Learned the elevator shuts down if doors held open too long. How do you move large heavy things off an elevator then if the doors don't stay open? Learned birds in the building can get easily electrocuted on wires and shut the entire facility down. Learned my lesson, never use a multiple floor storage unit, ever. Storage Building is Great but Don't Get Taken by the Referral Fee…read more They offer a $50.00 referral fee if you send your friends. Well, I did just that. No problems with the units. Clean, protected, etc. but when it came down to collecting on the referral fee, they said the new tenant had to select between getting a month free rent or me getting the referral fee for sending them there. What the heck?! That is not a referral fee. You either offer a special to the new tenant or you don't. You either pay a referral fee or you don't. What you don't do is lead people on. Keep in mind, when you look online, the one month free rent is advertised. It is not an either or situation. Extremely frustrated and feeling taken and abused by this company. I will NOT refer to them in the future. I now see what business means to them.

We made our first trip to store items - by the second trip, there was a padlock on the gate and we couldn't get into the facility that guarantees '24/7 access'. 7 weeks later, we still cannot get to our storage unit. 6 phone calls, 3 emails with no resolution. We've been lied to - first, that someone is coming to unlock the gate, then, told we could have a combination to the lock - except the padlock requires a key. HORRIBLE service, we can't access our belongings and there's no time frame for that to change. And they have sent us reminders that our bill is past due and assessed a late fee.
