I've repeatedly had to contact Jordan's Mobile Home Services for a problem that arose after the completion of installing a new roof on my daughter's mobile home. I even spoke to the owner in person expressing my concerns. The owner agreed to take care of the problem, but I haven't heard from him since and that was months ago. In addition, the installation of the roof was so poorly done, the rain caused significant damage to the interior wall and ceiling of the mobile home which required extensive repairs. Currently. the cap on the water heater is broken and water from the rain/wind is leaking into the pipe and has caused the pilot light to go out on numerous occasions. Multiple telephone calls and physically going to their place of business in the past few weeks have failed to get a response from them. read more

We recently purchased a 1967 manufactured home in Alpine, CA. Renovations were needed from the ground up due to age and special modifications had to be done for wheelchair access through the home. I wish I had read the reviews on yelp before I contacted these people...they are awful and never answer their phone...they send out a guy to take pic do some measurements etc..told me he would get back to me...they never did so I called them...the woman who finally answered after two or three calls told me it was for him to call me she has nothing to do with it...and she would tell him...well again nothing..not even we don't want to do the job..long story short they do not communicate..i actually feel they did me a favor after I finally read the reviews here on yelp.....I know what they mean when they say you can leave a message but they will never call you back...I am done with them I just wish like I said I had read the reviews...do yourself a favor and avoid these people because if you ever used them and had a problem they will never call you back.. Much like the others, it took forever to get them to call me back. I was referred by a neighbor and Josh Jordan finally came to my home. I had a few things I needed to have done. New sinks, screen doors, fix water drains, etc. He never provided any invoice as he promised. I am a 74 year old single woman and have owned and operated two businesses in my lifetime. I know what work ethics are. I told him that I needed to get the drains done ASAP because I was getting warnings that they were facing the wrong way and the next time I will be fined. I can guarantee you that these people will not answer or return your calls. Maybe if you have a BIG job that will make them more money, who knows? read more

I have sent 3 emails with estimate description and requests and then called but no response also one of the emails were returned saying mailbox was full and to go through the post office. ok. So far, c/s is not good. Based upon other reviews similar to this, they sound kind of iffy. I have made requests to other companies, and I received responses within a day. You might try M&M or Crawford if you actually want quick turnaround on call backs and written estimates - they want your business. Maybe this company doesn't. read more

First, in 2019 Jordan Mobile home Services was my Savior, I had an electrical shortage that shut down my entire house. Josh and I think David came to the house and rewired all my outlets and did a great job. BUT in MARCH 2023; A worker came to my Mobile Home to check out another electrical problem I was having and said he would get back to me with an estimate. I NEVER HEARD BACK. August 2nd, 2023 Wednesday, I called to get an estimate on repairing the front of my house due to rain damage the previous winter. (Even though they had not got back to me regarding the March 2023 estimate") Josh came to the house, reviewed with me what needed to be done, Said and I quote" I love it when someone knows exactly what they want done" he said he would get back to me with an estimate. Since they never got back to me in March, I asked him when and would it be near the weekend coming up and he said " Yeah" On August 17,2023 I emailed Josh and asked him to please send me the estimate since it was now over 15 days since He came to the house. I did not get a response. The next week I called and left a pathetic message about getting back to me. SILLY, SILLY, SILLY ME! i SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER TO SEEK THEIR HELP THE 2ND TIME AFTER THEY FAILED TO RESPOND IN MARCH. So here is what I learned, apparently, they are not interested in my business, even though I would have PAID IN CASH whatever they said it would cost. I had so much respect for this business due to interaction and help in 2019. I am so disappointed in myself, for believing that even in this day and age a business stands behind its word. Bottom line, they didn't want my business, I am ok with that, but they didn't have the decency to decline it and tell me that they were not interested or didn't or wouldn't have the time in the foreseeable future. read more

