Can't give a 4.5. Used them twice past 12 months. They were the only movers in my immediate area who would charge a minimum of 2 hours. I knew our unloading would only take two hours and it did. They responded same day when I inquired through their website. The estimate and details are clear in their response. The two men who helped me unload greeted me politely and noted the start time. They laid floor runners down and worked quick but carefully. I docked some points because when I asked them to help assemble a bed ( which I told the booker I needed help with) they gave me a look and asked me for tools. I tried to explain how to assemble (they did not speak English) and the lead brushed me away. At the end they figured it out but I thought they could have tried to let me help even if it was through hand waving. The second time I used them they were just as responsive setting up a date and time and quoting details. The two man crew was super polite and took care of the furniture and property. They laid floor runners and taped cardboard along walls. They were quick and careful and got done faster than I expected. Great crew. The language difference was not a barrier. Explain to the booker what you need, pack well and point. They also follow-up after your move to get your feedback. I would use them again. read more

Showed up 4 hours late to pack, which meant we had to frantically pack, while taking care of a baby, in order to make sure the move could happen on time. We did not speak their language (Mandarin), which meant that all communication had to happen via audio translation on a phone, important information was lost in translation and none of our boxes were labeled. Nothing on their site or in the contract or initial communication with the company indicated that the packers and movers can only communicate in Mandarin. Because the first packers arrived so late, the movers had to pack the remaining items and were jumbling things together in boxes without care, causing broken items and making it very difficult to find anything. We had to continually remind them that *everything* needed to be packed and they still didn't pack everything, forcing us to take extra trips back and forth between houses. They never asked for a complete inventory of items, which meant that they didn't have a truck big enough to handle the load and had to use 3 trucks and extra hours to make the move happen. Broke our table in several places and said nothing about it until we noticed and asked for reimbursement. They did reimburse us for the cost of the table and reduced their rate to $100/hr after we asked for compensation for the late start time. All this made an already stressful move much more stressful. We would have been better off packing ourselves and having friends help with the move for free! read more

I asked them to use a couch cover that I provided, but they said it was unnecessary since they would be using their own plastic wrap. When wrapping the couch, I asked them to wrap the leg ends too since I didn't want it to get damage, but the mover said that won't be necessary. Once we got to my apt, the legs of the couch were scratched. I understand that furnitures do get damaged during moves, and that is why I ask for protection. I didn't like how I was dismissed when I asked for my furnitures to be protected. Besides that, they worked hard and got the job done. read more

Had a wonderful experience using them as movers. Unlike most movers they had a 2 hour minimum and an empty truck fee but otherwise was very straight forward. They responded promptly to my emails and tried to give us estimates on when they would be arriving. Due to being in the other afternoon and other jobs they state they can't guarantee a start time. ZERO STAR!!! This company is totally a scam. Do NOT hire. First, I called to schedule my move (1 bedroom apt furniture) at least 3 weeks ahead requesting 2 movers and 1 truck. The owner estimated the job be completed for 3 hours. A week before my move, the owner called to ask to add an extra mover (additional $40 per hour). I was hesitant but the owner insisted 3 movers would be much more efficient. On the moving day, movers did arrive on time. However, 2 of 3 movers were not working efficiently and seemed not trained properly. They were complaining my furniture (solid wood, which I disclosed when booking the service) and boxes/crates were too heavy and procrastinating. A number of crates were flipped upside down when moving, which caused damage of stuff inside. Some of my furniture were not wrapped at all and got damaged. Dining table surface dented, bed frame scratched, dresser and media console chipped, etc... My furniture survived 3000+ miles cross-the-country move from Florida to Washington but could not survive a 5-mile move within the city... The move ended up taking 6 hours, because only one mover was really working the way movers are supposed to... He was the only person who was able to disassemble and re-assemble furniture, wrap furniture. The end results: the remote of my garage door stopped working and a number of scratches and dents were left behind in my new place. They did come back to fix the garage door and fill one hole on the wall, but refused to fix or compensate any furniture damage. Absolutely regret hiring them and do not recommend them for any heavy duty move. read more

It has taken me a month to assess this service that I was given. They are fast and will do great for a local apartment to apartment move. For my move to Alaska, I had them load a trailer in Kent to be put on the boat. They moved my furniture from their trailer to mine, but they did not stack floor to ceiling to condense space. I had to hire another moving company a couple of days later to do this to save me $4000 in costs (I was already in Alaska). Also, the cross bar to my dining room table went missing. Luckily it is metal and I don't really need it. If you are in this situation, please pay the extra $300 and hire someone who is trained to load cross country trailers to save yourself the headache of having a $7000 moving bill. The value was 100% there with these Chinese movers. They work really hard and efficiently packing wrapping and assembling. Low hourly and "empty truck" fee (basically flat upfront fee) compared to everyone else.
