Found issue and advised me immediately. Very responsive and communicates well to homeowner that may not have a lot of electrical knowledge.

After dealing with 2+ weeks total in the last year or so without power due to hurricanes and…read moreblizzards, we knew it was time to get a generator. After shopping around a bit and getting quotes and meeting with contractors, we settled on Cox Electric. The owner met with us to go over our needs, going over options and cost, etc. Soon after that, the installation began and they did a great job. Professional, courteous, prompt. Thanks Cox Electric - I have peace of mind now!

I had them come in May to look at my outdoor generator to assess it and repair it. The generator…read morecame with the house when we bought it. The technician came to assess it while I was at work, which was understood. Afterwards I got an email with a bill for $250, which is the cost for them to come out and it included "an hour of labor". I didn't get a call from anyone explaining what was found during the appointment or any written report detailing what was found. I had to call to get information. The women on the phone briefly read off some notes stating that the generator was old and one of the parts to repair it was no longer available. I was then offered information on purchasing a new generator. I asked that she double check if the part to fix my current one was available. They called me a few days later and said that the part was not available and offered again to help me purchase a new generator. I then asked them to please provide me with a written detailed assessment of my generator. She said sure and she would get that to me. I have still not received what I asked for. Last week someone called me about the outstanding invoice. I explained that I have no problem paying the $250 once they give me the written detailed assessment from the service appointment in May. The guy said, "oh yeah I see a note requesting that in the system, I'll get that to you". As of today, still nothing. I don't think I am asking for anything out of the ordinary and it's the least they could do for $250. They also do not provide you with anyway to request this in writing, there is no email address for the company.
