We were referred to Excel Adjusters when we were not going anywhere with our insurance company with our water damage.  We were skeptical about using a public adjuster, especially knowing there would be a fee, but it's totally worth it.  Excel adjusters sent someone to our home and did an estimate.  The next day, we had a meeting with Mr. Park, he explained the process to us, and answered all the questions we had.  We signed the agreement and they took care of everything for us from that point on.  Our point of contact was Mr. Park's assistant, Sarah, she was very helpful, and gave us a lot of advice. She always answered our questions promptly and called us almost every day to update us.  In the end, we got almost double what the insurance company was willing to offer. We can't be more happy and thankful for Excel Adjusters for their excellent service. On a side note,  while we are working on our claim, our friend happened to have a leak as well and we referred her to Mr. Park,  Mr. Park went to her house and agreed to help her.  However, after he read through her policy and realized she has a high deductible, he dropped the case.  Because he knew after the fee and deductible, she won't have much left for repair. We had no idea that public adjustors even existed, but randomly heard about Excel (John Park) through a friend of ours. We are SO thankful for that chance conversation because it made such a huge difference. We discovered water damage from a hot water spring leak, which had been ongoing for several weeks. When we called our carrier, they sent an inspector who looked around our house and noticed the kitchen flooring had a slight mound. He did not crawl underneath the house, however. After that, we received notice from our carrier that we would be receiving what seemed like a very low payout. So we called Mr. Park at Excel. They immediately came and did a thorough inspection, going underneath our house. I don't think I can say enough good things about Mr. Park and his assistant, Sarah but I will try to express my gratitude toward their professional service here. We had kitchen leak last Nov. and reported to my insurance company right away. At that time, I had no experience claiming water loss with ins company so I just entrusted their instruction and used whatever company the ins co. had sent to our house. That's a huge mistake. The water mitigation company that the ins company sent to my house is totally allied with ins co. and not doing thing in my best interest. For example: they teared down half of my kitchen but saved the door and cabinet frame and told me that they can match the whole kitchen by putting the original frame and door back. Or to tell me that they can computer match my existing paint color and touch up the damaged area so I don't have to repaint the whole kitchen and living room. They even tried to covered up one moldy cabinet by spraying chemical treatment and told me that the cabinet is unaffected and is in great condition so we don't need to remove or treat that cabinet. I didn't like the patch-work solution that the ins and mitigation company proposed but I thought that's the only way that ins will pay for my claim. At the same time, the ins company started sending me letters and saying that a lot of damaged items won't be covered! I realized I need someone to help me fight for my right. I am so glad that I found Mr. Park to represent me. He is very professional, easy to communicate with. He is very thorough and fight for my right as if it's for his own house. Our family suffered a major leak in our home from the second floor of our master bathroom sink. The leaked caused enough damage to remove master bedroom carpet, hallway flooring, dining room floor/drywalls, and the removal of all kitchen cabinets, flooring, and drywalls. Our house was gutted to bare bones. The restoration company seems very helpful until all the drying and demo process was completed. Then it was difficult to contact them. Triple A sent estimators and restoration company to look at the damage. This was perform to protect the interest of insurance company and not the owner of the house. (License #2B88268) is attempting to fraudulently charge a fee on a claim for money previously received before they were hired, that they were not involved in nor was not a part of the contract agreement signed.
