I have been traveling more for work and have been staying at many Hilton properties for work. This property from the website looks very nice and it also got better than average reviews, I did enjoy my stay here and would have given it actually five stars, but I had to take a couple off. Let's get into it. Property itself, as I said is very nice inside, updated and clean. No fee for parking each night and it comes with a free breakfast, which is always a great thing. The rooms are also nice, updated, not huge, but plenty of space, they have a fridge and coffee maker. Very comfortable, but also probably the main reason for the 3 stars. The bed was comfortable, but as I was sleeping, I started to itch a bit and then after my stay I was very itchy for a few days. Not sure what the deal was, but not a good thing. I washed all my bedsheets at home and showered a number of times to ensure whatever was in the bed was not with me any longer. As I said, I think after 2-3 days the itching was over and back to normal. Too bad, as I enjoyed my stay otherwise. The staff here was very friendly and the also had a small indoor pool and a small gym. These two things were great, but also contributed to my one less star, the pool looked nice, but looked to be due for a cleaning. The gym was great, everything I need, but only one bench and no multifunction weight machine, which is a downer. As I said, love Hilton, staff was great, free breakfast, free parking, nice rooms, great looking property, pool and gym. But the itching spell I had after prevented me from rating this one higher, that combined with the gym also brought it down just a bit as well. Gym part is pretty minor though. I am sorry I cannot give them a higher rating this go around, enjoy! read more

Stayed there on a Monday night. At first I thought nice and normal hotel. In the morning there was a cockroach in the bathroom. More importantly, I noticed all the new groupings of little red bites all over me because I was itchy all over. 3 on my ankle, 4 on my shoulder, 2 armpit, 5-6 on back, 5 back of leg behind knee, and probably more I missed. Either my room had bed bugs or fleas not sure. Pretty lame for 250 a night. What I don't get is all the great reviews I read before coming here, has no one else had this from them?? read more

Had reservations. Friend of ours got there early. Jose at the front desk told her she can wait in the lobby. Showed her the refreshments. Made her feel comfortable. Got name on reservations. Made suretoom was ready by the time we got there. When we got there, Jose checked us in. Very personable. Felt like a friend. Was a pleasure to check in. Will definitely stay there again. Stopped here overnight on my way to Southern California. It's conveniently located right off I-5. Safe and clean area. My room was very clean and the AC was on when I arrived which was nice because it was hot out. The only reason I docked it a star is there really isn't any where to walk a dog to potty. A small patch of grass is available out front. And the lobby and hallway smelled like sulfur and rotten eggs. Otherwise it was a great stay over. read more

Arrived late Saturday afternoon. The reception was very nice and quick to register for the room. Two double beds in a very nice size room and bathroom. Plenty of parking and an indoor pool for the kids! There is breakfast in the morning. Great job, Hampton Inn!! read more

Location is good right off the freeway if on the road. Shops and restaurants close by. Service and cleanliness were decent. Decor of the room was a little odd but not a deterrent. Cons: Air conditioning was right next to my bed and very unpleasant. I hate hotel bathrooms w sliding doors with no lock and cracks on the side with zero privacy. It's your standard business hotel. Nice, clean room, decent breakfast. Close to other food options and shopping if that's what you want.

My review is of the lobby and bathroom only. We made a quick put stop here on the way up to sequoia. We grabbed a snack from their little market, sat in the business area, and used the restroom. The snacks and seating were plentiful and the bathrooms were clean. read more

I have stayed at many Hampton Inns and I am a Hilton Honors member but I will not stay here again. The location is convenient but that is all it has going for it. There was no one at the front desk the entire time and it was a Friday night no one to offer me a free water or a snack that I am usually offered. Very few choices at the concession area. I am used to a much larger variety. The room is sparse. Most of the Hampton Inns have the options to watch Netflix and YouTube if you have an account this was does not. It didn't feel much nicer than a glorified Motel 6. I was disappointed. read more

Good experience staying here for a night. Clean room, plenty of outlets, digital key made it easy to check in and use my cellphone to unlock the room. So easy! Also they provided tons of towels which was fantastic! No scrimping here. Parking was also easy and plentiful. Only complaint is the lack of garbage cans. There were only two in the room and they were tiny. read more

The rates are low. But so is the quality. I got a room with 2 beds, thankfully, because the bed closest to the bathroom had not been changed. There was long brown hairs, some stains on the bottom sheet and a sock near the foot of the bed, nestled in the sheets. I did not even shower there as I didn't want to use the towels. Lastly, the breakfast was so meager. I would MAYBE call it continental, but nothing more. Some pre wrapped rolls, coffee, and a bit more but not any kind of fruit whatsoever. Overall I was super disappointed. I had stayed here in the past but it's been a few years. So enchanting back then and just a hot mess now. read more

