To those living in Woodstock and the surrounding towns, I want to share my experiences with a local…read moreelectrician business. We have lived in Woodstock, CT for approximately 9 years now. During this time, we have relied on Chaput Electric LLC which is owned and operated by Bill Chaput for multiple jobs. This past week, Bill's team came to our property to install 65' of underground wiring for an exterior project necessitating electrical service. Two team members named Adam and Tim called me the morning of our scheduled appointment confirming they were slightly ahead of schedule asking if it was okay to arrive early (that was welcomed news). Upon arrival, these two gentlemen were extremely polite and very professional. They worked efficiently completing all the necessary services within the prescribed timeframe. Once completed, Adam asked me to come out so he could show me what was completed and walk me through all of their work. I have had the pleasure of speaking with Bill multiple times now, and each time he has been wonderful to work with. I do a lot of research and know just enough about a project to be dangerous. Hahahaha. With that said, Bill always goes into great detail answering my questions and sharing his professional knowledge. I've worked with A LOT of service professionals in my life, and what often separates them is their level of responsiveness. I have always been pleasantly surprised at how quick Bill responds to questions. So, I will reiterate again that he and his team are consummate professionals. Should you need any electrical services conducted, we would HIGHLY recommend giving Bill and his team a call!

My expectations for furnace repairs is always a little high and I was a bit worried about how much an emergency response repair would be. I was pleasantly surprised by the price, it was quite reasonable. Lovely service overall, definitely will use these guys again!

This past summer, we noticed a very bad smell in the house when the AC was running. We hadn't had our annual cleaning yet. We called them to see if we could book that, but once we describe the smell, they came out right away as they suspected the smell was mold. And, they were correct. We ended up having to replace our entire system; it was 15 years old. It was a very hot week and it was going to take several days before they could get the new system in and install it. They offered to loan us a wall unit while we waited for installation, but our windows couldn't support the weight. So what did they do? They went out and bought a portable floor unit just to lend to us! I was beyond touched that they were willing to do this for us. That was way above and beyond. They definitely earned a customer for life in us. Highly recommend!
