I have been a long time regular of Joys. Everything from the staff to the speed of service to the prices are all excellent. Typically my husband and I order the Mexican dishes because you can't beat their dishes anywhere in town. Often though I do order some classic American dishes and those never disappoint either. Breakfast favorites include the chilaquilles, their waffles and the grilled cornbread (you absolutely must try!) Lunch and dinner favorites include the enchiladas suizas, California wrap, and a good old grilled cheese and fries (which I had today) For appetizers you must try the guacamole and the nachos. I love that they open so early and that I can order dinner for breakfast and breakfast for dinner especially working crazy hours myself- being able to order a meal I want and not restricted to "breakfast times and menus" is pretty great. Joys is always willing to accomaccommodate and that is why we always make a stop when we can! I can't say enough about how delicious this place is! It's most definitely a family style restaurant (ie: casual) but it's well maintained and clean. We go here a lot for breakfast and when you sit down you're almost instantly offered coffee. Very refreshing not to have to hunt down a waitress for coffee. Their menu is pretty extensive. There are some things that I don't think I would expect on there (Greek? Italian?). That being said, they have the most AMAZING huervo rancheros everrr. I order them every single time. I want to try some of their other breakfast items like the Mexican burrito. But it's literally so delicious I can't do it. Portions are large and two people can eat a full breakfast for around $20. Wanted a breakfast sandwich on the way to work called in a western egg and cheese. Friendly enough service but my sandwich costed 7.80 after tax. That really expensive to me for a small breakfast sandwich the most I've ever paid for was 4 dollars and that's with a coffee. Hello, called to order something. Nobody picks up till the third call. When they pick up and i ask for delivery they tell me, no delivery is available because they apparently close in 30 min even though it says it is open till 8 pm on the brochure. Then she tells me we will deliver up to $20 and i said thats fine because we were ordering up to $80 actually. I start placing the order she is like sorry we dont have that, we dont have that. They will let you get Mexican food at breakfast. We've been here a few times and although the parking situation is awful sometimes, the service is fast and the food is tasty and hot. So much cheese in the omelettes! My favorites are the huevos rancheros and the pork carnita tacos. Hard to find good West Coast style Mexican food out here but they have it! read more

We wer we were in the area for an appointment, and happen to pass by this place. We have some downtime before the appointment, so decided to go back and check it out. I'm glad we did. We got a Mexican omelette which was reasonably price. It also came with home fries, and toast. Everything had a great flavor. The staff was friendly, and you could tell they have many regulars. Even though we got our stuff to go we really like the atmosphere. We don't live far from here, so I think will become regulars as well. I have been coming here for a while now & always had a good experience. However today was terrible. Our waitress waited on every table except for ours. When our food finally came our order was wrong. We were patient & kindly explained to her that the order was inaccurate she became annoyed and said she would be back. I didn't know what to expect of it since it was a very unassuming place, and although I love Mexican food, I wasn't sure what the breakfast would be like. I read amazing Yelp reviews so I had to try it out! I ordered the California omelette but swapped out the chives for bacon bits -- so it was bacon, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, and avocado, and I put it on an English muffin (with some extra avocado on top!) and it was absolutely incredibly delicious!!! Best breakfast I've had in a while. On top of that, the service was quick, pleasant, and accurate. Also, the hashbrowns were amazing and so was the Cinnamon Apple French Toast. I wouldn't mind so much however, the waitress stops at every table with small talk. Just a simple hello and goodbye so the food has always been the same. Paid the Early bird special with cash a few times with nothing was stated about the below the $10.00 rule with debit or credit card. So being about the 7th time they old me and I asked why I was not told this prior, I don't mind bringing cash to pay but when I pay with a credit card numerous times and then I am basically told by the rude waitress I can't no more sat with me wrong. I am not sure how to feel about this, very close to my place very convenient but may reconsider which I feel bad due to ALL the other staff being super friendly. It's on Rte. 32 and is easy to pass right on by. But I'll not let it take away any stars on this review! Once inside (which is surprisingly spacious) there are plenty of booths and counter space to accomodate. The server and chef were very friendly. I went for breakfast and boy was it good! My wife and I ordered American items like cheese omelette with hash, pancakes, eggs over medium ( which my wife is a stickler for to be done just right). Home fries were very good. And our server made sure our coffee mugs were refilled. Food was just perfect. It was air conditioned and we just thoroughly enjoyed it. Next time I will go for a Mexican breakfast as they have an equally extensive Mexican breakfast menu! And the price wasn't too bad either. We were full for hours after leaving. I really used to love this place but it's gone downhill in the years. I took my family there this past weekend and it took over an hour for an omelette, French toast and the Spanish egg dish to come out..mind you our waitress was not attentive nor super friendly. Then when we finally got our food my stepmom found a black beard hair on her French toast none of us has a black beard. I'm also hoping it's just a beard hair because it honestly looked like a pube.
