Leaving this here so someone else doesn't end up in this really unfortunate situation.

I had been the victim of a bait & switch mover and was forced to pay much much more than their not to exceed estimate. I was not allowed to talk to the owner. Horrible experience. No ghost owner, Seth is with you the entire move and working hard along with his crew. He even reminds them about proper body mechanics to keep them safe. Moving is never fun but Seth and his guys make it as nice as can be. I am going moving back to the Dallas area and hope Seth will be able to make my move for me. You can trust him and belongings were handled with care. Seth is always there to make sure all is well with your move and keeping his crew safe too.

Seth and his crew have helped us out three times. The first time they helped me haul some heavy…read morefurniture to my storage unit when we were putting our house on the market. While at the storage unit, they then also helped me repack half of it so I could get more in. The second time, I hired them again for their storage unit repacking skills for a second storage unit, where they saved me half the space! The third time they helped us move the big stuff when we finally sold our house and moved. The things that are nice about Seth and his crew are: They really know their business. They're reasonable in price and they work not only hard, but efficiently. They're pleasant, courteous, respectful, professional and at the same time, they are easy going. The guys get along and work very well together. They saved me from having to rent another storage unit thanks to their masterful storage unit packing skills. Items I thought might be an issue for them weren't. I kept waiting for a "but" or hesitation for one thing or scenario or another and there wasn't one. Not even for the rock wall in front of my old house, which other people had complained about. They didn't care if I worked right along side them. Whether you can afford them for an entire move or not doesn't matter, the level of professionalism and service is as high. They totally get budget concerns and will work within your budget. They work hourly, so set the hours and they will work within that. Seth is a straight shooter and doesn't mind questions, even repeated ones. Didn't matter how tired or stressed we were, these guys got it, didn't bat an eye and basically did all they could to make everything easier. For which I thank them greatly. :) All in all, each experience was very positive. I heartily recommend this company for your moving or storage unit repacking needs.

I am a Professional Organizer and I have been involved in a many moves in my 13 years in business…read more My client chose Brick by Brick Moving as recommended by a friend. The owner, Tim Toomey, came out and assessed her move which was complicated, to say the least (a rent home and 3 storage units while her new home was being built in a country club area. We have been in an extreme drought for months - and then torrential rains started about 10 days before the move, with flooding the day before the move. We went forward with this 2 days of moving. These guys took such incredible care by securing each and every item in a way that nothing ever got the least bit of moisture on it. They used a system with 3 guys outside in the rain, 2 guys inside unloading in sock feet as to not track mud inside the owner's home. Despite the home not being 100% complete and there being other contractors all over the home and the movers having to dance all around them, they were cheerful throughout the whole experience. They interacted with my team of Organizers with so much respect. And what's more, he stuck to his original bid; he was spot on with his estimate of expected number of boxes and supplies for the job (where clients have paid 3 times more with other movers). I would highly recommend Brick by Brick Moving in the future.

Tim (owner) promptly gave me a quote and was willing to work with me on the price since I was on a budget that my new company gave me. The communication with him the day before the move was great. He kept me updated on his status and he even drove up to Dallas late Thursday night to move me out of my place at 7am sharp. I was already SO impressed by his willingness to go ABOVE & BEYOND by driving in the night before. Once I arrived in Austin an hour or so after Tim, Tim was right around the corner to unload my belongings. They had extra boxes and supplies on hand for things I couldn't pack up myself. They were fast, comedic, and just overall GOOD men. I will use Brick by Brick again because I know they won't overcharge me and the service is A+. Thank you, Tim for making my move to Austin the easiest process! -Connie
