I authorized what was presented to me as a "labor" charge for my vehicle, with the understanding that the issue would be addressed. After paying, no repairs were completed and the vehicle was returned in the same condition. The charge turned out to be for diagnostics only, but it was not clearly distinguished as such. Accurate labeling and clear communication are critical when customers are making decisions about vehicle repairs. Do NOT take your vehicle to Auto Masters!!! Took my Jeep in for an oil change, they said the transmission was leaking so I agreed to let them fix it. Next time I drove it there was a large leak on my driveway. Took it back, and within a few days while driving, it started smoking! Had it towed back to Auto Masters - they said the clip that holds the line on came off and it was fixed! Drove it and same thing happened 2 more times! They finally told me they couldn't fix it, the transmission was gone by then, & to take it to a transmission specialist, which they did not claim to be. If you google transmission repair, in Yelp they are listed under "10 best transmission repairs near Columbus GA". They broke my transmission and won't accept responsibility! Auto Masters Repair stated there is nothing wrong with the vehicle and I'm good to go! Auto Masters Repair had the vehicle for 3 days! Auto Masters Repair look like they drove my vehicle to Florida on a dirt road that's how "DIRTY" my car was! Day 4 after picking the vehicle up I'm still hearing the same noise and having the same issues! I decided to take my vehicle to another mechanic due to the fact I'm hearing the same noise! They found the issue within 2 hours stating rear main seal, valve cover and AC bone dry! Once again Auto Masters completed a full Multi-Point inspection and found nothing!!! Visited Auto Masters location a recently. While in the front office area i encountered what was apparently a base-line secretary "Mrs. Pair" who, you could just tell, thinks she's all THAT! Well, with "queen" attitudes, your business is certain to suffer. Since when are customers not appreciated? Bad attitudes are contagious. Took my vehicle there three times in the span of two weeks because it was cutting off and not idling well and they were unable to fix it. I spent $800 fixing issues they told me that would address the problem, but it was never actually fixed. The manager told me I could bring it in a 4th time and pay more money but they're not even sure if it would fix the problem or not. read more

Around noon on a Thursday, I was unable to start my car. I called Automasters and told them I would be having the car towed to their shop. Slade gave me the name of an individual that tows cars--Mr. Big Tows. He showed up quickly and did a great job loading the car (that should be a separate review). Automasters called me within a couple of hours with the estimate and ordered the parts from Atlanta. I have a Suzuki and it can be challenging to find the parts. The car was fixed Friday afternoon. I was very pleased with the turn around time. I will highly recommend Automasters to others. read more

Very friendly customer service. They did a great job on my vehicle repair (water pump and radiator hoses) and I think that I got a very good price. The repair took a little bit longer than I expected but they were very upfront about how busy they were when I dropped my car off and they were really good about calling me to update me on their estimated completion time and the cost after they finished their inspection. I cannot say enough good about this business! I was so hot when my air went out, an hour away from home, and with no reliable mechanics in the small town I am from. They took me in at the end of the day, on a Friday no less, and got me out of there very quickly. The mechanic, Phil, was very nice and helpful, as well as a knowledgeable mechanic. The waiting room was exceptionally nice for an auto repair place. The repairs that were made now have me riding with a nice cool car and it was priced very reasonably. Thank you guys soooo much! Phil worked on our car for 3 hours after the shop had closed just to help us out (this was our first time to the shop). Although he couldn't fix the car that day (we needed another part) he got the job done as soon as the part came in and didn't even charge us for the all the time he spent.
