We've came here a few times. This last time we were able to reserve a spot last minute which was good. Pros: Areas are leveled, price is cheap, two dog parks with doggie bags, near the freeway, management (Crystal) is nice and welcoming. Cons: It's hard to get through the phone lines, nobody is ever in the office during office hours, we had an issue with our neighbor not cleaning after his dog outside in between our trailers (any time we opened up the windows it smelled like shit). He was constantly arguing with us so we told management (Crystal) and she said she was going to kick him out (since staff and others were complaining about him and his dog).... She never kicked him out and the issue worsened to where he got other people from other trailers involved. A few trailers down, there was a lady with like 5 or 6 kids who kids would come out crying from the mom screaming at them sever days. At the dog parks, the shit was left on the ground, the lights hardly work. You do pay for what you get. read more

This was a nice stop on our trip back to Phoenix. Big spaces, level, and a really nice garden. There was a nice size dog park as well. There are some full timers here, but everything was neat and clean. There is a dedicated row for one nighters, so it was easy in/out for us. All spaces are pull thru so that was great for ease wirh our toad. Not too bad a distance from Bakersfield either, if you needed a grocery or dinner run. read more

Have been here for a few months and havent had much to complain about, til now! The campground bathroom is anything but clean!!! Spoke with Brody this morning and informed him of the nastiness and even offered to clean it, and he declined said management wouldnt go for it!!' Said he had been meaning to clean it but had been busy and would clean it today! Well i just went up to take my shower and ended up cleaning the shower myself since it was disgusting! Took pics but not before i cleaned it! Scrubbed it twice and it still looks like this!!! Theres never any toilet seat covers and sometimes at night theres no tp or paper towels read more

Well, at first I was going to write a very positive review, possibly 4-5 stars, Full h/u, large pull through sites, clean and reasonably priced, but then the manager Carlos, I believe his name is, ruined all that. We first stopped in and through their pay at the window station paid for two nights. Then because of the fires that were going on at our next destination we decided to stay longer and paid for a week online. Well, come the afternoon of the 2nd day we originally paid for we had someone literally banging on our door telling us to GET OUT! It was Carlos. To make a long story short... I showed him our confirmation of paying for a week and instead of apologizing he said quote, well ok BUT you CAN'T come back for a year! WTH? WOW...REALLY? OH DON'T WORRY CARLOS.. Fine motor home park. Clean, attractive, comfortable. All we could wish for a night's stay.

Office is never open. Girl in office is clueless to what is going on in the park. Spaces are all dirt, no shade. They have a ton of open spaces but the girl will only let you stay in certain ones, she states they are full. Bathrooms are not accessible unless you can reach someone to get the code which is hard to do since the office is always closed during the posted hours. Many people speeding through the park and no one says anything. This was a second time staying here, trying to give it a second chance but never again. Last time we stayed multilple sheriffs were in the park and no management in sight to see what was going on. read more

Wow this place went from nice to trash overnight. Place is obviously not being taken care off. Lots of dirtbags moving their old trashy RVs in. Looks like abandon RVs everywhere. I may have to start staying at the Crest when I am in town. Owners were very friendly and courteous. Rv park is nothing fancy, but very clean and well kept. We stay one night on our way to and from our spot in Palm Springs. We used to stay at Bakersfield RV Resort, but since KOA took it over the price has doubled. For a quick one night stop Bear Mountain RV is a great deal and easy to get back to Hwy 58 read more

The weeds along fence lines are super overgrown and there is trash there as well, property manager just sits in the office or rides around on his golf cart and doesn't do any real outside maintenance. Looks like quite a few unattended rv's just sitting around. Bathroom is pretty dirty. Prices are good and the access from freeway was great. But really need some better maintenance especially because those weeds have burs on them which is unsafe for kids and pets. read more

Perfect place if you need to camp for the night before tackling The Grapevine! We were about to head over The Grapevine at about 7:30pm but saw a major lightning storm up ahead as well as a high wind advisory over the summit. Found this RV park and the young man who answered the phone was extremely pleasant and informative in letting me know they space available last minute and the overnight registration process was super simple. Quiet compared to other RV parks around Tehachapi. Not too far from freeway going to Red Rock Canyon state park, Jawbone & Death Valley. Reasonable rates & all pull through. Next to very nice cafe at glider park next door. Vegetation very dry & areas to walk pets has a lot of cockleburs, etc. Clean restrooms & hot showers but they are locked during the nighttime hours. This would be a very decent campground, if not for a set of minor issues that make your stay rather unenjoyable. Let me get straight to it. PROS - full hookup, everything works great - level, asphalt-covered spots - ability to check in and pay after hours (envelopes in a bin) CONS - smell of fertilizer - smell of feces - smell of crap - smell of dung - smell of poop - smell of sewer - smell of shiiiieeeeeeet. Seriously. We had to make our RV airtight to survive the night. It may not be owners' fault, but still. P.S. Forgot to mention. I have no idea why this place is called an "RV resort". There is absolutely NOTHING to do, on site or around it. It is basically a parking lot with hookups. read more

This facility falsely advertises dog friendly. They are dog friendly if you want to pay the higher weekly rate you can stay with your dogs but if you need to stay a month the management states that they are not allowing anymore monthly renters with dogs. They state they have too many dogs even though you do not see many dogs in the facility. Seems to be a ploy to get more rent for the same space. In other words you can have your pets if you pay the week to week rent but not if you pay the monthly rent. Pricing on their web site has not been updated, management is rarely in the office. The park itself is good with nice pull throughs and the maintenance seems to be well done. Laundry facilities are so, so with some machines broke with no out of order signs on them read more

Travelers BEWARE...Made reservations online for one week via website. This was March 19, 2020. California mandated shelter in place. Called March 20 to cancel. Was told by Carlos to do it online. There is no information or area on the website to cancel. Called him back and was told he would talk to the owners as he didn't know how to cancel. Also said 4 other customers tried to cancel but couldn't. I also emailed the email address on the website. It is now the 24th and my card has been charged $187.00. Called AGAIN and Carlos said he will give my email to owners. This RV Park is either poorly run or they are running a scam. I am disputing the charges with my credit card and will turn them in for fraud if this is not resolved quickly. Find another place to stay that is honest read more

We just stopped by overnight and it was perfect! The spaces were large. Th facility was very clean and they had a nice fenced in dog "Pottyland." Whoever I spoke with on the phone was really friendly and late check-in was super easy! The bonus is that it was only $29/night! read more

One night stop here in a pull-through. No sign on the road so the entrance is hard to see. Office doesn't seem to be open much but the self-registration is simple. I remember calling to make a reservation and was told that they always have room so no need to book. Nice, large off-leash dog area. Clean park. Pet areas are bigger than most. Site quiet. Our main complaint was there was only one bathroom! Toilet, sink and shower in one room. Laundry restroom Facility is locked from 9 pm until 730 am. I would rate higher if we didn't need the facilities. One row reserved for overnight camping. The remainder are monthly renters. It's a stretch to call it a resort. Large trees at each site with picnic table. Gravel/dirt pad. Sites are pull thru. read more

This was a good site if you are just passing through. Its clean, close to the freeway and the manager is nice. And the price is awesome for what you get. The reason it gets a 2 is there is literally only 1 bath-room. It has a nice toilet, sink and shower, but its 1. We dont use our shower in our RV so we all had to take turns. The manager gave us a discount but he said he doesnt have enough business to put in another yet. If you are passing and use your own - give this a chance. read more
