Some were total losses where people lost their entire home and others had all the terrible pollutants of lead poisoning and other atrocious toxins at their property following this event. This public adjusting office led by George. Did a phenomenal job exceeding my expectation with our recovery. Insurance companies can be very slippery and love to defer defend deny and delay claims. They were no different here and did all of the above. But at the end of the day, we recovered well over 10 times what I expected. It took a long time the process was challenging, but fortunately, the majority of the work was done by this group and I didn't have to really speak with the insurance company much at all. I was guided through the entire process and really supported with our losses. There are parts of the claims that I didn't understand and parts of insurance coverages that I didn't understand but now I'm much more educated.
