I already had a quote and asked if it could be taken care of on the spot or would there be a wait to order parts. He informed me they could get it done right away. There was a turn because almost 2 hours later I had to go to the register and ask what the problem was. The manager James was just as hospitable as Chris and this put me at ease. I explained my issue and he did everything to remedy the situation. I am HUGE on customer service, so even though I had to wait, I didn't mind because I saw how each of their employees interacted with the customers. I myself interacted with 3 people that day and each of them were respectable. The only thing that prevented this from being a 5 star review is the failure to communicate the issue with finding the correct part, otherwise great job!

Today the technician fill my 3.0 diesel with 10 quarts of oil and it calls for 7 quarts. Luckily I noticed as soon as I pulled out of the bay that I didn't have the 3 quarts in my 5 quart jug I brought with me. I quickly went back around and they dropped the oil down to the proper level of 7 quarts. They had a mechanic drive the truck to ensure we didn't have any white smoke or oil leaks from the seals. They had 3 quarts brought to the shop to replace the 3 that had to be drained. What should've been a quick oil change turned into my being here for nearly an hour and half. I asked if they could comp my next oil change and they said No. When you're here just make sure the technician knows the amount of oil your vehicle needs. They have access to this information and this shouldn't have ever happened.

Fred's Tire Discounters…read more If you are a woman beware. I would strongly advise not doing business with Tire Discounters (formally known as Fred's tires). This used to be the only place I would use but always would have my Dad take my vehicle. I called to make an appointment to see why my air conditioner was not working. I called a few days prior and was quoted $280. On the day of my appointment the 4th of April, I had made to have my air conditioner checked due to it not cooling. I arrived on the 4th and the man explained that they would only charge me for the Freon that needed to be added. After they took my truck back. They advised me that my hoses and everything was good and the Freon was good but my compressor had went out. I asked them how much that would be. They told me they would not be able to fix it that day even though the appointment was at 9 AM that morning. They quoted $1300 for the compressor and having to charge the system again. So once I went inside the office, I found how they had charged me for draining my lines and charging a system of $400 prior to checking my compressor. After talking they agreed that was not right and they were going to refund my money. After giving the run around for 3 days and the refund was not returned to my card, I sent my Dad up there to handle it. They told him it would be returned by April 11th and if not to come back up there. On April 13th he went back up there and was told by Kim to give it until April 25th, they were either going to refund back to the card or send a check in the mail by April 25th. When I didn't receive either one my Dad went back up there on April 27th and was told by Kim that they were not going to refund the money. It took them 3 weeks to give me the run around and then refuse to refund my money. I advise you to find somewhere else to do business. Here is a voicemail from Kim saying that I was going to get a refund.

Several days later, they called me and told me the vehicle was repaired and ready for pick up. Within an hour of taking the vehicle home, the problems persisted with the door locks and key fob, the window remained working. I took it back to the shop. Todd assured me there will be no additional charges since it was still under warranty (one day later SMH). After several more days, I went to the shop and was told that it might be another issue causing the problem. He asked me to bring it back and he would look at it further. I told him that I was displeased because of the amount I was charged and the fact that the vehicle was still experiencing power issues. His response: "Well, we did get the window to work." Shortly after, I initiated a Credit dispute. The Credit company contacted Todd's auto, and theTodd's Auto blatantly lied and told the Credit Card company that they only charged me to have the window fixed and nothing else. My response was: "Why did I bring it back under the warranty if the window was still working and that was all I needed to be fixed?" If you have money to throw away, for poor or no service, take your vehicle to Todd's Auto and hand them your money. At least you'll walk away knowing they didn't steal it from you.

I had a simple request of asking what an estimate (ball park) would be to replace a rear main seal. The owner's daughter quickly informed me that we don't give estimates without a diagnostic (explanation was very rude). I tried to explain that understanding that there could be something else wrong with the jeep. I attempted to reiterate that I concur, but would still like an estimate of what it would cost to replace a rear main seal. I told her that I am fine with paying the diagnostic fee, if the price to fix the rear main seal was not extravagant. I would like to have a ball park idea of what I am getting into! I told her I understand that if they do the diagnostic and it is something else than the price would be completely different. I have worked on cars for 30 years to include rebuilding engines and that I have a little knowledge. I have clearly seen that the rear main seal is leaking. At this point she became even more hostile but agreed to let me speak with her dad. The owner understood the issue and my stance, but chose to defend his daughter. I believe the associated overhead of getting a new building has caused them to change their business dynamics and possibly attempt to gouge people similar to shady mechanics. The customer service was the worst I have ever seen. Maybe the owner will realize that his daughter is not the best person to put in front of customers. I don't think it is unreasonable to ask if this is the case (rear main seal) what could potentially be the price. Give me an estimate, I determine if it is within my budget, if so I pay for a diagnostic to CONFIRM my suspicions then I pay to fix the issue. It seems to me that they are making a killing with diagnostic tests $150 and don't want to jeopardize it. Avoid at all cost!

They are obviously very serious professionals, nothing less. They were ever so awesomely nice too. They even called me to tell me the pump wasn't bad, it was the tensioner bearings, but they suggested, and I agreed, since they had to take off the timing belt anyhow, and they had it, replace it. He said that if I got it in first thing in the morning, he could have it out by lunchtime. I drive a Volvo, and he said that he would go ahead and order the brake pads ahead of time since those parts aren't as common in the area. I showed up first thing this morning, dropped off the car, and was greeted by a very friendly owner who was seamless. The drop-off while I waited for my pickup was very easy. He offered coffee or water, which was very kind. He called me even earlier than expected and told me that they were ready to go, even though they had had a couple other jobs before me. Overall, it was a great experience. He did not try to upsell me on other services that needed to happen. It was an easy in and out, and I would definitely use them again if I lived in the area or if I was traveling back in the area and needed some mechanic. Replacement brake pads on the rear were about $286, which seemed reasonable. I do most of my work myself, but this wasn't terrible for probably one or two hours of work.
