This company is the best! They completed our yard cleanup today, I wish I had "before" pictures because it was a jungle. The crew was professional, efficient and thorough, and our yard looks like a park again. We confidently recommend Jose's Landscape & Maintenance for all of your landscaping needs.

We contacted Jose's L&S after getting quotes from two other companies. Maria, the sales representative, was very helpful in designing a project that was well within our budget and met our needs. Initially, there was a backlog until November (2021), but an opening transpired at the end of September. The crew finished the job in three days and the results speak for themselves! The entire team is very responsive and the communication is excellent. We have used this company before at another property for landscape maintenance and they are equally good at that task as well.

At our initial cleanup, crew actually pulled weeds. "Maintenance" since then has been using an edge trimmer, but letting the weeds grow.

Jose's Landscape and Maintenance is great for initial cleanups and one time projects. Maintenance on the other hand, is not so great. We had a big cleanup done in August, which was pristine. Our property looked amazing and we were so excited to sign up for maintenance to keep it looking that way. Unfortunately, it is now October and the weeds have been picked once and the ivy in the front yard continues to be ignored. When I first told them that weeding was not being done, they suggested someone come out to give us an estimate. What?? I told them we didn't need an estimate but just for the crews to weed when they came for our visits. (As included in our contract) They said yes, and then scheduled a visit with an estimator... LOL. I'll spare everyone the details and just let our pictures speak for themselves. It seems like they send a different crew each visit, which wouldn't be a problem if all the crews provided the same level of service. It has been so frustrating trying to get them to provide the maintenance services that we signed up for to keep our property looking as good as when they first cleaned it up. I almost feel like they're allowing the property to deteriorate so they can charge us for another big cleanup to restore it.

Over many years we have had multiple Landscapers come out to give us bids to renovate our backyard. We were not happy about our interaction with them nor the budget they had quoted. A friend suggested Jose's Landscaping and maintenance. After an initial call to the company we were told a gentleman by the name Hoss would be out the next day to give us a quote. Hoss was punctual and turned up on time. He understood what we wanted, measured up our back yard and said he would send the quote by the end of the day. From the time Hoss came out to give us a quote, he was extremely polite, professional and more importantly listen to what we wanted in terms of design. We finally decided to go forward and hired Jose's landscape to redo our backyard. Our experience over the next few days was nothing but positive. Hoss and the owner Jose visited our worksite daily to ensure the team of workers were on track. The three men working in the backyard were also extremely polite, respectful and always answered any questions we had. The finished backyard turned out better than what we had expected. We would highly recommend Jose's Landscaping. They were professional, friendly and punctual. The quality of their work was high. No shortcuts anywhere. Very rare to find this in Gardeners and landscapers. Thank you Hoss and Jose, we will be recommending you to our friends and neighbors.

July 2020- Jose Landscape did an amazing job with pavering our backyard. The quality of work and craftsmanship truly raises the bar. Attaching the before n after pictures. Glad to got it done. Sept 2020- Jose landscape's customer service is extremely good. Any small issues I observed after the work was done, I would send an email and within a week they would come and take care of it. Their ownership and customer obsession has highly impressed me. I strongly recommend them.

Jose and his crew did an amazing transformation on my backyard. It went from being a hill with just dirt and weeds to a nice backyard we can enjoy. They worked with me throughout the entire process to design and were very flexible. They were very precise with measuring and ensuring that the wall was setup correctly and evenly. They showed up on time, wore masks the whole time. I added some features halfway through the project and they accommodated the changes w/out any issues. When the job was done, they cleaned up everything and left it spotless. I have used them a few times in the past and I am sure I will use their services again in the future.

Since buying our home two years ago, we've had Jose's do a number of projects for us, ranging from small jobs (clean ups, tree trimming, etc.) to major multi-week projects (rock terrace, new fencing, hardscaping). The latter was our most recent project with Jose's. I just wanted to reiterate what an amazing partnership it is to work with Jose's and his entire crew. It's very possible that all their employee have worked on a project of mine at some point in the last couple years! A few individual call outs: Roberto, their estimator/project manager/customer liaison is wonderful to work with! He's prompt, fair, and communicates clearly and professionally. In the last couple years, Roberto has generally been my main contact and he truly makes the projects go smoothly and seamlessly. Joaquin, the main crew leader on our hardscaping terrace project might be one of the hardest working people I've ever met. Day after day he would show up on time, work diligently and ensure quality work with his team. A few times I would buy the team pizza for lunch if I was home and they were always appreciative and grateful. Trust me, it's worth it when they are moving heavy rocks for 8+ hours a day by hand! Other than taking lunch breaks, they were always working hard - these guys have a work ethic beyond belief. Thanks go out to all that worked on the project as I didn't get every single name, but tried my best to say hello/thank you to all of them. If you ever need a new fence, Jose's is the way to go. Valentin and Gregorio were a two man team who built a beautiful fence and a very specific modern gate (I had a pintrest photo for them) which took a week and turned out just like the photo. Their attention to detail is impeccable - I happened to be home on the first day they started, and almost every couple hours, they would knock and ask me to check and make sure everything was to my liking, making any and all minor changes I requested. I wouldn't be surprised if these two only worked on fences because their end result was perfection. Also, they were kind and very friendly (and had a sense of humor). Andrea, their office manager/coordinator, is so kind on the phone. I haven't had a chance to meet her in person, but, I'm not kidding, this woman knows customer service. She would call me Ms. Theresa on the phone everytime and would call to confirm appointments, notify me of status changes, etc. She deserves kudos as well for managing schedules for the team. Long story short, for any and all outdoor landscaping/hardscaping projects, Jose's is truly the way to go. Their team delivers every time and their prices are always comparable and fair. I attached a couple photos for reference, but am definitely a return customer for them. 5 out of 5 every time.

