No reasoning with them either, they just said oh well management is charging you. AVOID THIS HOTEL**** Work brought me to Lancaster and got to stay at this hotel for 14 nights and I must say that location is the best part of this hotel. The second best thing is how modern and new this hotel is. It was defenitly better than what I expected. Plus, there's a Starbucks right next door which is a major plus. Reasonable price for all the amenities you recieve. Rooms are super nice and spacious. Loved the full kitchen and how everything was designed/set up. Bathroom was super spacious. The bed was super comfortable. Only negative thing is they charge $10 a night for parking yet my employee's Honda got broken into and they tried stealing it with "security" patrolling the lot. Thankfully the thief couldn't start the car. No cameras apperently in parking lot either. That's really the only negative of this place.

When we arrived in the room, it was a little warm, being that it was such a hot day. I wish we would have walked into a cooler room, but we quickly changed that. I noticed two minor dents in the wall and on the bathroom door corner. I immediately took pictures. Overall, the room was super clean. The mini kitchen was adorable. I have one little issue and that is the bed. The mattress where I laid was really sunken in and to me was not comfortable. It was a nice location and we felt safe. Would definitely recommend staying here.

It's called "States" it's huge weekends for softball players. The best of the best come out from different cities to compete. Our city alone brought about 80 people here. Players, siblings, grandparents, parents. 22-24 different families. Only 2 families had their personal issues here, and those odds are not bad! The kids LOVED it here! I'm sorry you are not gonna get peace and quiet until about 1030-11pm. Kids were playing hide and seek, ding dong ditch. It's annoying for the moment, but when are kids gonna make those memories. They play their heart out all day and deserve it. So chill out! The food was great! Unlimited waffles are huge with the kids. As far as breakfast, just be nice and go to the front desk, and they'll accommodate you another ticket. They have burritos to go for all the early birds, toast, oatmeal, and cereal. 3-4 self-serve juices. They give complimentary drinks 1 per person. A small bar area! Yes, the pool is crowded, but if they were to try to crowd control!! Imagine how many people would be pissed! The only ones that ruin it are the drinking adults that can't control themselves. They have 2 bbqs, propane filled and ready to use. Restrooms and tvs in dining area. If you're worried about noise stay away from 1st floor and balcony rooms.

Let's get into it. Property itself, as I said is very nice inside, updated and clean. No fee for parking each night and it comes with a free breakfast, which is always a great thing. The rooms are also nice, updated, not huge, but plenty of space, they have a fridge and coffee maker. Very comfortable, but also probably the main reason for the 3 stars. The bed was comfortable, but as I was sleeping, I started to itch a bit and then after my stay I was very itchy for a few days. Not sure what the deal was, but not a good thing. I washed all my bedsheets at home and showered a number of times to ensure whatever was in the bed was not with me any longer. As I said, I think after 2-3 days the itching was over and back to normal. Too bad, as I enjoyed my stay otherwise. The staff here was very friendly and the also had a small indoor pool and a small gym. These two things were great, but also contributed to my one less star, the pool looked nice, but looked to be due for a cleaning. The gym was great, everything I need, but only one bench and no multifunction weight machine, which is a downer. As I said, love Hilton, staff was great, free breakfast, free parking, nice rooms, great looking property, pool and gym. But the itching spell I had after prevented me from rating this one higher, that combined with the gym also brought it down just a bit as well. Gym part is pretty minor though. I am sorry I cannot give them a higher rating this go around, enjoy!

From the moment we arrived, everything felt clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We loved that parking was free (huge plus during a busy travel weekend!), and the room itself was surprisingly spacious -- perfect for a family who comes with plenty of bags and snacks. The beds were comfy, the space was quiet, and we all got a great night's rest. Breakfast the next morning was also complimentary and had a solid variety of options to get us fueled up before hitting the road again. Super convenient and stress-free. We had scoped out the Fairfield Inn last time we drove through in May, and decided it was worth a try. We made a reservation on the drive there, as the last time I called, they didn't properly put the reservation through. We were able to get a room with two queen sized beds for comfort, and it was the handicapped room, which is often available when nothing else is. We had been warned about the $50. parking fee, which is pretty bogus, since there is ample parking there. We checked in easily at the front desk, the staff were very friendly. I was having a mobility issue, so I had to sit whenever possible and the front lobby had comfortable chairs. The front lobby was clean and spacious, but the decor was subpar. It couldn't make up its mind between desert and modernism. The color scheme was kind of 80's orange wood, with yellowy chairs and coral accents. The other oddity was that the faux fire was never lit the entire time we were there. It would have added a note of warmth to the room. A major glitch was that the key to our room would not work. This was a handicapped room, located at the very end of a loooong hallway. I sat on the floor while the hotel maid let us in with her master key. We unloaded in a large clean room, and he returned downstairs for a new key, which also did not work. We decided to stay in the room until dinner, and try another key on the way back in. I had searched YELP for restaurants, but most of the ones I would be interested in were closed on Sundays, so we asked at the front desk. The very helpful staff suggested Don Perico's Restaurant, so off we went. There is a small refrigerator in the room, so we were able to save out dinner meal leftovers. When we returned, the key finally worked, and we settled down. We were on the second floor, and could hear a lot of noise on the third floor, with kids running around. The other caveat is that the TV selection is pretty limited, but I got their WiFi to work, and watched streaming shows. Again, the bathroom and room decor are very grey and institutional looking, more like a conference hotel than a vacation spot. I got up super early and went to the breakfast area, and it was the highlight of the stay. There were huge carafes of Starbuck's coffee as well as real cream, and Coffee mate Creamer. There was also a large selection of healthy breakfast choices like oatmeal with a bunch of toppings, packaged yogurt, and bagels. In hot chafing dishes with scrambled eggs and bacon, and packaged croissant breakfast sandwiches. I had a few cups of coffee ( I added chocolate chips to make it mocha) and yogurt, while my husband chowed down on the eggs, and bacon with added toast. The breakfast room is large, so many families were partaking of the breakfast. There is a sweet view of the mountains behind the hotel from the breakfast area. Checkout was fast and easy as we had prepaid (a necessity) and we were able to pullup the car right in front and we were on our way!!!

And this was my fourth visit. I use this hotel because they have a jacuzzi room. Yes you read that right a room with a large jacuzzi that sits two over sized people easily! Bring your Epsom salts maybe a bath bomb if it isn't a sudsy type as they'll bubble up too much with any type of bubble bath. Sit as long as your can handle without shriveling up and I can guarantee you'll feel like a whole new person the next day! The shower isn't anything to boast about. As anyone who reads my reviews knows I hate standard fixed shower heads in hotels it makes them feel old and like the Bates Motel to me. So they lost a star for that but the water can be tempered to those of us that love super hot showers. There is a hairdryer connected to wall. I didn't notice if it's locked down or if you can use it say at the desk to sit comfortably while drying, but it's there nevertheless. This room includes a king sized bed that's comfortable. Not the most comfortable ever, but it does allow you to get in a good slumber. They have a few movie channels on the tube and you can plug in your own hdmi device. The hotel offer breakfast from 6-9AM daily. I wish hotels would adopt a 6-11AM attitude. Some people are actually on vacation and would like to get dressed then come down and eat as they leave for their adventure's of the day. It can interrupt the flow having to go down grab food as you have to get dressed to leave your room. But that's just my lil opinion. But I'd say if your in Cal City and looking for an overnight. If in CAL City, I do recommend this Best Western.