We live in a manufactured home in Encinitas. Jordan has done a LOT of work upgrading our home: new windows, new water heater/floor board, new AC/furnace, pig-tailing all outlets/switches, constructing new 4.5" stairs and railing at our carport, and installing a new door. In EVERY job which was done, the 6 men who worked on our home were respectful, hard-working, tidy and quite knowledgeable. It was a joy to have them work on our home. Jordan Mobile Homes came to my rescue after I used a service out of Lake Elsinore. With them I lost all power and had a fire in my exhaust fan, smoke behind my stove and smoke in my middle room melting a power cord in half. That's when I was fortunate to find Josh from Jordan's Mobile Home Service. Finally I had someone who knew what they were doing. I had all aluminum wiring taken out and copper put in. It took awhile to get back to normal, but I feel safe now and I had them put in double pane windows. They did a great job! Hire the experts first before you get screwed by another company. read more

Just had Jordan Mobile Home Service take out old tub and put in a walk-in shower that is amazing. Had new skirting, exterior painted, and a couple of other repairs done. This company did a beautiful job inside and out. The quality of materials used was great! However, I have to mention how great Josh and Christie are. So professional and great to work with to get the job done! The whole crew that came out to work and get the job done right led by Dan was beyond great! Jordan Mobile Home Service recently completed installing a new roof, two new exterior doors, and new ducting underneath our manufactured home. From start to finish, their service was friendly and professional. They showed up on time, and the work was completed quickly. I'm especially impressed with the quality of their work. All aspects of work were done correctly, no short-cuts were taken, and there was great attention to detail. All moulding and trim were cut with perfect angles, and fit together perfectly. All edges were sealed neatly with caulk. Everything is weather tight. I can't speak highly enough about their workmanship and friendly service. If I could give these folks 6 stars I would. I contacted Jordan Mobile Home Service after thoroughly reading all the YELP reviews from past clients. I am not related in any way to anyone that works there. I emailed the business with a description of my project and within three hours I received a response. Later that day I received a follow up phone call from the Office Manager regarding any questions/concerns I may have. She was a very pleasant person to deal with. Thereafter, I scheduled an appointment for an estimate. Josh, the estimator, showed up promptly at the appointed date and time. Josh understood exactly what I wanted and by that afternoon I received a very professional, and easy to understand estimate, via e-mail. The price was reasonable and the contract process was very easy. The original estimate was for about five work days to demolish and replace the deck/porch. The employees sent to do the job worked hard every minute of those days in spite of the tremendous heat we were experiencing. They were extremely friendly and answered all my questions that I had about the construction. Those fellows are an asset to the business. The project was finished on time and I are very pleased with the final product. The new porch/deck is beautiful, strong, and secure. The Trex brand deck/step surface is beautiful. Jordan's Mobile Services were highly recommended for doing a great remodeling job for friends of ours. Jordan's remodeled their kitchen and 2 bathrooms. They were happy with the results. We called to make an appointment on 7/21/2021. We were told they were very busy and couldn't come out until 8/4. Since we heard they did a great job, we took the appointment. We moved in our mobile home on Wed, July 28, 2021. We decided not to unpack our kitchen yet. On Wednesday, August 4th, Josh Jordan came out. He took measurements. He suggested to check out kitchen cabinets and countertops at Lowe's, Home Depot, and H cabinets. He said to give him a few days to email an estimate. It will be 1 week tomorrow. We have not received an email or a call. We tried calling their phone number several times. It's a message machine, stating to leave a detailed message. Well, the message machine says it's not working. To call back at another time. I sent an email stating we found what we like at Home