This is a most wonderfully CLEAN, comfortable and safe hotel at the north foot of the Grapevine. The weather can be very warm so the air conditioned rooms are an oasis. The bed is big, clean, and comfortable. The room is a perfect size and has a nice TV, mini fridge, and fabulous shower. The breakfast is really top quality---REAL oatmeal (not lame packets), fresh fruit, and all the cold orange juice you can drink. The young, brunette front desk check-in woman was especially kind and welcoming. She was very personable and made the stay seem like it was a boutique hotel instead of faceless corporate behemoth. Easy, close parking. Tons of food/gas/electric chargers right across the freeway. I slept like a rock and overall I would give it a 10/10. This place is doing something right for sure---its a guaranteed good night while away from home. read more

"Excellent Room, Tasty Breakfast, Friendly Staff-- but Don't Steal any Towels!" At the start of our vacation, we stayed at the Microtel across the street. Then, on the way back, we stayed here. It's a big difference, and Hampton Inn wins hands down. We paid $10 more for Hampton Inn, and it was definitely worth it. Our room was large and well-equipped, with excellent counter space in the bathroom. Normally, my wife and me fight over counter space, so this was a pleasant change. The room was well appointed, with a big overstuffed chair and ottoman. We reserved a handicap accessible room which had the special shower equipment. Everything worked fine. There are multiple places to plug in your electronic chargers. This was good, because I like to check Yelp every 5 minutes. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The dining room is large, modern, and cheerful. I had a cheese and ham omelette with sausage on the side. Lots of yogurt, fruit, and pastries as well. Of course, they have the requisite waffle makers as well. In the lobby, they have a good selection of snacks and sodas. This is really convenient. Alas, no beer. I would give them an extra star if they had beer. Be sure to check out the modern fitness center. They have several aerobic machines, a big set of free weights, towels, and a TV. The pool is right next door, and also has towels, plus a restroom. If you need to do laundry, they have a modern facility with Speed Queen washers and dryers. A dollar fifty and $1.75. I almost wish I had some laundry to do! Just a few nits: 1) They charge a $25 deposit. I found this annoying, but I guess it keeps people from stealing the towels. (We hardly ever steal hotel towels, and one wouldn't want to lose their deposit.) 2) Our AC unit made a whining sound after a few hours. Despite these few minor annoyances, I thought this was an excellent choice and a good deal. read more

Super duper clean! There's a seal on the door with a QR code to show you just how Lysol clean the room is! The remote control is put in a plastic bag for you, too! Courteous staff!! Also, the grab and go breakfast is just right! Fruit, eggs, bagel, yogurt, and a water bottle are offered to you in a super safe and clean manner. We had a great stay at this Inn. Very clean, quiet, and tidy. The property looks fairly new, so everything worked and looked fresh. I was able to check-in through the Hilton app, which allowed me to pick my room, and it also had a digital key to walk right up to our room - although I did speak with the front desk to get an extra key. Breakfast was extensive, but the quality was what you would expect for a free breakfast. Overall, we will likely stay here again if we need something in the area. read more

So this is extremley troubling. We found some (camera sized) holes in the ceiling above the shower...and only above the shower. I tried emailing the hotel, and emailing hilton corporate via hilton honors but in 5 days never got a reply. I didn't want to contact the hotel directly for fear of collusion and having someone involved be the one that took the report and them covering it up; but eventually I tried calling the hotel directly to speak to a manager and left a message..but no reply yet. My next move is to call the local sheriffs station and ask them to investiage. You'll see in the photos the holes were suspiciously placed just above the shower, and only above the shower. Poor workmanship? perhaps, but it seems very suspicious. The holes we just big enough to stick a q-tip in.... I would not suggest staying at this hotel based on the holes above the shower and the lack of response. read more

Stopped by here on my way to SLO form graduation event and was not disappointed. Just needed a place to crash and recover and this hit the spot. Parking lot was very well lit and super clean. Arrived super late via the Hilton app, was greeted by front desk and went straight to my room. Room was king bed and was actually better then the Higher end Double tree that I stay in DTLA a few weeks ago. Room was super clean and spacious and had nice sofa to chill on. AC worked great and got nice and cold, perfect for the heat in this area. Overa all hotel was super clean and there was a lot of areas to eat nearby, even though I didn't stop at any of them, still like the variety of options. I would definitely stay here again if I am in the area, My on,y gripe,was that fridge in the room did Not work. I put some water bottles inside and next day they were still warm. Other then that great place to chill catch up on some sleep and relax off the road. read more

My family has stayed here during trips up and down the state for a few years. It is dog friendly, clean, staff are great, location is nice (safe and secure, walking distance to restaurants and a huge shopping center). Recently Hilton lets you select a room and check in virtually, which has been really great. We appreciate being able to select an accessible room as one of our family member is handicapped. A couple of times when we stayed there, the room reservation cost that we booked online was different then the one the front desk reception would try to charge us. We would have to show them our online reservation receipt to resolve the issue. Hopefully this was a software problem but just make sure to save your receipt if you book online. read more

