The colors were vibrant with plenty of lights. The walls were labeled in sections to prevent confusion. The staff were very engaging and courteous. However, I did get a swim suit for my grandson for only 12 bucks. I also got him a 3 piece set with shorts and a shirt for a good price. I got some slipper socks for my granddaughter. Because of this follow-up, I'm increasing my rating from one star to three stars. I had the absolute WORST experience at this store tonight, 08/05/2019. I used the Pay With Ibotta feature via the Ibotta App to purchase a Foot Locker gift card. With the Pay With Ibotta feature, part of the Terms of Use for the Foot Locker gift card states, "Protect this card like cash. This card has no fees and does not expire. This Gift Card may be applied towards any purchase at any Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, or Lady Foot Locker store in the U.S. or online at the footlocker.com, kidsfootlocker, or ladyfootlocker.com." When I presented the E-Gift Card this Foot Locker located in the Riverchase Galleria around 7 PM today (08/05/19), the cashier called the manager. The manager said he could not take the gift card because his store only accepts physical gift cards or gift cards from email. I explained and showed the Pay With Ibotta feature to him and he acted as if I was a liar. I asked him if he could look up the gift card number and pin to verify that the E-Gift Card was valid. He did and he admitted that he could see the gift card in the system, but he still would not honor it. I asked him would I have an issue using the E-Gift Card online. He stressed that "I MAY be able to use the card online". As I stood in the store, I went to the Foot Locker website on my phone and ordered the shoes I attempted to buy in the store. I was able to use the gift card I bought via Ibotta with no issue. Now, my kids have to wait 5-6 business days to get shoes that I should have been able to walk out of the store with tonight. Additionally, when I called Customer Service, a man named Jimmy hung up on me when I asked to speak with a manager about my situation. Also, this store's manager said he called his district manager who also disregarded me. I was disrespected and my time (a valuable commodity) was wasted. I have reached out to Foot Locker to file a compliant. I deserve an apology and an explanation for how poorly the situation was handled tonight.

Returns are always easy, and the cashiers are efficient and pleasant. I do shop this location periodically. It's about a 50/50 chance on whether the stock is orderly and organized. The worst area is usually the cosmetics and accessories (to the far right in the store). If you like to dig through the additional markdowns, it's not unusual to find items broken, sampled, etc. Same for the additional mark clothing; every once in a while those racks look more like thrift racks than clearance, but once you find that diamond in the rough it can be worth it. I do wish this location got more of the special occasion pieces, but either I always miss them or they go to different Rack locations. If you've got the time, it's a great place to find great prices on everything from budget-friendly brands to designer brands.

It's not uncommon to have difficulty finding assistance, finding sizes in the wrong place - specifically shoes, messy racks, clothes left in changing rooms, and a long checkout line moving at a snails pace. When shopping here I expect at least a 50% discount, but it's not uncommon to only find 25%-30% on discounted items. Even with these negatives, I've found great shoes and some clothing.
