Just wanted to provide a thorough review so I will have to break this down a bit for people. The common advice I have received from friends and family has always been that, "If you ever need to file an insurance claim you need to get a public adjustor otherwise your insurance company will do whatever it takes to minimize what you are owed." This is then followed by hope that you will never get into a situation where you will need to use that advice. Unfortunately, after my parent's home was damaged by smoke, my family quickly learned why that advice is so necessary. Without Jae and Virginia's assistance this process (which was quickly growing to become an absolute nightmare) would have been impossible. Getting my parent's home repaired required an exhaustive amount of effort in the form of recording the damages, ensuring the language used to describe the damages was adequate, organizing and disputing damage assessments by random 3rd parties hired by the insurance company, etc etc etc. The list of things needed to be done and the number of phone calls required to get my family's home repaired was astonishing. Without this company's expertise, advice, and continuous support and work on their end we would have never been able to finally get this done. Their value as a service is incalculable. I cannot emphasize this enough. Trust that JPA adjustors will set things right with you when your insurance company won't. Also don't wait. Don't even try to start things with your insurance company first. Go straight to these guys first if something ever happens. Even if you haven't gone to them first you will be better off the faster you start working with them otherwise your insurance company will do EVERYTHING in their power to make your life miserable, stall the process out indefinitely, and fight tooth and nail before giving you a single penny. read more

We had a pipe burst in kitchen on February 29th. A leap day we will never forget... Unfortunately, during this time my father in law was very ill and hospitalized for 10 days at that point so all I could think about was how I was going to get through this without help. My home suffered a smoke damage last year. It happened during the Labor Day weekend and I couldn't reach my insurance agent. I had to make the claim call to my insurance company directly. We had a claim that was pending for 8 months, insurance was giving us the runaround and pinning us between HOA and our own insurance. We were left living outside of our home in a rental for 4 months. Then we found JPA. Ernesto came to gather information, pictures, and got to work, it might have taken an extra 3 months but he got the job done, he got our claim through and couldn't be more thankful. He definitely kicked my insurance's behind to get us our claim and back in our home. I called JPA to inquire about their fees and the issues I am having with the insurance adjuster . I didn't know of public adjuster until the water mitigation contractor mentioned to me to check it out. I spoke to Vincent G. who was very patient and helpful. He explained to me some useful information although I did not signed up he mentioned to contact him when I get the insurance estimate . He said he will review it and go over with me. True enough I called and Vincent went above and beyond . He offered to swing by and check the item one by one to see if the adjuster miss anything. He brought complete tools to check for dryness as well. Vincent found and pointed out a few items I could ask insurance adjuster to take another look and possibly get an adjustment! I am very impressed with the gracious attitude of spending time to do all that for nothing. I really appreciate Vincent and JPA. I hope it does not happen to anyone but after this experience, it would be a good idea to contact JPA even before contacting the insurance company because then they could take care of everything from beginning to end. I would like to commend JPA Adjusters for a job well done in assisting us during our time of need. In April of 2023, we had an unexpected water leak in the kitchen. Our insurance failed to send an adjuster, but instead trusted the restoration company they were contracted to asses the damage. In short we were short funded based on the assessment of JPA. I had a very bad experience with a contractor about claiming home insurance. This contractor did not have a public adjuster license, he charged a 15 percent charge whatever insurance paid to waive a fee; I found this was a lie. He was not a faithful person in the end. A friend recommended Jae Park as a licensed public adjuster whom I consulted. He was so knowledgeable, kind, and patient to hear all my problems while kindly suggesting what to do for the next step.
