Huevos rancheros up front and a steak omelet in the back

Pulling up to this restaurant looks a little scary. It doesn't look like it's going to be good food or a good place. However, the staff is super friendly and efficient. The place is clean. And the food is super yummy. If you're in the neighborhood, it's definitely a place to go for a solid breakfast.

This is a great local breakfast spot. Great combination of mexican and american diner. The eggs florentine was surprisingly excellent. If you like an easy, no fuss, no pretense try this. Can recommend the biscuit as well. Was happy to be able to get a half portion to try it. One quibble.... Had to ask for menu/service. Customers who came in after us were served first.

10/10 recommend this place! We found this place after going to the casino and so glad we did. Everything we got was amazing. The Huevos rancheros were delicious and so filling! Service was great, very fast and attentive. Will be coming back here.

    Mini Classic breakfast.

Great locals diner! Parking is tight, but we were there early.(7:30am) Prices are super reasonable in this post pandemic world. They have linguica on the menu too.I ordered a mini classic breakfast, which I would normally make at home. Cleaned my plate!

Huarache with chorizo. No rice and beans come with it, but it is SO GOOD and a very generous portion like everything else they have here!
    Laura M.

One of my favorite restaurants ever. They have consistently delicious food and the staff are all so sweet. Top recommendations are the huevos rancheros, flautas, huarache, tostadas, patty melt, the list goes on and on! Everything here is fantastic. Great breakfast/lunch option near Mohegan and just a short drive from Foxwoods. I wish I lived closer or else I would be here a couple times a week.

I went with a party of 7, the food took over 45 minutes to get to our table which is way too long for a diner. The food was good, though!

I've eaten here a few times, today was…read moreprobably the poorest reception I've had because I stood at the window being told they'd be there in a few minutes the whole time before I was finally actually spoken to. It was taco Tuesday, so their fish, shrimp, clam, and calamari just tacos were 7.99. I ordered the lobster roll, a fish taco, a shrimp taco, a small onion ring, and got a half tea, half lemonade. This was way too much food, btw. Ambiance wise, it's like a food truck sprouted roots and picnic tables, but at least they have covered seating now so on a hot day there's shade. You order at the window and they'll bring you the food to the table you choose. The lobster roll had decent lobster, not the juiciest but not chewy either. It was missing some toasting on the bun, but it could have done with half the butter. Everything was so saturated that it detracted from the experience and then sat heavy afterwards. Loads of lobster, though. The tacos were each the size of my forearm. There were two overlapping tortillas so it was easy to pick one up and let any overflow fall into the second tortilla. Unfortunately there was an imbalance of dry, floury ingredients to juicy ones. The tortillas were not grilled or toasted, so just raw flour tortillas. The shredded cheese also had a moisture sucking quality. The breading on the shrimp and fish lacked seasoning, thus presenting as flour forward. It was served with a white sauce but rather than being a crema it had a sour cream consistency, and the taco was already heavy after the lobster roll was sitting heavy from all the butter. This left the coleslaw and tomatoes to do all the lifting of adding moisture and lightness to the taco, and there was just too much to overcome. Maybe without the cheese it could have been fine? Finally the onion rings were really good and the side of coleslaw was pleasant to eat. All in all, it's worth stopping in and getting food here. I come a couple times a year myself, try different parts of the menu. Nothing blows me away but nothing turns me away either.

While having drinks, the bartender recommended Summer Shack since it was our first time here and it's a family friendly restaurant. The restaurant offers a variety of fresh seafood dishes, steaks, and burgers. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. Food and service were good. My husband and I shared the wedge salad. My friends also ordered oysters and octopus. I had the mussels, my husband and friend had the tenderloin steak tips and my other friend had the fish and chips. For dessert, we had the creme brûlée. The food portions were great. We were pretty much the only ones left at the restaurant. It was the perfect place to have dinner with family and friends visiting. I would definitely come back and recommend this place.

It's actually one of the more expensive restaurants on the Mohegan Sun property. The others are high value, this place takes the cash but the portions oof. I'm sure they will blame tariffs, Iran, Ukraine, Palestine or some political issue for it but the fact is the markup is extreme especially even more so for a dive theme restaurant. Example lobster at fish market is $6-10 per lb in the region, in the summer the price is lower. Yet lobster here starts at nearly $80 and up. That's a lot higher than the standard markup. Got the Fisherman's platter portion size not impressed for the price. Taste completely unseasoned, already a horrible start. The shrimp were way overcooked. The Fish bland, and tough, overcooked as well. The scallops good natural flavor, unseasoned and also overcooked. Truly sad cause if prepared right while a bit overpriced probably the closest thing to a fair price it would have been a home run. Can confirm seasoning does actually improve taste if only the cook/chef knew that. Food is still overcooked but salt and pepper does help it go down. The waitress was great that is a plus and the beer was solid. Overall the casino has better options, looked like a cool place had a line waiting for open but disappointing the food was overcooked and bland. Always willing to give another chance but first impression wasn't good at all. Staff is amazing so that's a plus.

I eventually got my order, and a few minutes my wife got hers, although the table of the people who came in after us got their order before us. The food was good but I've had better. After we finished we waited for someone to give us a box to take our leftovers home. Again we waited. Then we had to wait for our check. I motioned to the host multiple times that we were waiting, but he was too busy talking to people at a different table to pay attention to me. We finally went to the counter to pay on our way out. It will be awhile before I go back again. Some people commented on how they upgraded the restaurant. We were there when the previous owners were there and it has not been changed.

I was very happy with this Asian restaurant in Bozrah of all places. Very clean inside, great…read moreservice, affordable prices. I ordered the Scallion Pancake appetizer. It was flavorful and crispy. My only complaint was they served it with Moo Shu sauce, when the gold standard is dumpling sauce. For my dinner, I ordered the Szechuan chicken. The portion was big and the ingredients tasted very fresh. It was spicy just how I like it, but this was the Americanized Szechuan (not cooked with szechuan peppercorns). It was still very good. I plan on returning soon to try some of the more authentic items on the menu - especially some of the dishes utilizing hot chili oil. There was also a vast selection of soups, rices, tofu and noodle dishes. There were no Thai Curries, but they do have Pad Thai. The restaurant also includes a bar. Sadly, there were only 2 other customers on a Thursday night at 6:30. I hope word spreads about this place and they are able to stay open.
