This is a long overdue review for Water Shack. I stumbled upon this place a few years ago when I…read morewas craving a no frills mom & pop style burger. To my surprise Water Shack's burgers were delicious and satisfying that I find myself coming back here ever so often. Their burgers aren't the heavy, greasy/high fat patties you would get from other places. However, their 1/4 lb patties are their smallest patties and heft makes for that ideal bun to burger ratio. Did I need to order double patties on most of my burger orders? Probably not. Their patties are on the leaner side but they aren't dry; and the fixings from any burger you choose will satisfy that meaty burger fix you're looking for. The Chicken Patty Melt is also a very tasty item. Very cheesy, buttery and crispy toasted bread with chicken breast. Their fries and onion rings also come air-fried so this place focuses more on the healthier comfort food options that wont leave you feeling heavy and drowsy. This place is also doubled as a purified water dispensary and also serves baked goods and ice cream. Love this type of no-frills, unassuming place with very friendly staff and serves up some delicious food!

Food was delicious and fresh...enchiladas were stuffed with chicken. She told me the staff was super friendly and helpful, always good to here. Can't speak to the ambiance of the place but I can say for sure the food I tried was ON POINT and would definitely go back to try some other options. Highly recommended!

The pastas were all cooked Al dente and each had a unique flavor twist. Will be coming back next year. Thank you !!!

We each ordered one beverage, and never heard from anyone again for 20 minutes.... this pattern continued throughout the dining experience. Our drinks went dry lonnnnnnng before they served any food. We had to ask for bread, we had to ask for water, we had to ask to order. We would've had another drink, had we been asked....but we didn't want it to delay the situation any further by chasing the server down, to place a drink order. She never once came around to our table to ask if we needed anything, or how the food was. When we ASKED for the check, it was explained to us by the server, that they no longer are staffed for Summer and that is why the long wait, between everything. WTH? So apparently you only get good service in the summer? Good to know! It was terrible. And we were so excited before we went, after having a good experience. What a let went down. From the customer service, food, ambience, etc, the entire experience was a 20 out of 10. I specifically want to highlight a few people who made this event more than just memorable. Gwen, as the event coordinator for Ciao, was very communicative and hands-on from start to finish. From the staff who helped answer all our questions to everyone who worked the event, I am so grateful for your professionalism and support in making the event amazing. If you ever choose this place for one of your events, you will not regret it. I'm just mad that I've been in the local area for too many years and only discovered this restaurant less than two months ago. After having lunch there, I decided to ask if we could host my husband's party. I was then escorted to the ballroom, and the decision was made without question. After the event, I have absolutely no regrets! Highly highly recommend. Even if you don't have an event, the food is authentic Italian. My next plan is to visit Italy after engaging with our new friends from Ciao!!
