I remember the days of going to the office full of "specialists" downtown when I was younger. All I…read moreever had was slightly blurry vision and glasses that never fit right. I've been seeing Stavros Petrou for at least 20 years now, and he's helped me in many ways, including saving my eyesight from blindness twice. For whatever reason, my eyes leak cells sometimes, and that causes cloudiness but can also leave me blind if it's not resolved. He immediately sent me to a specialist the first time, where I was given drops, and the second time--at least 10 years later--he gave me the same drops I had used previously, saving my eyesight again. My prescription has always been perfect. The one time I wasn't happy with the lenses that he received from the manufacturer, he sent them back and got them fixed right away. My glasses last. I've replaced them three, maybe four times in the time I've been visiting his office. My problems are always resolved, even on the busiest days. I'll be very sad if I ever have to change optometrists.

They didn't make any attempt to connect in the smallest way. My partner needed a specialized field test - something that is done at no cost when you're referred to a specialist by an optometrist. But they refused to make the referral and pushed to have the test done by them, which would have been a private, out-of-pocket expense. That seems unethical to me. They should have offered information on both options and left it up my partner to choose.

They have an awesome optometrist that really made me feel like she truly cared about every little bit of my eyes. I have some severe it is with my eyes and she made sure to check every bit of it. She was very kind and explained everything and was very pretty too.. lol. No because I have lupus the transition they had put on my glasses just wasn't quite dark enough. So again they worked with me and help me get the ESSILOR Transitions. Which absolutely help my eyes I have no pain in the sun they're not stinging they're not hurting yet they clear up right away inside. No more darkness when I walk inside and then having to wait to see. They change back-and-forth so well I can't believe it. I've ended up with the best pair of glasses I've owned in a very long time.
