I had an idea of what I wanted and Jose suggested that I should consider an exposed beam look with shiplap cross boards. I went with his suggestion and it turned out amazing! I was going to have him paint the wood, but it looked so beautiful, that we decided to have it stained instead. We love it and it actually keeps our house cooler in the summer. Our second project with Mesi was a complete bathroom remodel which is one of their specialties. Again Jose guided me on where to select the tile and fixtures. I selected all the tile and was ready to proceed, when Jose again made a fantastic suggestion to use a complementary tile in one section to sort of break the monotony. He is great at making subtle suggestions without telling you what to do. I love that! In both cases, Jose's crew cleaned up after each day of work which was super important to me. I'm impressed with both the speed and quality of the work done and at a very reasonable price. We are already planning to have a couple of other projects done by them because we know the work will be done right and on time.

He fixed the leaky pipe and left the ground opened to make sure no more leaks. In addition, he wanted me to pay the repair cost in full after finding the leak. After I paid him some portion of the total repair cost, he was mad that I didn't pay full and not willing to come and finish the work. Do you really wan to give any job to this guy. I am really glad I didn't pay him what he asked for. even if I paid the results would be the same. now I have to find someone to complete the work including constructing concrete panel for that he brock and removed to find the leak.

I had 8 planter boxes on my patio that were starting to fall apart after about 10 years of use…read more Jose suggested that I should have new boxes made with waterproof liners on the inside, to help delay the rotting process the next time. This was a great idea. Then he proceeded to draw diagrams and take notes right on his phone, finishing within an amazingly short time. I thought that his bid was very reasonable. He assembled beautiful new redwood boxes at home, with no mistakes in the measurements, and started to install them a week after he first visited my home, finishing the job 2 days after that. I was extremely pleased with the fact that he managed to transfer all of my plants from the old boxes to the new ones without damaging the plants. Some of these plants with their root balls were extremely heavy, so that the two men working really had to strain to lift them using straps. I also liked the fact that he took away all of the considerable debris, including the old rotten planter boxes, and cleaned up thoroughly. Jose is extremely smart, careful and efficient. He works from early in the morning into the evening. He has a lot of impressive machinery that he brings to the job. He listens to his customers and makes every effort to satisfy them. While Moises' estimate may not have been the lowest or highest of the ones I found, I got the most confidence from Moises and his team to be able to execute the project competently in the manner I needed. In contrast, competitors (some also with 5 star reviews on Yelp, others referred by acquaintances) were trying to force me into their own personal plan of the project, which quite predictably involved much more than I was asking to be done or needed - along with significantly higher risk, cost, and time for me, while of course making _them_ more money. This aspect is a typical problem with Bay Area contractors, in how they try to take advantage of their customers, so one always has to use their BS-meter. Moises stood out with his integrity, straightforwardness and customer-focus. The job was very well executed by Moises/team with great attention to detail, including guiding me to selecting quality material.
