Great customer service and very thorough on their evaluation of the issue. Upfront and honest about their policies and procedures. Quick turnaround. read more

I authorized what was presented to me as a "labor" charge for my vehicle, with the understanding that the issue would be addressed. After paying, no repairs were completed and the vehicle was returned in the same condition. The charge turned out to be for diagnostics only, but it was not clearly distinguished as such. Accurate labeling and clear communication are critical when customers are making decisions about vehicle repairs. I recommend confirming in writing exactly what services are included before approving any work. read more

I do not recommend this place to anyone! I warn everyone I know to not go there. They recommended a pricy fuel pump repair for our truck and to this day that part still has not been replaced by anyone!!! Not impressed by them at all. read more

Do NOT take your vehicle to Auto Masters!!! Took my Jeep in for an oil change, they said the transmission was leaking so I agreed to let them fix it. Next time I drove it there was a large leak on my driveway. Took it back, and within a few days while driving, it started smoking! Had it towed back to Auto Masters - they said the clip that holds the line on came off and it was fixed! Drove it and same thing happened 2 more times! They finally told me they couldn't fix it, the transmission was gone by then, & to take it to a transmission specialist, which they did not claim to be. If you google transmission repair, in Yelp they are listed under "10 best transmission repairs near Columbus GA". They broke my transmission and won't accept responsibility! They do not stand by their words or work! I do NOT recommend Auto Masters! read more

Stay away from this place!!! I took my 2011 BMW 535I that I purchase from Carvana. Auto Masters Repair listed as a preferred repair for Carvana therefore my deductible waived (NOT)!. Auto Masters Repair stated there is nothing wrong with the vehicle and I'm good to go! Auto Masters Repair had the vehicle for 3 days! Auto Masters Repair look like they drove my vehicle to Florida on a dirt road that's how "DIRTY" my car was! Day 4 after picking the vehicle up I'm still hearing the same noise and having the same issues! I decided to take my vehicle to another mechanic due to the fact I'm hearing the same noise! They found the issue within 2 hours stating rear main seal, valve cover and AC bone dry! Once again Auto Masters completed a full Multi-Point inspection and found nothing!!! PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM AUTO MASTERS REPAIR! read more

They advise services that are not required for your car. Watch them and get a second opinion before fixing what they say your car needs.

Visited Auto Masters location a recently. While in the front office area i encountered what was apparently a base-line secretary "Mrs. Pair" who, you could just tell, thinks she's all THAT! Well, with "queen" attitudes, your business is certain to suffer. Since when are customers not appreciated? Bad attitudes are contagious. Get down off your high-horse girl and try actually being nice to the customers. read more

Columbus is lucky to have Auto Masters Repair. It is difficult to find a mechanic that makes you feel they have the customer's best interest in mind, and whose actions support that feeling. Thank you AMR for all of the above, plus your delightful and professional office staff, your communication throughout the repair process, taking great care of my vehicle, fair prices, the patience displayed with my insurance company, and going above and beyond to help out this new grandmother!! read more

Explained everything I needed to know . Got it fixed right away when I needed it. I called for a noise he charged me nothing to listen to it, he was able to tell me right away what it was . read more

1200$ for a brake job is a joke! Will not let you talk to the mechanic, cost me 60$ to take the lugs nuts off the car! worst shot ever! Don't look at the BS 5 reviews! I'm sure they got payed!! read more

Not sure where to start. I have decided these guys are my normal mechanic now. I've taken my Jeep in twice for issues that someone else caused. They fixed it on budget and before time. After talking to some of the guys they are spot on with diagnostics and repairs. They also give military discount. Highly recommend Auto Masters!! read more

Im new in town so picked this shop on ratings. Went in for what I thought was a break issue, turned out to be dirty rotors and tire rotation needed. I thought they were honest and friendly, not to mention fairly priced. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you Auto Masters for your good work and honesty !!! read more

Took my vehicle there three times in the span of two weeks because it was cutting off and not idling well and they were unable to fix it. I spent $800 fixing issues they told me that would address the problem, but it was never actually fixed. The manager told me I could bring it in a 4th time and pay more money but they're not even sure if it would fix the problem or not. read more

Around noon on a Thursday, I was unable to start my car. I called Automasters and told them I would be having the car towed to their shop. Slade gave me the name of an individual that tows cars--Mr. Big Tows. He showed up quickly and did a great job loading the car (that should be a separate review). Automasters called me within a couple of hours with the estimate and ordered the parts from Atlanta. I have a Suzuki and it can be challenging to find the parts. The car was fixed Friday afternoon. I was very pleased with the turn around time. I will highly recommend Automasters to others. read more

Very friendly customer service. They did a great job on my vehicle repair (water pump and radiator hoses) and I think that I got a very good price. The repair took a little bit longer than I expected but they were very upfront about how busy they were when I dropped my car off and they were really good about calling me to update me on their estimated completion time and the cost after they finished their inspection. I wont ever use any other mechanic in Columbus besides them. read more

I cannot say enough good about this business! I was so hot when my air went out, an hour away from home, and with no reliable mechanics in the small town I am from. They took me in at the end of the day, on a Friday no less, and got me out of there very quickly. The mechanic, Phil, was very nice and helpful, as well as a knowledgeable mechanic. The waiting room was exceptionally nice for an auto repair place. The repairs that were made now have me riding with a nice cool car and it was priced very reasonably. Thank you guys soooo much! I would recommend them to anyone that needs car repair and will definitely go back when I need some. read more

The service and professionalism of this shop is exactly what you hope to get from a auto repair shop! The repair issues were explained in detail along with suggestions for needed repairs! I took a F150 ford truck that had a serious oil leak there to get repaired and had such confidence in their work, I took my daughter in laws car to get serviced there also! They do excellent work! read more

Great shop, great customer service. The ladies in the office are very sweet, Mr. Jim was very nice as well. I came in for something small and he didn't try to overcharge me. I will definitely be back again. read more

Phil worked on our car for 3 hours after the shop had closed just to help us out (this was our first time to the shop). Although he couldn't fix the car that day (we needed another part) he got the job done as soon as the part came in and didn't even charge us for the all the time he spent. He works quickly and seems very honest. We will be getting our oil changes and repairs from now on. read more

I was traveling to Atlanta from Alabama and the heat shield came loose. I went in around 8:10 and was out by 8:31. Not only was the service quick, but I felt completely comfortable continuing the drive to and from my destination. read more

Auto Master's is excellent! Recently decided to hang on to an older vehicle, and I'd let some things slip in anticipation of selling it. They brought it back to life quick and for a reasonable price. When there was something still off, I brought it back in and they were happy to correct it, and they made it a priority to make sure I didn't have to wait too long. Importantly, I trust they are providing a quality service and interested solely in satisfying their customers. They're good people. read more
