When I bought my suits, i was told that if anything changed, they would alter them free. Today i brought 2 suits in for alterations due to my losing weight . I was told no they never have and refused to alter them as i was promised. What a way to lose business!! This particular Joseph A. Bank has a friendly staff and a good selection. Since it is in a shopping plaza, parking is certainly not an issue. When I asked to see a wool suit the salesman said the suit I was looking at was wool. When I pointed out it was 100% synthetic he suddenly had something better to do. Terrible. Almost ruined our wedding! Told my fiance every time he came in and checked on it that it was in alterations, well this time he made them go look and the guy said it was back there. My fiance was getting frustrated after being there so long with nobody knowing wtf they are doing he asked to see his measurements and they had NOTHING in the file for him. If he wouldn't have went and checked and made them show him, he would've just not had a tux for our wedding! We picked out a tux and put down his measurements JULY 1, 2024!! That is absolutely ridiculous that now on October 5th, 2024 that they did not have his tux completely finished when our wedding is October 19th. Absolutely ridiculous. All they cared about was watching football the entire time and no one seemed to know what the hell they were doing and then one of the guys admitted it was his second day. So our wedding was almost ruined by a couple idiots who just continued to lie to him about his tux and alterations. Would literally never ever recommend to my worst enemy. Service is absolutely ridiculous. Wouldn't even give one singular star if it was a option. We've been engaged for over two years and picked the damn tux out on July 1st.... I had horrible experience in this store! My Mother in law just passed away, my husband had to get a new jacket and new shirt for funeral, so we were a little bit in rush to get everything ready and we decided to go to this store to give a try. We were greeted by a lady and we told her our request and started looking for the size of shirts for my husband, the lady unwrapped 1 shirt for us but didn't fit for my husband, we requested to try more, the lady left us by ourselves and started serving another customers. We found our size we thought might fit, then I unwrapped it and let my husband try, but was too big, then we unfolded a smaller size to try, then the guy working in the store who named Paul came over warned me not to unwrap any more unless we were going to buy, but we only unwrapped total 4 shirts (including the first one the lady did), since my husband really needed shirts, we picked 2 of the 4 we tried on and bought them, but my question is that is there policy in Jos A Bank says the customer must buy all shirts they tried on? Or it is just because I am Asian and Jos A Bank treated colored people with different policy? I don't understand and I will never go back to that store unless that Paul guy left. I felt insulted and really uncomfortable purchasing anything in Jos A Bank. My family liked that store because we met friendly store manager and staff there years ago and been provided good service, but this guy named Paul destroyed my good memory of this brand and the store! read more

My boyfriend and I were looking for a suit for a cousin's wedding. We are looking for a modern slim fit suit. The guy helping us was trying to push a very old fashioned (Steve Harvey in the 90s) style suit and I told him I thought the length and sleeves were too long. How this guy treated me was very antagonizing, even pulling my boyfriend aside and saying that in the future, do not bring the girlfriend. Apparently it showed my face that I'd heard because he made a comment saying that I looked like I was about to eat him alive. I guess that's what happens when you talk about me when I'm standing right there. This place was highly unprofessional. Treated me with disrespect and ignored my boyfriends comments on what he wanted in a suit. Not to mention, I saw what their supposed end product was on a man trying on his suit and I was not at all pleased. This place was stuffy, rude, and conceited towards me. While having issues getting things into the store on time everything ended perfect! We came in later than we should have to be measured for someone's wedding. It was a month out. Tried the coat on but the pants were not in. There was some issues on the company's side. LD Barnes helped us and another groomsmen who also procrastinated on getting his stuff. He assured us at every turn things would be perfect and no wedding or photos would be messed up because of it. He got they guys everything they needed in time and had them looking great! He went above and beyond to ensure the guys were taken care of! LD makes an effort to know customers by name and remember why they came in. We are regularly buying for professional functions or work and he made this men's wear house family switch sides for sure! We will look for him personally when we pick our groomsmen's wear or need to update the wardrobe for work. read more

This particular Jos A Bank has been my go to off and on for years. When I had a job that required business attire I shopped here. Over the past several years I've held a position that leaned toward much more business casual. I've recently accepted a new job, so my attire is going back to business professional. For my birthday my wife went into this store to help replenish my shirt supply. She received great customer service from the store manager personally. This place always has some kind of sale. The no iron dress shirts ended up being $39.00 each. My wife stocked me up with shirts shoes ties and socks. I had a few exchanges. I went in yesterday. The manager recognized me by my son and therefore greeted me and told me happy birthday. She helped with my exchanges and made some suggestions for a couple bold choices my wife made that I'm no where near cool enough to pull off. The manager price matched the shoes from another company selling the same shoe at a lower advertised price. She rush ordered a belt and a shirt and had them shipped to my house at no charge as they didn't have my size in those styles in store. I couldn't have asked for a more helpful friendly staff. Another employees stepped in as the manager had an appointment that took her out of the store. The transition was smooth and the manager gave the employee instructions on completing the rush ordered items at no charge. I was very pleased with the pricing on the no-iron shirts. The best I usually find is 3 for $125 -$150 on a good day in an outlet for Brooks Bros. I will be back. If you're in the market for business attire this store has a solid selection. I had to stop in and buy a suit for an unexpected funeral. Being out of town, I needed almost everything. John was incredibly helpful in making sure that I got what I needed. It has been quite a while since I've experienced such good customer service anywhere! I initially wanted to order a suit online, but I had too many questions that just simply needed to be answered in person. So, I called and spoke to someone at this store and told her what suit I wanted and that I would come in and see what options were best for my situation. I went with my fiancee to Jos. A Bank and was immediately approached by Quemari, who asked how he could help me. I needed to first be measured, which he did in no time, then I showed him the suit I was interested in online, unfortunately the system was down so he couldn't order it at the time. He apologized and said to return the next day and he would be there to help us finish the order then. We returned the next day shortly after the store opened and Quemari was finishing with another customer, he finished with that person and then turned to us remembering both of our names and everything we had discussed the day before. He had already written down everything on paper so he directed us to the cashier, AJ, to assist us with placing and paying for the order. AJ was equally friendly, we shared a couple of laughs as we waited for the transaction to go through and for the order to place, she also helped me get into the system. After we finished paying, we headed out the door only to be met once again by another gentleman associate (unfortunately his name escapes my memory) and we had a pleasant conversation about my car in the parking lot (its new) and shared a final smile before he wished us a good day and we walked out of the store, both talking to each other about how nice everyone in there was. Everyone was friendly, everyone was wearing a mask, and I also got an excellent deal on a suit! If I need formal wear again, I will undoubtedly return to this store. read more