Depot. I'm just frustrated. He didn't do what he said he would do. From the initial call for an estimate to the final day of finishing touches, Jordan Mobile Home Services management, office staff, and craftspeople were prompt, professional, and pleasant. The original estimate was for 8 work days to replace the skirting and remodel the deck/porch. The craftspeople worked hard and quickly every minute of those days. There was no way to get around the noise but the team worked quickly and staged the noisy work efforts on the side of the house with the least impact to our neighbors. We are very pleased with the final product! The attention down to the last detail has made our home so much more enjoyable. The skirting is beautiful and secure. Critters have been stymied from shelter under our home. The deck/porch surface is beautiful, railings strong, and stairs steady! We can now enjoy the outdoors with our dog. Sorry that we hired them. We are on day 46 of a kitchen remodel as of today. They seemed like a very nice company but please make sure you get everything down to the last outlet cover in writing. They did not honor ANY of their verbal explanations of the contract, which they made to be very vague. Communication is not their strong point either, in fact when I try to call the office it doesn't get answered nor does it go to voice mail - they said their answering service doesn't work if calling from a 760 area code. In July they brought out countertop materials that we made our choice from. The work began on August 30. On September 19, the project manager brought a new counter sample stating that the original was not available and the new one would cost more (he couldn't say how much more). We told them we didn't like the new sample and wanted a plain gray counter. On September 25 the project manager called at 8pm and said it was too late because the counter that they chose was already ordered. Then on October 2nd, they called to tell me they cannot find a counter so could I go shopping to find one. I had to hire another company to come in to install the counter that Jordan had included in the bid. They also cut a hole in the new cabinet above the stove to put the exhaust vent then 2 weeks later told me that the bid did not include the hood nor the labor. I had to go buy a hood and they added $150 to install it. The bid included a $400 quote to take out old ceiling lights and install new track lighting which we chose in July. On Sept 25th we were told that the lights we chose were more than the contract allowed for and that we would have to go out and buy them. After I purchased the track lights they installed them and are now trying to say that the $400 was ONLY to install the lights because they were only planning on replacing 1 of our 2 ceiling fixtures. The other items we had to purchase were outlets, switches and handles for the cabinets. We installed the outlets and switches because they wanted to charge more. Another item they claimed wasn't included in the $16,635 quote was a wall covering - they were intending to leave the old orange and yellow flowered wallpaper. The original contract price was adjusted by them to go up significantly because of other items that they did not disclose until AFTER the cabinets were installed. They do not always show up when they are scheduled and do not always call to say they won't be here. Ask to see the blueprints if you hire them. We didn't and it created a great deal of trouble. Their project manager had decided that he would like to put in a cabinet where I specifically said I didn't want one. In order to install this cabinet (while I was not home) they needed to spend a few hours cutting and adding bracing to the ceiling in order to hold it. They took it down when requested but are still charging for labor that was required to fix their mistake. The workers were only following the blueprints - that was when I first found out that they didn't really listen to what I requested for the remodel. The workers were always kind and hard working. If I had to rate their work alone it would be closer to a 5 star rating. This rating reflects the inconvenience, the inaccuracy, the lack of communication and the fact that they do not stand by their word on the part of the project manager and the owner. This is only a short list and does not reflect all of the problems we have had in dealing with this company. We learned a very expensive lesson "caveat emptor" - buyer beware. read more