We decided to stay the night on the drive back home from Northern California, as we were concerned about conditions on the grapevine. Check-in was smooth and the employees were all awesome!! Rooms were clean and modern. When I got home and was unpacking, I noticed that I was missing a very expensive pair of shoes. I tore part my house looking for them, and, as last resort, I called the Hampton to see if I left them there. I was pretty sure I had packed everything. I got a very nice employee on the line (Elizabeth) and she checked right away for me. I was shocked and thrilled thatThey ended up having them! The process in getting them back to me could not have been smoother. I immediately purchased a label and sent it to them and they shipped them out that very day. Elizabeth and the housekeepers are honest, professional employees, and in my opinion, they deserve a raise. Unfortunately I am forgetful person and this isn't the first time I have left something behind. So, I can speak from experience when I say getting personal belongings back isn't so easy from hotels, car rental places, etc! So happy to have my shoes back :)!! read more

Clearly a newer hotel, most everything was in good condition. A/C was noisy though. Breakfast was the usual Hampton Inn setup, with make it yourself waffles, plus scrambled eggs, oatmeal, bacon and potatoes. The indoor pool looked great but was freezing cold. My stay was August 29, 2024. I have stayed here several times in the past. Front desk staff were so, so, but did their jobs. My room and public areas were clean and pleasant. Great breakfast Lots of parking. Tesla Superchargers are nearby. The Black Bear Diner is a short distance away and its a good place to eat. One oddity is that the TV's are not opposite the bed but on an adjacent wall. I'll stay here again. read more

Modern hotel with all the necessities and then some. Check in was easy. We arrived late for our reservation but staff was available. The lobby has luggage carts, lots of seating that doubles as a bar area and dining room for the included breakfast. Room itself was modern and clean. I liked the walk-in shower and loveseat. The pillows were too soft so I called for extra, but the person who answered said she'd check to see if they had any and call back... the call never came, so it seems they ran out of pillows (this was a Wednesday night). My mom was able to join us in town on the second night and booked a last-minute room. She was very happy with the breakfast and the to-go bag they gave her at checkout the next morning. A solid place to stay if you're in the area. It's also just a short walk or drive to the outlet mall if shopping is your thing. read more

I had a great experience at this Hampton Inn! The room was beyond clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was great! I read some reviews about the beds being bad, so I thought that I would address it. The beds are on the firmer side, so if you are a firm bed person, this is most definitely the place for you! I am more of a soft bed person but I still got a great sleep. I would highly recommend this property for your travel and I will most definitely be returning! read more

Needed a last minute hotel when the I-5 closed suddenly and we were so lucky we were able to sweep up the last room! Front desk Steve was so helpful and nice despite being insanely busy with the phone ringing nonstop and people walking in constantly to look for a room. Room was very new, clean and spacious. Can't say we loved it here since it was an unexpected annoying detour but it was a very nice hotel. Also, boxed breakfast very plentiful. read more

This Hampton Inn was just opened in November 2018 and it is really top notch. The comfy king bed room was spacious and quiet; with a fridge, single cup coffee maker, hi-def TV, sofa and foot stools. Bathroom was bright with lots of counter room and shelf space. It had a large walk-in shower with a sliding door and the waterpik shower head worked great. Everything is new, and free WiFi. A great place to rest before hitting the Grapevine on your way to LA. Nearby is the Black Bear Diner and the Outlets At Tejon. What more can you want?! I'll be back. read more

It's okay for what it was. It's an Inn. You don't have the luxury of a hotel, like room service or a nice restaurant to dine in. We had to walk across the courtyard to another hotel and eat at their restaurant. You have to request for trash pickup or room cleaning, it wasn't automatic. We turned the heater on since it was October and the heater hadn't been used in a long time, so the room filled with the burning smell of dust. At least the windows opened to air out the room. Checkout was at 11am, and by 10:30am the maid was all but shoving us out the door. I think next time I'll make sure to book something with the word hotel in the name as apposed to Inn. read more

My husband and I are pros at driving from San Jose to Palm Springs as we travel for work every few months. This trip we left a lot later than normal due to an emergency hair appointment then a large screw in our tire. We were pulling to the grapevine around midnight and decided to find a place to pull over for the night. First we pulled over in Lebec and almost made a mistake of checking into the days inn when I pulled the reviews and was treated to images of roaches. We speed away as quickly as we could thinking we would be sleeping in our car. We went up a few exits and found the Hampton inn in Tejon. We were delighted to arrive to a new construction, clean and beautiful hotel and were greeted by a friendly staff who got us checked in. The room was large and meticulously clean. The beds were very comfortable and pillows amazing. They use higher end shampoos and lotions in the bathroom. In the morning they host a breakfast with plenty to choose from. One thing that really stood out to me, which I find rare in the hotel industry- staff that genuinely seems happy to be at work. Very friendly, nice and helpful. Thank you Hampton inn from saving us from the gross hotel, sleeping in our car, and being a 10/10 experience. This will absolutely be our stop for now on instead of attempting to power through the drive. read more
