixing it. After many many many visits they claimed that the condenser was leaking and finally ordered one from the warranty company. Then after the fact (probably because it's required by warranty) they administered a leak test. When they came to install the condenser they saw that the leak test showed the leak was in the evaporator instead but since they already ordered the condenser and had me on the line for the thousands of dollars in work, kept insisting that the condenser was leaking too. When I asked for them to show me the leak from the leak test, they said no it was too small for leak test to show but they could hear it. So I ask for them to let me hear it but they said it was too little for me to hear it and to trust them and just pay the thousands in addition to the new evaporator costs. I called another company to come check both units before they did anything and was told only the evaporator was leaking. It was fixed within a week. I spent countless hours over the 6 months and had so many arguments with them over something so simple that could have been fixed in less than a week. They were also EXTREMELY unresponsive to calls. They would only answer if the warranty company called them, so I spent hours on the phone calling them through the warranty company. Over the 6 months, I think I received 1 callback out of countless countless calls and from promises that they would get back to me. If it was just incompetent that is one thing, but they were definitely dishonest and just trying to cheat me and the warranty company out of money. read more

We reported the AC problem to America Home Shield on 07/11, and AHS dispatched JS to fix the problem. About 10 days after the initial visit, I called AHS and was told JS still had not reported the diagnosis, while my tenant was waiting for their next visit under near 100 degree temperature. After a long wait they finally came on 08/11, 4 weeks after the 1st call. During that time period, I called JS many times but they never answered. Since I was remote, I confirmed with them it was for the entire AC unit. They charged me $2500 after AHS covered the condenser. But when I visited the property last week, I found it was ONLY the condenser that was replaced. The $2500 according to AHS was for the labor to modify the pipe and wire connecting to it. This is a complete rip-off! In addition, they took the $100 check from my tenant for the AHS contract service fee, but they never reported it to AHS. AHS then put a past due notice on my account and froze my account. I wasn't able to put another online work order due to that till now. read more

Got a great service from the company with my central air system. The service was timely, competent, clean and courteous. The phone communication was very good in scheduling, call shortly before the visit, when second visit needed to move a little bit - a timely call and pretty narrow time window on when the technician would show up. First visit was from Brian - he has replaced our thermostat, identified another problem, ordered the part. Next visit was from Gary, who replaced it and made sure that system works to the spec. I am very satisfied. Highly recommend. read more

Our furnace broke and our home warranty issued our claim to JS heating and AC. I'm so glad we were assigned to JS. We have had three extremely positive experiences with JS. The first time we were getting quotes on moving two A/C units for some concrete patio work. Most HVAC companies quotes were sky high, or would only quote on a time and material basis or insisted on charging us separately for disconnection and moving the units. We were shocked to find that moving the A/C units was coming to a third of the cost of the construction work. JS was the only company to give us a reasonable fixed price quote for disconnection. I think I spoke with Bryan. He was very friendly and down to earth, and willing to throw in the moving of the units for free. We did not take them up on their offer because we ended up skipping the patio project. The second time we had Chris come in for an inspection, the first in many years. He looked at the units and told us that they were in pretty good shape, had plenty of freon, and that all that was needed was for the coils to be cleaned. He didn't try to up-sell us on any services. Chris warned us that the freon used in our system would be discontinued in 2020 and asked us to keep them in mind if we ever decided to install a new system. Chris was kind enough to waive the inspection fee, which is not typical for HVAC companies. The third time Chris stopped by to clean the unit. He was kind enough to leave extra detergent in a spray bottle. He gave us such a big discount on the usual fee for cleaning to the point where I almost felt I was taking advantage of him especially since this was his second visit. I protested that I was happy to pay the full fee, but he said that his boss insisted on giving us the discount. Right now JS is at the top of our list to call for any HVAC work. read more

I was referred to JS by my home warranty company when my furnace stopped working. As warranty companies try to get by on the cheap, I was worried. No need to worry though. An appointment was made for the next business day and the technician, Gary, was right on time. Needed part came in two days (faster than anticipated), and Gary called me to ask if I was available so he could install the part right then. A few words about Gary. He was extremely professional, clean uniform, on time, well spoken, and very polite. He took time time explain the problem too. Gary gets five stars too. read more

3rd time using JS. There was a scheduling mixup with our appointment, and to make up for it, Brian helped diagnose the fix to our furnace issue (I had forgotten to turn the furnace switch on) over the phone. Although not the standard operating model, I highly appreciate the fact that he was able to make up for the scheduling mistake by troubleshooting & fixing our issue over the phone, and complimentary (no fee). We will continue using and recommending JS Heating & AC's services. Thank you! read more

Surviving a heat wave while 8 months pregnant isn't easy... unfortunately, our AC decided to stop working just when I needed it most! I called four different companies without any luck - rude representatives on the phone and they were booked until next week. Luckily, I found JS on Yelp and was able to make an appointment for the very next day. Brian, the owner, was nice and courteous on the phone and quickly sent a text message to confirm the appointment. Chris showed up on time and was able to identify the problem and fix everything in 10 minutes! 15 minutes after he arrived, the house was nice and cool. He was friendly and such a sweetheart. Make sure to ask for him! Can't thank these guys enough! I've already recommended them to three friends in the last hour. read more

I was referred to JS Heating by my home warranty. Fernando was my technician and arrived on time (even called me when he was en route) He was very thorough and thought he had found the issue. He needed to order the part but bypassed the old part so that the furnace would work. It wound up taking a couple more visits but ultimately the problem was resolved. Fernando was extremely nice and very thorough in his diagnosis and explained what he was doing. Unfortunately it was a difficult problem to diagnose and did require 3 visits to get it corrected. I would have given them 5 stars but the follow up from the office to reschedule is a 1 star. I had to initiate all reschedules for the subsequent visits, no one followed up as they said they would. The technician, Fernando gets 5 stars though for his professionalism and customer service! read more
