We were literally trapped at the facility until a very nice woman from across the street at another Public Storage location came over and moved the gate for us. We picked up our USC student's belongings in our small 5x5 unit only to find dead water bugs everywhere, in the hallway of the building and in her unit as well. She was freaked out and threw many of the items away. We have since cancelled the unit and will try to find another one at the end of this school year and hopefully not have the same issues. PS the rate of $30 a month went to $42 a month in only 4 months of having the unit

I didn't have help to move my things out sooner but 10 months later I go back and 85-90% of my items were destroyed or damaged by rats! One even one got stuck and died between some bins. the smell in the entire building was horrible, rat droppings were on everything! If you do store items here definitely get an insurance policy.

Process was super easy and the representative James was a great help! 100% top notch customer service. I didn't take pictures however this place is super clean and can tell they have great parameters in place to protect the units against rodents and other pests. I just hope no one else has the worst experience of their life there. But once I found out that I was at the wrong location I both glad and pleased and drove further up the road to Ashley at 1827 Lake Murray Blvd. who was an angel. We shared an exchange stories and she was very pleasant to deal with and very down to earth Ashley made us feel welcomed and completed our rental with a very quick click of the button. Later I had some questions and their manager or district manager Susan Scheer called me who was completely awesome and they were on it!!!
