Thankfully they have not yet completely vanished. From beginning to end, Bill Ullrich and his two sons, Chase and Hans, were a pleasure to work with. They built and installed my new upper kitchen cabinets, and then modified and refaced the lower cabinets, with a level of skill and attention to detail that I've seldom seen before. Yet their prices were at or below those of their several local competitors. The installation required three full days. So, of course, I offered to let them keep their tools and equipment in place until they returned on the second and third days. Despite my offer, they insisted on completely cleaning up the workspace and removing all of their tools and protective coverings at the end of each work day. Except for the visible parts of the cabinets that had not yet been installed, you might not have even known that my kitchen was under construction. It was simply amazing. Some approaches were against my specific instructions not to, and new problems have developed as a result. They say they can't fix the problems because the approach they used makes it impossible to fix without ripping off the entire job. (yeah, I told them that beforehand). Some repairs were done grossly improperly per two other contractors. One repair was so jury-rigged as to be laughable. It had to be redone. One of the major items failed immediately and now requires frequent maintenance--the very thing I was trying to eliminate. They have refused to remedy these problems per the required WA contractor warranty. The bill I got was very general (not itemized and billed per item), and was a lot more than expected. After getting additional info, I determined they had charged me some $700+ for things I did not hire them to do. When I challenged this part of the bill (paying the rest before the problems became apparent), I was told that I had been profiled as a senior citizen and that most of their older clients thank them for doing these unrequested "extras" (obviously they don't realize they were billed for them). In short, profiling and over-billing is a conscious decision they make. They have never argued any of these issues (except getting paid for bogus work), just refuse to fix. Be aware this is a family operation--everyone on the crew is related.

Whenever they made an error on any project they did for me, they fixed it without charging! I sold my condo earlier this year and because of all the work they did for me, it sold for way over asking price. I now live in a new home and they will be doing work in this house also for me. They always care about the details. They always care about doing a great job for their clients. As far as price goes, Inglewood is very reasonable. You count on a great job being done. They listen to what it is I want done and never have I had an issue with any of their work. Not everyone on the crew is related - that's a false statement by Seattle S. Jon's expertise and contacts proved super helpful during the planning phase. His team was always on time, stayed on schedule, and cleaned up really well at the end of the work day. He was really easy to get in touch with and quick to respond to email, texts and calls. Overall, very easy to work with. We changed the flooring, sink, cabinet, medicine cabinet, faucets, bathtub surround tiles and replaced the shower curtain with glass doors. They know their stuff and did a great job! Vasile…read morehad to come out twice to complete the estimate because I changed my mind about some things, and he was prompt and accommodating. He and Chris came out together for the first bid and had good ideas that I wouldn't have thought of on my own. Once the project started, Vasile continued to be prompt but was also very quiet (helpful while working from home during COVID) and clean. Most importantly, though, his work is impeccable (I'll add some photos later). Vasile installed a bathroom vanity and recessed medicine cabinet, moved a lighting fixture, and fixed all the drywall and trim. It is perfect. He also fixed some drywall, textured, and painted some walls where an electrician had to cut in. You can't even tell any work was done. Finally, and most impressively, he closed up a closet door and moved it to the other side of the closet to build a large pantry. My house is very old and crooked. Nothing is plumb, level, or square. Nevertheless, he managed to frame, trim, and hang the closet door, plus build, drywall, texture, and paint the wall, and trim it out to match the rest of the house. He was very thoughtful about all the details. Next, they are coming out to build a fence and deck for us. We can't wait to see how it turns out!

Why even come out if you're not interested in the job? Or take so long to give a quote since I'm trying to gather some quotes to make my decision.
