Let me start by saying a third grader could have done a better job making the yearbook for Haywood Early college. I paid extra to have my son's name and four accolades put on the front bottom of his yearbook. His name and the accolades are not only on the back of the yearbook but it's not even straight, his name and the accolades are all crooked. I contacted Jostins about this and the guy I spoke to did not seem to care at all, and when he was talking to me I could hear somebody listening and laughing in the background which is about as unprofessional as you can be. I have emailed the company four times with absolutely no response from jostens at all. I would not recommend this company or its products to anyone as they have no oversight or quality control in the production, or maybe they just don't care. UNBELIEVABLY BAD COMPANY - POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I purchased my sons class ring on Feb 26, 2020. After not hearing from Jostens for a couple of weeks I called them and was told that they wouldn't even start making the ring until it was completely paid for. So much for the great payment plan they offer - WORTHLESS. So I immediately paid the balance on the ring and was told that the shipping date would be around the 4th of April. When I called this morning I was notified that the plant was closed because of Covid-19 and was planned to open again on May 5 and my sons ring would continue to be made then. I understand closing for Covid-19, however, my sons ring was supposed to ship before all of the Covid-19 shutdowns. Jostens customer lack-of-service, is incredible, not one email from them stating anything about a delay. Their agents are not helpful, understanding, or compassionate at all. My son is not going to have a prom, not going to have a graduation, and now not going to get his class ring before he deploys to the Army at the end of June. Our school decided to go through Jostens to order our caps and gowns for graduation. I waited to open the box since we were unsure if my program would have a graduation ceremony due to all of the closures. We now plan to have an online ceremony so I went ahead and opened the package. My first reaction was one of shock due to the extremely poor fabric quality. Not sure if you can even call it fabric! To top it off, I was sent the incorrect size. I contacted them through email and after a week of not hearing back, I decided to call. I sat on hold for well over an hour twice and well over 2 hours a third time trying to get in contact with someone in customer service. This is absolutely unacceptable!! I understand that the volume of calls and emails from customers is likely high right now due to graduations being canceled. With that being said, if you had sent the correct gown in the first place, I would have never needed to call. To say this has been disappointing is an understatement. When your callback message said that you value me as a consumer I now find that very hard to believe. My daughter is graduating from med school in two days and has yet to receive her robes! When she talked to a customer service representative, he did not help in any way. They only gave her the option to fill out a review form. Basically gave her the same information that she retrieved from tracking the shipping number. worst company ever. This year they didn't even show up for our school picture day. They then 'lost' the whole school's pictures from the makeup day. They then told us all we needed to take retakes without seeing our first photos. Myself and many other parents have contacted the school board to have them find a new company. Worst costumer service. I have called 4 times now and I am still waiting from an order I canceled an Jan 11th. It's been 17 days and still no refund and costumer service keeps telling me that it should be refund any day now. First I was told 7-10 days and then I was told 15 days and my last call was 3-5 days....and still nothing yet. My total was $78 that I canceled. I explain to them that I still needed to order a yearbook and why couldn't my account be credited and they said we don't do it like that but 17 days later and I'm still waiting on my refund. My son is a senior, class of 2020, we ordered graduation announcements many months ago. Jostens, knowing the situation, likely no graduation for this senior class, printed the announcements with the intended date anyway. One would think since this company is geared towards high schools and seniors in particular there would have been some compassion towards the extenuating circumstances this class is/has faced. At least the wording on the announcement could have been changed or printed without a date. I received my order - 11 announcements short of what I ordered and nothing to recognize the heartbreaking situation for our seniors are facing. read more

In a time where every penny counts, and after receiving a plethora of 30% off on merchandise, and $40 off jewelry order emails every week!... When reaching out to see if there was any possible way to apply any of the available discounts to items that were ordered just prior to the pandemic, I am met with rude telephone customer service, followed by a curt email reiterating that no discounts or offers of any kind can be applied to current orders. And the jewelry and announcement merchandise will be held until balances are paid in full. So, with a senior already missing out on an insurmountable level of activities after four years of dedication, with a bill of almost $900 during a time where people have all of a sudden found themselves in a position where they are concerned with keeping a roof over their head, and food on their table, your company is unable to offer even the most minute amount of assistance or any options simply because my order has already been placed! The compassion and concern for your customers is astounding, congratulations on your ability to maintain your profitability and offering a dehumanizing level of service. I'd cancel my orders, but I'm fairly certain you'd be more than happy to keep my deposits and sue me for the balance on the account. read more

