    Jamal and Tony did a great job replacing my gate door with all new hardware and all of the pickets for both front facing sides of my house. My gate no longer sags and gets caught on the concrete pathway. They were extremely nice and professional and pricing was extremely reasonable. I would definitely recommend them for any fence related work you might have.

    Jamal was awesome! He built a 75ft privacy fence and it looks great! After reaching out to about 10 different contractors, Jamal's price was the best. He always was responsive and when he came out to build the fence, him and his crew were awesome. I will definitely be using them again in the future. Highly recommended!

    Jamal and Tony came out to help replace some sections of fence at the front of our house and replace an entry gate. They were both extremely easy to work with. Professional, courteous, communicative, and their pricing was fair. It was also the best of the 3 quotes I received while gathering quotes. They laid out the project and were even able to come out sooner than anticipated to start work. Overall the work was completed in just a few hours for a new gate and about 16-18ft of new fence. It looks fantastic as you can see by the photos. I just need to stain it now, however that also appears to be a service they offer on their site as well, depending whether you need that too of course. Thanks Jamal and Tony! The statements contained in this review are accurate and truthful. I have retained documentation supporting the events described below, including text messages, emails, photographs, and video recordings. A+ Fence initially appeared to be a suitable contractor; however, the overall experience involved multiple issues that left me dissatisfied with both the outcome and the process. I selected A+ Fence after researching several companies. Their pricing was mid-range, and they confirmed they could complete my requested scope of work. Unfortunately, issues arose during multiple stages. One issue involved landscaping adjacent to the fence line. I have a large juniper bush near the installation area and requested it be trimmed slightly to allow space for the fence. In my view, the trimming went far beyond what was necessary. Branches well above fence height were cut, leaving the bush sparse. Because juniper branches do not regrow, this requires a new landscaping solution. I retained before-and-after photos. I requested compensation and was offered $300. Additional issues involved the gate installation. I specifically requested a locking mechanism, but it was not installed initially. After the crew left, I contacted the company via email. A follow-up appointment was scheduled, but no one arrived and I was not notified. I later learned the crew had gone to another project, leaving my project incomplete longer than expected. When rescheduled, the crew arrived about three hours late. It was dark and around 30°F in Denver. The latch was installed, but the gate was spray-painted in conditions unsuitable for painting, resulting in an uneven, blotchy finish. An employee gave me spray paint and suggested I complete touch-ups myself, which I declined. I documented the paint condition with photos. I contacted the owner, who returned and repainted certain areas. Afterward, the gate intermittently failed to latch due to misalignment with the post. I recorded video evidence and shared it with the owner. He returned and made adjustments, but the issue soon returned. On January 1, 2026, the owner inspected the gate again. At that moment it latched properly, so he declined further investigation. I explained the intermittent nature and prior adjustments. He stated he believed nothing was wrong and suggested I may have interfered with the gate. I disagreed and requested the root cause be addressed. During this visit, the owner became visibly upset, said he was tired of dealing with me, called me a "spoiled millennial," and told me to "fuck off." When I said I intended to leave a review, he said he would sue me. This interaction was captured on my home security camera. Because of this, I documented the ongoing issue. Throughout January and early February 2026, I recorded 14 videos and took photos showing the misalignment. On January 30, I submitted a warranty repair request via email with documentation. I received no response. On February 6, I followed up by phone and left two voicemails. After no response, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau regarding both the owner's conduct and the lack of response. During the BBB process, the owner did not apologize and again referenced possible legal action if I shared my experience. I ultimately voided the two-year warranty and hired another company to fix the issue, as I no longer had confidence in A+ Fence. I requested $500 to offset repair costs. A+ Fence paid the $500, and the BBB complaint was closed as resolved. Based on my experience, I was dissatisfied with the workmanship, communication, and professionalism. Missed appointments, delays, workmanship concerns, and the final interactions made the process unnecessarily stressful. If making the decision again, I would choose a different company, even at a higher cost.

    PLEASE READ BEFORE HIRING. This company goes by the names…read moreAnything in Wood and Crown Rail. I hired this company based off of the more than 50 five-star reviews on their Crown Rail website. I found the reviews on Anything in Wood too late. Just when I thought I did my due diligence in hiring a contractor, I find out he has more than one company that he goes by. During my initial conversation with Michael, he said he would be managing and overseeing the entire project with his crew, which I quickly learned was not the case. Michael is the owner. When I specifically asked Michael if Chris and Ben were his employees, he said they were. I'm thinking they are sub-contractors. He also subcontracts a painter who stains, and paints any touches up the wall paint. Israel is very reliable. Michael never came to oversee the project which made it very difficult for many reasons, including scheduling delays and unprofessional behavior from Ben and Chris. There was lack communication in what I needed to do next. For example; when do I schedule the painter, when do I schedule the carpet to be installed, as well as the fact that I was supposed to call and have the trash bin picked-up. It caused the "3-4 day" job to be extended to 16 days! Michael never showed up after the initial interview and sale for several reasons; some I believed were true, others, I'm not so sure about. On Day 1, they were supposed to begin. I was expecting them at 9am. Michael emailed and said they had to finish another job, but they would bring the trailer by mid-afternoon. They arrived at 7pm. Day 2, Ben's car wouldn't start so Chris had to go and pick him up. They didn't arrive until 11:15am I was nothing but kind to these young men. I offered them water, asked if they needed anything, complimented them on how clean they left my house, and complimented them on their craftsmanship. Day 4, they came and I somehow offended them when I said, "I was excited to see the progress today." They verbally abused me like I have never been spoken to by any contractor. They packed up the trailer and left! How unprofessional and childish to stomp off mad when we were nothing but kind to them. Also, apparently you cannot ask questions throughout the process of the demo/construction in your own home, or they will be offended and leave! I was devastated by their treatment and also stressed out by how, and by who this project would get completed. Obviously, there was much left to do! Day 5, they returned because Michael made them. Day 16, they returned to finish something that was obviously left undone. Michael doesn't compensate the painter for several errors that Ben and Chris made, so he had to re-do stain. I asked Michael specifically to compensate him for that, since we paid him for the expected job he would do for us. I don't believe Michael had any intention to do so. This has been an EXTREMELY stressful and unprofessional company. I would not want them in my house ever again. I lost many nights of sleep, as well as the inability to eat much due to the stress levels they caused. Michael never came back after the sale, but said he would come by to pick up the check when job was completed. He couldn't even be bothered to do that. But he had the nerve, in three emails, in 2 days before job was complete, to demand I give the check to Chris since the job was "completed". Even though the final product is okay, I do not recommend you use either company that Michael owns. R.A
