I REALLY like this store. Then again, I'm kind of a snob for clothing. The only thing I wish they'd…read morehave, is more items NOT made in China. Nevertheless, you can find gorgeous Smythe coats and jackets here (also found at Holt Renfrew) which are made in Canada, as well as other beautiful pieces in simple cuts and pretty colours. I find them a slight bit pushy and overeager to sell... although they backed off once they realized I was not responding to their cooing about how perfect the items looked on me. You can also find some wonderful cashmere in here, but I prefer buying cashmere scarves from White & Warren online (best quality cashmere for the price, I have ever found, even compared to the uber expensive Cashmere Shop in super pricey Yorkville), and I prefer buying my cashmere sweaters secondhand ... because they're expensive.

I was wandering down Yonge St, and the cute clothes in the window caught my eye…read more HOWEVER, the atmosphere inside definitely does not match the beautiful displays. The products were nice enough, but overpriced in my opinion.  But the main problem was the service! After not even being greeted or assisted in any way for several minutes (and it's not a large shop - they could see me, but chose to ignore me and to keep conversing between them).  When I finally asked a question about sizing in a top, I was very brusquely brushed off. This happened again, until one of the employees suggested a different top (that was about 3x the price).  When I made a comment about it being out of my price range, she looked me up and down and condescendingly told me that maybe the items were not my style. (Yes, I was wearing yoga pants and a sweater - I don't dress up for walking around).  I told her that I found her comment extremely rude, and walked out. I can accept a higher price for something if the service is great.  But people that rude do not deserve anyone's business.

They carry a really nice collection of 7 For All Mankind jeans here, these are the most comfortable jeans I've ever owned. Match this with their great selection of shirts from John Varvatos, and you have yourself a great outfit you can walk out in. Customer service is good, though there is only one person working at a given time, so expect to wait if they are already helping someone. So, in conclusion, if you're in Baiview and looking for some high quality menswear, look no further than San Marino.

Excellent service and quality of product. My wife used to be a fashion designer (with a university…read moredegree in fashion design and production) specialising in menswear before she decided to become a stay at home mom so she knows quality when she sees it. Obviously i took her with me to try on the product and give her opinion. Pricing is not cheap but in this case you get what you pay for. Much of the quality you're paying for is the fabric and quality of construction as well as the stuff you don't see (e.g.. the insides etc.) These were things my wife pointed out that i wouldn't have even known about. In the end, according to her, its how yhe suit hangs off the body and the longevity. I just liked the fabrics available. Overall, i was/am quite happy even though i ended up paying mire than i ever thought i would for a couple of suits :).