At the last minute they postponed picture day a whole month. Parents already paid good money for new haircuts and now they'd have to do it all over again. No apology or aknowlegment of inconvenience. Ordered a class tag for my son for Christmas at the beginning of November, was told it would be here by Christmas. At thanksgiving i received a call to verify my order and was told it would be 4-6 weeks from that call before we would receive it. Well we didn't get it by Christmas but we did receive an invoice for 47.56. we had payed for it in full at the time of ordering it in November. I called they zeroed out the balance and said again it would be 4-6 weeks from the time of that call. it is now late January and I just received another bill!!! Jostens was to do warranty repair work on my college ring: specifically they were to replace the stone and size it down. They only repaired the stone. My ring was received by Jostens on March 9, 2020 and it needed the stone replaced and to be sized down. It was returned to me in mid-May with the stone replaced but NOT resized. So, I sent it back per their rep. the day after I got it. The order acknowledgement indicated that I would receive it during the week of August 1, 2020. That was TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE since Jostens had my ring since March and someone on their end didn't do what they were supposed to do. So, I spoke with two other reps on June 10, 2020, told them that, and they said they would put in a request to expedite the work. Seems to me that since someone on their end messed up my original order and didn't do what they were supposed to do my ring should have gone to the very front of the warranty repair line and sent back to me no later than the end of June. But I still don't have it on August 4th. When I called they said that they were waiting for the stone to be replaced - again. Seems that they could have ordered that the day they told me to send the ring back. No one in the warranty department has done what they said they would do: from calling me back when they said they would, submitting a second request to expedite my order, or having the supervisor call me! The only thing they did was submit the first request to expedite my repair. Straight to the point is I was told my sons ring would be delivered by UPS in 4-6 weeks. Went I did not get my confirmation email, nor did the charge go through on my bank account after a week I called them. Now they are saying it takes 2-3 weeks ( if not longer) to get the paperwork to Minnesota where they are actually located. Then after they received the paperwork it can take another 4-6 weeks for them to complete the ring and ship it!!! I flat said this was BS and stated I was flat lied to and the business ethics of this company are atrocious!! They should get it done in accordance to what I was told.. Of course they do not see it that way.. they got the $1000 so what do they care.. For the sake of my son I am hoping the pull themselves together and think of what it means to him.. This on top of having to pay the shipping of the "free" cap and gown which I have a receipt showing I paid $65.05. They stated they had to charge me for it and then take it off the cost of the ring.. However, the only receipt I have for the ring is a little card size paper with no detail, just the total. Amazing work ethics again guys!!! Incredible ripoff! Package C at ACP- Erie, Cap and Gown with tassel - $60.85. On their own - had I seen the small print cap and gown, not under clothing - but under senior items (everything is senior items!) - is $28.95. Highest tassel price - $15.95. How do you take $29 + $16 and package price it to $61? Super sales pitches to kids, not appropriate use of school time. If I was the school's decision maker, this company would be tossed out so fast! This blatant ripoff of parents just should not be allowed! They are probably laughing all the way to the bank! Worst company you will ever have the displeasure of dealing with! Ordered my sons cap & gown was assured it would be delivered on time it was NOT! In fact didn't get it until over a week AFTER Graduation! Their "customer service" is a JOKE, the supervisors are as uninformative as the reps are. Called in 5/29 was told my order would be refunded it is now 6/6 and STILL no refund. They blame the bank yet the bank has never received a refund as my bank does not place holds on refunds. Do yourself and child the favor of going elsewhere. Unless you want their day ruined because that is what Jostens is known for... they create lasting memories but sadly no good ones! UPDATE: 6/6/19 Contacted customer service again, still no refund. I'm now being told that it can take 5-10 business days from the time a refund is approved! This meaning 30 days for a refund! I work for a school that shall remain nameless. While arranging our grad list, I see the list of our graduates and then their height and WEIGHT listed for their cap and gown from Jostens. Talk about being in Gym class all over again! Not only is this a completely inaccurate way to determine someone's size, it is a humiliating and unnecessary practice. A man who is a body builder and weighs 250 would not wear the same size as a man who weighed the same. No two women at the same weight and height will wear the same size. This practice of asking for a teenagers weight in order to have a cap and gown is absolutely ridiculous! Finding a person's measurements is far more accurate and less stressful for a young person. It's a non-fitted clothing item similar to a bed sheet! The fact that this is a normal practice by Jostens just proves how out of touch they are with todays youth AND the world at large. No student should be forced to report their weight to the teacher. Please consider removing this practice. read more

