Instead of fixing the issue or offering a real solution, they only offered to remove the memory for free and give me a $200 in-store credit. The problem is that there is practically nothing of real value you can buy in their store for that amount. Even the cheapest replacement laptop (which the manager showed me himself) costs about $186, yet they refused to order it for me or provide an equivalent replacement. They also refused to refund anything in cash or compensate the value of the damaged device. I was told that when you drop off your device, you sign a paper that supposedly frees them from almost any responsibility -- something they never clearly explain, and something most people understandably don't read in detail. In other words, even if they break your working device, they claim they're not liable. I'm sharing this so others are aware: read everything before signing, and think twice before bringing your device here. My laptop was fully functional before their service, and completely dead afterward -- and they took no responsibility for it.