They put in a new stainless steel sink, new kitchen flooring, new water heater, new furnace, all new double pane windows, and porch skirting. Outstanding work, Great Customer Service! I had my kitchen totally redone and Josh and his staff did a wonderful job. My kitchen looks bigger, has more counter space and cabinets, a real refrigerator and stove with oven and broiler. RUN FROM THESE GUYS. I called them in November 2014 to get an estimate on new Windows & a countertop replacement in Santee, CA. 15 minutes before they are due to arrive, I get a call, the guy in still in Escondido and is will be late. No problem I tell him. He never shows up....but I do see his truck across the way at my neighbors Mobile Home. I call the company up, speak to a lady, ...and sure enough the guy went to the wrong address. A blessing for me, but not my neighbor. I give them another try.- the countertops...a guy comes out to measure the countertops....he measures, leaves, does not bring samples... and NEVER GETS BACK TO ME. I call the company again, speak to a lady, she tells me it depends on the countertop material I want....she tells me to go to Lowes and pick one out and then they will tell me the amount. I ask her what is up with their company? Missed appointments, no call back and not "just go into Lowes" ? She tells me they are VERY, VERY BUSY, and the "BOYS" are just too busy to get back to us. Ok....too busy for new job. I get it. Solution: I call up up one of the Mobile Home Realtors in Santee, I ask them for a mobile home contractor that they use. They give me two names, I call one guy up and get my work down in a week. Excellent work. By the way..that same Mobile Home Realtor told me they had not heard anything positive about Jordan either...too busy, too sloppy. More......my poor neighbor ( the guy who got my appointment ) used these guys...same time frame...Oct - Nov 2014, he is still fixing the mess they did to his Mobile home roof, plumbing, and interior. I would give them no stars if I could. There service is terrible and I will never use or recommend them to anybody. I hired them to do work on our roof and rain gutters they did a nice and detailed estimate and took measurements. The estimate included a 50' seamless rain gutter that they took measurements for. When I first spoke to Kristy they said the job would only take a day. I said good that's why I went with Jordan because everybody else needed 2 and a half or 3 says. They came April 1st Friday, started 9:30-3:30pm and said they would be back Monday. They never told me what time. Come Monday 4th. They worked for a couple hours and said that our 50' rain gutter will not be installed because it's a 3rd party. They could of finish the entire job Friday, we felt. I was never told this by Kristy, that it was a 3rd party Hydro Flow when I first hire Jordan Mobile home Repair. I'd I would have know this I would not have hired Jordan Mobile Home Repair. They said they'll try and come next day. We never heard back and I had to call. I asked when they were coming to finish up the job. Kristy told me April 15th on my voicemail. April 15th came and Hydro Flow didn't install the rain gutter and said they need to measure and give the estimate to Jordan Mobile Home Repair. I said they already did that. It's in my estimate too. They said no and would be back in another 2 weeks. I said that was unexpectable and the gutter should have been installed. My mom was home and told Robert from Hydro Flow that we can't wait to weeks and we shouldn't have too. After complaining to Robert, he told my mom he would come tomorrow with the gutter. Never happened and he lied to my mother's face. It had rain 3 times already. I got a call from Daniel at Jordan saying they would be there Wednesday 20th between 11-1pm. I said ok. Then he called me again and said never-ending they'll be there the 21st. I said this was ridiculous and obviously Jordan Mobile home Repair doesn't care about the fact I have to make sure someone is home making it inconvenience to me and my family trying to figure out who would be home. I asked them for a discount to remedy their lack of customer service and professionalism and they said they gave us a 10% discount. We already had this discount FROM THE BEGINNING WHEN THEY GAVE US THE ESTIMATE. so, does their lack of service an excuse for the discount?? Then Kristy said they'll waive the 3% surcharge for credit card. Which was only about $60. Jordan lack of communication with me and within their department and lack of communication with there 3rd party is why I will NOT hired or recommend them. Josh came out to my newly acquired manufactured home to check out some of the issues I knew I had. He showed up ON TIME. After I showed him the problems I knew about, he pointed out OTHER ISSUES I wasn't aware of. Next day he emailed me detailed WRITTEN QUOTES for every separate fix. After deciding I could do much of the work myself, I called back to get his crew onsite for leveling of my floor which requires some backbreaking crawling under the house and some tools I don't have. It took MORE THAN A WEEK, but someone from his office finally called me back and scheduled the work. Two guys showed up ON TIME and did the job for exactly the price quoted. My floors don't sqeak nearly as much when I walk on them and are now (mostly) level but I feel they could have done a better job. A couple of the doors inside still don't stay where they are put, but they swing much more slowly than before. read more

Had a wonderful experience with Dave for our home inspection. He was SO thorough and gave us a wealth of information on what we were seeing as well as how to keep everything in tip top shape for the future. Not only that but Dave was extremely professional yet laid back and friendly, which made the whole process more fun and engaging. He welcomed any and all questions and never made me feel silly or like I was wasting his time (much appreciated from a total newbie!). I took home a notebook FULL of notes on how to keep every aspect of my new home in great shape and i never would have known any of this information had it not been for Dave and all the extra time he took to clearly explain everything. I work for a General contractor so I know what I'm speaking of. My Mother had some wind damage to her mobile home and the insurance company recommended Jordan. From the get go, horrible customer service, next to no communication, response time at the best was weeks, and sometimes months. A fairly simple carport awning replacement and some minor roof repairs, has taken over three months from beginning to sign off. Some of the work they contracted to do, and were paid for, wasn't completed, as we had to hire another contractor for these repairs. The office staff is awful. I spoke with them several times, my mom called, emailed, and spoke to them many times. Broken promises, lack of response, scheduling and no one showed up, day after day, time after time. The work they did finally get done was decent and acceptable, but that definitely doesn't forgive the nightmare they are to try to deal with. If you want a professional business to deal with, Jordan isn't it. read more
