Walt's is a pretty big hobby shop, with a wide variety of stuff, including RC cars and planes,…read moreplastic models, model rockets, and lots of random supplies for making cool stuff, including paints, balsa, dowels, glues, etc. And as big as it is, there's an even bigger space out back with an RC car track, a crawler track, and even an extra meeting room. That's where Walt's really shines -- long after the posted hours, they open the space to all sorts of local hobby groups. I've been there with a rocket club in the back room, RC cars going on the track, and yet another group up front, meeting in the actual hobby shop part. The staff is super-friendly, and willing to help out and offer suggestions for whatever kind of project you want to take on. If you need hobby stuff, this is a great place to go in the Syracuse area.

Upon going into Michael's and selecting our fabric, we then had to go into the framing department ring a bell, and a tall gray-haired man came out, acted like we were a complete inconvenience. He asked how much do you want. He was rude. So my mother stood there, figuring in her head. How many yards and inches she needed of this February? And he stood there and had the nerve to say to her, well.Now you're just splitting hairs.How much do you need. Then, they take the fabric in the back. Cut it and tell you to go find something to do. We wandered the store.Went back to the picture frame.Encounter, and here's fabric folded sitting there with a piece of paper. I have news for you, michaels, if you're going to have fabric get a cutting counter because these people that are doing these intricate crafts, want to watch you cut the fabric. Train your employees on customer service.How to cut fabric and how to understand the quilting mind?There's a lot of meth that goes into it.You don't rush them, you don't treat them like garbage.If you are not going to treat people correctly, why would you add joanne's to your store? The place was jam packed with goodies, though there were bins on the floor making looking a little difficult. Pricing seemed fair. Our only real gripe was that it took three attempts to actually get in the store because each time we came there was a sign about "out to lunch at seemingly random times. Being that we drove from another city, this was a little frustrating. We will definitely check this place out again when we are in the area.

Now I've been to maybe a dozen tracks, but none compare to this place! There are dirt tracks with mud and water for that true off road experience, regular drift tracks, mini rc tracks, and they are expanding. The service area is extensive, and they have pretty much anything you'd need. I also loved the fact that they do repairs at a reasonable rate. The value of this place can't be beat, at $10 to drift as long as you want, it's the lowest I've encountered. The selection of tracks and experiences can't be beat, and we had a really good time the three hours we spent there!

Underground rc is llocated in a huge mall so if you bring someone with you who doesn't rc there will be plenty for them to do. But back to Underground rc. What an awesome place. They have every kind of rc track you would want. Off roar ,miniz-z, dirt oval and they even have an rc drift track for guys like me who slide. I went on a Wednesday afternoon so it wasn't busy at all. The only charge 10 dollars for all day to drift so it's a great price. They also have a full hobby shop on-site they do everyhing rc good time great place. Only complaint I have is the track was really dusty but beside that it's a 5star place.

I didn't want her to get in trouble. She gave a dirty look, looked at another customer, and asked me in a rude tone if I'm not getting my items.
