The ladies are really polite and nice but I really can't get myself to like the result. They made it too thin and the sides r over scraped that's why it's thin and weird looking. I was also charged $80 without being informed beforehand. I asked on the call and they said $45 but then immediately charged me more for the ombré without even letting me know?. I didn't wanna complain since the ladies are nice but definitely don't recommend it. Just my experience. Went here with a friend almost 3 weeks ago. Called ahead to secure an appointment; glad I did, it was pretty busy when we arrived. Got a pedicure and gel manicure. Pedicure was fantastic. They add a special power into the water and give hot stone massage as well as paraffin on the heels. Toes were done just how I like! Gel manicure was also great. I was looking around for a good nail place that's close by and I found this place. I loved it! Everyone was very friendly, the place is clean and my manicurist was fantastic. Joanne did my pedicure and my manicure was done my Sunny. Both very good at what they do. I went in for a gel manicure and a regular pedicure which on Monday through Wednesday it's on special for $45. I absolutely love my gel manicure. Sunny did a really good job. She made sure my gel manicure was perfect until the end. I liked that she really took her time and was very thorough. Joanne did an equally great job with my pedicure. ! HORRIBLE service!!! I still can't recover from that experience!! I called for an appointment and was given a 6.30pm one. I arrived on time and waited about 15 min, which was ok with me. After they removed my previous gel color at the pedicure chair Sunny filed my nails standing up next to me (still getting pedicure ) She was in a hurry and all my nails had different shapes. I asked for her file and shaped my one hands nails while the pedicure girl was finishing . After that I was told to move to the manicure table . I quickly did and started panicking and rushing to finish my other hand . HERE comes the worst part. ANNA, who was doing someone else's nails said to me: Common, Tina, we close at 7.30. I surrendered my hands to Sunny speechless and stunned as my eyes started to water! I looked at the clock , it was 7.20. Then I asked who the owner is and was told the owner is not there. I asked why did they give me an appointment if they knew they can't finish on time to close . Got no answer or eye contact from Anna . I said I'm very upset and that's not how you treat a customer. No answer. Meanwhile Sunny wasted no time painted my half filed nails , never buffed my mails , did not push cuticles , did not even clean nails . I looked at the clock again when I was paying and it was 7.31. 10 minutes for a gel manicure!!!! I was shaking . My nails were catching on my clothes and I was given a small square buffer which I used to file my nails in my car . I was told the owner is Amy. The young sweet girl who was usually at the reception desk. I'm sorry, Amy, if you really are the owner. Don't let people like Anna represent your business . A hidden gem in Bergen County! I had been going to various other nail places for over 20 years and figured I would try this based on reviews before a wedding. The experience far surpassed our expectations and my mom and I will both definitely be back! Our nails came out beautiful, the customer service was excellent, and they add so many little extras to make you feel pampered! Even the basic pedicure you pick your scent in the foot bath, they use an oil treatment on your heals, and give you a back massage while sitting under the dryers! TRASH NAIL SALON!! Never go here, unless you want to spend hours for extremely poor quality nails. My nail tech had absolutely no clue what she was doing - when all I asked for was simple short acrylic nails. The end result was TERRIBLE. It looked nothing like what I asked for - the shape was a mess, the blending skills were atrocious, and the woman had no idea I speak fluent Spanish and could understand her asking her audible confusion as to what she was doing. It's simple - if the nail tech cannot do a skill, then she should voice that instead of continuing and doing a trash job. On top of this, the owner of the store had the audacity to charge almost $70 for a terrible service. What a joke. I gave the woman a tip, but looking back I wish I hadn't. The nails are a mess, she cut my skin, and the man in charge still had the audacity to over-charge me. This nail salon is pure idiocy. read more

Did not cut the corners or the cuticles when I mentioned a nail poking in the corner she said "we don't do that" half hearted on hand cream massage only on the front of my legs. So disgusted that I switched from a gel manicure to a reg and with someone else - no hand soak, had gel to be removed on a few fingers. Pushed my normally thick cuticles with an emery board and then put on base coat. I asked about them being cut and was told they don't need to be cut. I was over it at this point and then wanted to charge me an extra $7 to take off the gel- they ended up waiving it but also no cream or hand massage . read more

I was looking for a nail spot near by and stopped at Joy Nails because of their great reviews. I called at 9 am Saturday morning and they were able to fit me in for 9:30 so it was very easy to make an appointment. The staff was very sweet and friendly and I do like their nail color options, however, the gel manicure and pedicure themselves were not good. I think my pedicure lasted all of 25 minutes with it mostly being a massage and lotion. When I get a pedicure I want my feet to be actually taken care of. They barely cut my cuticles, shaped my nails, or took off any dead skin. It would be good if you were in a rush but I wasn't. Now as far as my gel manicure goes, it has been 6 days and 3 out of 5 nails on my right hand are chipped. I expect more for a $55 gel manicure and pedicure. read more

This place used to be 5 stars but has gone down for some reason in quality. I usually come in for a gel manicure and regular pedicure and today was horrible. Gel manicure came out perfect but the pedicure for almost the 3rd time in a row (by Ari) was awful! I have nail polish on my skin around my toes, my massage was literally 4 minutes (I timed it myself on my phone), and she never said ONE word to me not even hello how are you? Just a very rushed pedicure as if she always has somewhere to be. To top this she was always checking the timer and always checking her messages on her Apple Watch. Not professional and I'm not pleased with this pedicure. I suggested they re train. The last thing that really got me was that the one lady who did my manicure asked me if I was going to tip the person who did my pedicure. You NEVER ask a customer if they plan to tip. I think this place would be amazing if they spent better time training the people who work there to do a good quality job not just rush the job which people PAY for. read more

Made an appt with Maria, but was given someone else. No clue why. The manicurist was not good, rushing through. After drying, there wasn't a nail that was neat. I stood there for a good 3 minutes waiting to ask someone to fix....but no one seemed to want to turn their heads. So I approached another woman. She gave me the same manicurist. When I showed her the nails, she asked which ones? But absolutely all were sloppy. I pointed to a few. I then had to politely ask to please put base coat on entire nails?! Why should this be even asked? She then proceeded to add polish thinner to the polish - but this is precisely why the manicure doesn't last more then 2 days. The first time I went in for a gel fill in, they did such a great job. I was a little annoyed that the price board claimed a fill in was 35 but I was charged $50. Ok so I went back since she did take her time and do a nice job. On my third and final visit I discovered that I had a terrible fungus on one of my nails. I've been getting my nails done for ages and NEVER had it this bad. I got extremely annoyed when they claimed it was because I'd been to another salon. When I took out the member card and showed her it was my third appointment she went on to blame me for not coming in sooner. She guaranteed that it wouldn't happen if I come in every two weeks.
