My son was on a 4th floor apartment the furthest you could be from any door with a move to another apartment complex. I closed my apple watch steps and workout ring more than TWICE today if that gives you any idea... Jordan, Pierce and Kyle have to be the hardest working AND the darn nicest movers in the entire universe. Not one thing was broken, not one wall or piece of furniture was scratched. And they were so kind and cheerful- like how in the tarnation could anyone be so polite and happy while lifting heavy yhings in sweltering Columbia heat all freaking day?? And yet- they absolutely were. We ended up hiring these guys after our original move in date was botched and it was honestly a blessing in disguise. If you need anything moved- call them. We spent the evening cleaning and unpacking and I wished I could have kept those boys with us. They are THAT good! They lost all the pieces to my 3 dresser mirrors, they had them mixed up with the wrong dressers and time was ticking. They left some furniture peices at the loading address so they couldn't install 1 set. They were nice young men but they did not have the strength to take some of my furniture upstairs.They really struggled. When reinstalling some of the furniture pieces, they were confused on how to put them back together. I called the manager and told him my concerns that these guys may need one other person. But he said he would have to charge me, instead of just satisfying the customer. It got very frustrating for me as a customer. I will never hire these guys again!

The two gentlemen, Rodney and Demario, are the most polite movers I have ever met. Although I did not hire them, they treated me as if I did. The owner of Prohelp, Parker, came to my home at the beginning of the move, introduced himself, went over the process of the move, got my approval and left. The move began. Rodney and Demario treated each piece of furniture as if it were their own. They wrapped every piece in padding and shrink wrap. They made something that I was dreading into a very positive and enjoyable experience.

I have moved over 20 times and have had very good experiences until now. I used Allied for a move…read morefrom So Carolina to Ct. The driver did not communicate with me, showed up late and only brought one person (68 yo) to help with the move. They did not adequately protect my home or furniture, used dirty/used moving blankets and it took 12 hours to load my 2 bedroom home with limited furniture. I complained to management and the complaint was escalated to upper management where I was assured there would be additional labor to unload. Driver then went south to Georgia and packed a home while my belongings were in the truck in extreme heat. This caused mold/mildew damage to some of my belongings and artwork. When driver showed up a week later with my belongings it was the same 2 guys to unload! No extra help. Seems driver chose his route based on profit for him and did not hire help so he could keep more money for himself. Management is obviously useless. If your time is important and you value your belongings, use a different company!!
