BEST BREAKFAST SANDWICH IN EDMONTON. This place has the most amazing breakfast sandwich I have ever eaten. Literally melts in your mouth.

Ordered the grilled sandwich with gravlox and cream cheese. I think the menu or server said they make their own gravlox. Sandwich was pretty good. Ultimately, I would have to saying works better as a bagel. The soup of the day was great. And they understand a soup and sandwich lunch. Many places I have been sell a sandwich with a side and a soup separately. Sobyouborder a soup and sandwich and get a pile of fries you were not expecting. So it ends up toooo much. Finally someone gets it.

Helped seat us right away, got a high chair for our little one and directed us to the self serve water and coffee station. Which my kid loves being a server and getting everyone at the table waters (and making sure they were always full). The food was all amazingly presented and came out in good time considering how busy it was. We all loved the food and the plates were licked clean! The Breakfast Bowl was probably the best one- super filling and loved the variety. Having the whole thing baked just tastes like happy belly food. We also ordered the Crepe with Whipped cream - in the menu it says the bananas come with chocolate sauce but they were so nice when our kids asked for strawberries and chocolate sauce right away they said no problem and did it for us. I love the no hassle feeling with a small change. We also ordered a side of bangers and they were tasty but a little peppery for the kids (who are just fussy about their sausage but everyone else enjoyed them). The Gravlax Benedict was also ordered and super well enjoyed with the substitution for Latkes, highly recommended! Street parking here can be a little tricky but if you're willing to walk a bit it's not bad. Gender neutral washrooms, with pretty cool art too.

We got a couple of things: an Almond Croissant, Bulgogi Poutine, a Lavender London Fog with oat milk, and a Peppermint Mocha with oat milk. My Almond Croissant was okay. I know almond croissants are made with leftover pastries, but there was no texture at all. It just fell flat, and lookswise it was physically flat as well lol. It was alright. I wouldn't get the almond croissant again. The Bulgogi Poutine was pretty good. The fries were delicious and crispy. The sauce on top of the fries was slightly sweet, salty, and savory. For me, the bulgogi could've been more flavorful and it didn't taste fresh but I liked the overall dish. Lastly, the Peppermint Mocha was alright. It wasn't spectacular. And I felt the same way about my Lavender London Fog with oat milk. I wish there was more depth in my drink. I think the tea could've been steeped a little longer. Flavor was there in my drink, but it wasn't strong enough. It was slightly disappointing since I've had amazing London Fogs before, and this one just wasn't up to par. Also my drink was slightly warm, not too far off from lukewarm. I feel like the price doesn't exactly correlate with quality for most things here. If we come back here, I'd be willing to try different things and pastries. But I don't think my rating would change much.

Everything is amazing. Just as a heads up, though - be prepared to pay for this excellent food. Between my friend and I the bill for the both of us was $148 plus tip. It's not cheap but if you're prepared to pay It's totally worth it.

Came here for Classical Guitar night. No admission fee so it was a "tip-at-the-end-of-your-meal" in an envelope. So bring cash! Or the waitress can charge your credit card but she will ask you to tell her the extract amount you wish to tip which makes me uncomfortable. I got the Veggie Burger $21.95 with side of bean and corn soup (their main soup). Soup was better than expected if you like beans. Tastes as you would expect. Burger - bottom bun was quite soggy, slaw was very nice. Patty was more mush and just squishes out of the bun. Decent flavor but would have liked it crisper and more solid. They provide Mango Habanero hot sauce which is really cool. Friend got the Bison Burger on Gluten-free bread. She was happy with her burger. I thought it looked funny on a slice of bread instead of a bun. She loved the salad too. My friend tried the grapefruit gelato and said it was fine. I got the Peach Bourbon pie advertised on the "today special" board. Good pie. Good solid crust, peaches inside were tasty, weird jelly filling but wasn't so bad. Not too sweet. Nice ice cream but very small portion. Kicker was the price. $14.50!!! To me that is ridiculous as I can but a WHOLE homemade pie from the farmers market for $25 and this was At Most a quarter of a pie. DISAPPOINTED. Overall Lovely spot to watch a live show, decent food if not overpriced.