UPDATE: my daughter finally got her ring after a long wait. She has worn it twice. It has turned black and has purplish color in it. I'm sure if you buy plain silver it's fine. The gold alternative the sell is HORRIBLE. I did some research on sterling silver rings and 600 bucks for a fake gold plated sterling ring is a horrible price. Just know you can get class rings elsewhere so shop around. I didn't figure this out until it was too late. I asked to return it and they refused and told me I could pay to send it to them to clean it. That makes so much sense to do every few months. So stupid and really shady. I ordered the graduation package and a hoody in January. Received everything but the announcements. I wasn't concerned because online it said they would be delivered to the school and the school would notify us. I waited and waited and there was no notification. the end of April i started making phone calls...told to wait. Delays in shipping. Come May and After 5 phone calls I finally find out they should have been delivered with our original package. The rep tried to find extras she could give us, but to no avail. She said she ordered some for us and they would be expedited to use. It has been 3 weeks and still nothing. I now have 12 days until graduation day and we have not been able to send them to family. More than disappointed. With such bad reviews I don't understand why schools still use this company. read more

I told the rep at Jostens that I would be taking my frustrations to Yelp, there was no reaction and now I see why......every single review is negative....here comes mine: My daughter lost her tassel in the chaos of her graduation day. The following day, I went to the Jostens website and found what I believed to be the correct tassel. I copied the link and emailed it to a rep to confirm that it was in fact the correct tassel. JOSHUA confirmed with the following reply "The Souvenir Tassel is the correct tassel for the cap and gown order that is used during graduation" so I ordered it. When the package arrived, my daughter ripped it open only to discover that this was not the tassel she had lost. I followed up my email with another and was told that I ordered the wrong tassel. At this point I decided a phone call might be more effective. NOPE. I called and spoke with a gal who told me to visit my local office as they might have extra tassels there. I was given a street address and told that they are only open M-F, 10am-5pm. Since I work M-F, 8am-5pm I had to take off early one day to drive the 15 miles (one way) to their office....only to discover that they are CLOSED for the summer, reopening August 5th. When I got home, having had plenty of time to cool off, I emailed Jostens once again. This time I received a reply from JESSICA that said "According to our records, you have already spoken with a customer service representative regarding this tassel. As advised, you may wish to take to the representatives office to see if he has one you can exchange this with". At this point I told my daughter she is stuck with the wrong tassel as I absolutely cannot deal with this business anymore. It was then stolen in transit. I contacted them and they said they saw it had been stolen and yet didn't tell me or send me anything about it. They said they'd remake it and send it to me within 6 weeks. That was in the beginning of April. I just called today, June 8, and she said that it wouldn't be ready for another 3 weeks. I also tried looking online to see my order status and the website didn't work. The rep said there wasn't anything she could do. I've been waiting over 2-2.5 months for my college ring and am now moving to a different state which means it will then have to be shipped from home to wherever I am living. Very poor customer service. I received e-mails indicating that they would be at my daughters' school on a certain date to deliver the merchandise that we ordered (close to $300.00), however, no one was there on that date. I e-mailed their customer service and they indicated that they were there, when in fact they were not. They just this week were at the school to provide the ordered merchandise, but I never received any sort of notification for this date. Additionally, they did not have two of the items that my daughter ordered, and forced us to take substitutions. They were curt and rude, and told my Senior to take what they provided as a substitution, or wait for a refund. My sister ordered a band from Jostens before Thanksgiving. Everyone else's rings and bands have come in (she ordered at the same time as the rest of her class), but my sister didn't receive hers. We've attempted to contact Jostens and were given the runaround . . . multiple times. The order was received, for Jostens took the money from our accounts right away. However, we are now heading into January, and the ring is still unaccounted for. Last year, we ordered another band, and everything went smoothly. The announcements were printed on copy paper folded into four and print so small you needed a magnifying glass to read it. Also, did not contain my sons name as they assured me it would!