5 stars only because of Misael's fantastic work! He is the best landscaper I've ever hired - he's VERY HARDWORKING, SKILLFUL and NICE. Will hire Jose again only for Misael.

Roberto and the crew did a fantastic job on our spring clean up. They were able to help us with a little pressure washing too. It was very easy to schedule an on site estimate via their website and I recieved a very prompt quote, which isnt always the case with landscaping companies. I would definitely recommend Jose's if you are looking for a quality spring yard cleaning that's easy to schedule.

We agreed to pruning after a branch had previously fallen on my neighbor's house, so we wanted the work done responsibly and according to an arborist's recommendations. The tree is also classified as a Tier 2 tree under Seattle code (previously called an "exceptional tree"), which made it even more important that the pruning be done carefully and conservatively. Before any work was done, I hired an arborist to evaluate the tree and provide a report, which was referenced in the contract. Unfortunately, it became obvious afterward that they either never read the report or completely ignored its recommendations. The tree was massively overtrimmed and heavily underskirted to the point that it now looks mutilated. I am genuinely depressed every time I look at it. What was once a beautiful mature tree now looks stripped and unnatural. The company never communicated with us directly before doing the work and instead coordinated only with my neighbor while I was out of town. At no point did they review the plan with us, discuss the arborist recommendations, or confirm the scope of pruning before cutting. To their credit, they did provide a partial refund afterward, but it does not make up for the irreversible damage done to the tree or the distress this has caused. We hired professionals because we wanted careful, informed tree care -- not permanent damage. Extremely disappointed.

We were in stop and go traffic on the Woodinville-Duvall road and he was behind me. I didn't go for 2 seconds so he honked. I waved to him. He then began yelling slurs and names out the window at me, flipping me off, and what was really scary was he was driving what looked like 3 inches my the back of my car. Every time we stopped he would scream that I was a "f---king b--ch". I am a teacher and was literally saying "I hope you have a good day!! We aren't going anywhere and you are being very aggressive! you need to stop!" What he didn't realize was that the name of the company "wizard" was in greenish blue letters on the side of the truck WITH a arborist trailer in the back. Anyway. If someone wants work done by someone with this character, then go for it. He is not a nice person and truly was acting irrational on the road. ***edited to add context: this was completely stopped. The car moved up about 5 feet ahead again within 2 seconds. This was not dangerous again because it was stand still traffic (see above that we were stopped long enough for me to hear you scream at me) regardless of me gesturing that the other car ahead of me ALREADY stopped by the time I moved up, you should never speak to the way you did especially with your business plastered across your truck.

Trent stopped by to take a look and was an absolute pleasure to discuss the risk posed by the tree. You can tell he lives, breathes, and loves trees. We've used NW Arboriculture several times over the years, and they've been consistently honest,…read moreethical, competitively priced, and skilled. After our most recent project with them, I decided it was finally time to give Trent, Heather, and their outstanding team the great review they deserve. For this project, we obtained bids from three other companies in the area while waiting for Trent to come out and bid the project. (NW Arboriculture's only drawback is that they typically book out pretty far in advance, but I'll explain why that may be a good thing a bit later.) Two out of the other three local companies counseled us that we needed to remove a couple of very large trees (that we hadn't been worried about) - at a cost of thousands of dollars per tree - that were in danger of falling down due to disease or damage. Interestingly, their recommendations for which trees needed removal were not identical. The third company's estimator did not recommend the same removals, but the post-visit bidding process was strangely non-specific, and he contradicted himself multiple times during a single conversation. As we were still waiting for NW Arboriculture to come out and bid the project, we hired an independent arborist for a couple hundred bucks to come out and evaluate every tree and shrub on our property. That was money well-spent. He explained why much of what the first two companies' estimators told us was completely wrong. I suppose the generous interpretation is that they just didn't know what they didn't know. The less generous interpretation is that they're frankly unethical. When Trent from NW Arboriculture came out to bid the project, he told us the same stuff as did the independent arborist, which was tremendously reassuring. Further, the great thing about NWA is that the person who bids the project works the project. We had so many items on our bid, that I don't think things would have gone as smoothly if one of the other companies (which don't necessarily have the estimator on the job site) had done the job. Anyway, this is part of the reason why it takes so long for NWA to come out to bid; they have to balance giving estimates with actually doing work. But it's worth the wait. With respect to the work itself, the team was able to take down a bunch of trees without damaging any shrubs that they promised in advance to not damage. I think one had to be sacrificed, but we were counseled about that during the bidding process. They also were very patient and easy to work with during the trimming of some large trees, as we gave them feedback regarding the look we were trying to achieve. About 4-5 hours after starting this sizable project, they wrapped up and cleared away all debris, to the point where our driveway looks more pristine than it has all year. Then they moved on to my neighbor's house and spent the rest of the day there. I asked him if he was happy with their work, and he responded that they did outstanding work for him as well. In summary, I may not even bother with multiple bids in the future, as this process has proven that NWA is clearly one of the best tree removal companies, and unfortunately some of the others in this area are either less knowledgable and/or frankly unethical.
