What American Eagle Springfield does well is slash this assumed idea. They're prompt, organized, knowledgeable, and helpful. I worked at American Eagle for roughly three years, from 2013-2016. Through this time, I've seen changes in staff and morale, but the one thing that always came first was helping the customer, which they still prioritize. This was my first job and one I'm very thankful for. Problems were handled with respect and understanding, and management really pushed me to be the best I could be. I transformed from a timid high school student to a motivated young woman. After visiting other AEs and shopping at the one that is closest to me in Oklahoma City, I wish all American Eagles were as customer oriented as Springfield's. As a customer, only remembered by a few staff members now, I was approached by someone who developed a conversation about what I was there for. It's pretty rare to find a smiling face with the genuine want to help. We were able to style an outfit together, and I even asked her opinion on a shirt I picked out. It was nice that she didn't automatically tell me it looked good, but asked me why I thought it didn't look good. After discussing how the shirt felt, she suggested a different type, which I ended up buying. It was really nice, and an experience I've seen myself conducting a million times before. It's good consistency, and caring. Their clothing changes once/twice a month so you can always find something new. They offer good discounts, including one for military personnel. Their clearance ranks are steals because every item was once full price. Overall, I haven't had a bad experience here as a customer. They definitely put other American Eagles to shame.

Enter foot heaven aka Fleet feet. This franchise is well trusted, a family friend growing up on the west coast had a franchise and their a shoes and service were top of the line, the Nordstrom of sport shoes one might say. Even though it was a busy Saturday in knew a stop in Fleet feet would calm my frustration and help me learn how to stop having to rub angry feet at the end of the day. Wyatt helped us sign in and very quickly an angel named Mallory started to help us. We got a 3d scan of my kiddos feet, amazing insole suggestion and my kid smiled and stopped complaining about her feet ! It is a minor miracle ! Brick and mortar stores like this one are a gem, online can't do anything I witnessed in this store and I am done buying and returning Amazon mishaps. I think our whole family needs shoes from here and I will be telling everyone about how impressed I am with Mallory and Fleet feet.

This allowed my friends and family to help me choose dresses without having the consultant follow us around the entire time. It made the experience very relaxed and personal. I had the pleasure of working with Brooklyn and she was absolutely wonderful. She was so sweet and had a positive upbeat attitude that made the entire experience exciting and enjoyable. I never once felt pressured to buy anything which I really appreciated. She was also happy to give me her honest opinion on some of the dresses I tried, and I valued her input. What stood out the most was that if I didn't like something about a dress Brooklyn understood why instead of trying to convince me to like it or push a sale. She really listened to what I wanted and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Overall, I had such a great experience! I was able to find my dress and I truly felt comfortable, welcomed and beautiful throughout the whole appointment. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone that is looking for a wedding dress and especially recommend working with Brooklyn!

I'm a customer for life! There is an entire section of women's wide width shoes. An entire section…read morepeople!! It's a fact my feet are so wide that I normally get my sneakers in the men's section at Academy because the women's wide with shoes are just not wide enough. For some reason they give them in more room in the tow box I guess because their toes are bigger? LOL! I found so many cute shoes and all were buy one get one half off. The clearance section also had an abundance of options so I walked out with three gorgeous new pair of athletic shoes and I couldn't be happier with the value and the selection. Customer service was also top-notch and the cashier let me know by signing up for emails I would get an additional 10% off!! Bonus!! I also will give customer service bonus points because there was a sign on the front door saying that the restroom was out of order. I mentioned to the girl that greeted me when I walked in that that was a bummer because I kind of needed to go and she took me back to the employee restroom. How kind!

I walked in and described the strapless leotard I was needing. She showed me a style, but it had straps. I reiterated I needed one without straps. She said I could use clear straps and they wouldn't be seen on stage. Once again, I told her that wouldn't work and I need something completely strapless. I thanked her for her help and as I turned to leave she scoffed "well, a REAL dancer would never be caught dead in a strapless leotard. We would NEVER carry such a thing." To which I replied, "this isn't for dance; it's for a Halloween costume, but thank you for insinuating I'm not a quality dancer." Incredibly rude lady. Also, for future reference to the shop owner(s) : people go to more than just costume shops for Halloween supplies.
