I was so excited to try out a new place. My second time at a Korean BBQ place... Bad decision.... All I want to tell you is I left there 2hrs ago... Stomach twisting, turning and jumping all the way home. I'm screaming in pain. Y'all... I was on the toilet with a plastic bag in my lap for an hour! The burning fire juice uncontrollably shooting out the trunk... I'm praying to God to get me through. I think I might have to run back to the bathroom in a minute. COUNT YOUR DAYS JONGRO!!! Food wasn't even good. No seasoning. Feel like I got GOT ordering the all you can eat and barely could eat anything. My husband couldn't even eat the shrimp because they keep the shell on it and prior to you having to cook the food yourself.. they over steam them in the back and when you peel them to eat, it's stuck to the shell and a chopped up mess and they didn't smell fresh at all. Went there last night with my wife and had an excellent meal. I loved the jongro steak and my wife enjoyed the flatiron. Our server was super nice and attentive, and changed the grill out frequently. Decor is very different than most places we've been to, the seating area is very modern but the decorations on the wall is like a 70s Asian bar. read more

The decor is very cool and reminded me of being in a haunted warehouse because it's decorated for Halloween. We came in around 9:30 PM and just ordered an appetizer...which is an option. I guess the chef had to leave for an emergency during our meal but our waiter more than made up for it. He even offered to pay for our food, which was delicious so we paid and left happy. Unfortunately the menu has been reduced (price stayed the same) and kids price doubled. First, they have removed all seafood from their all you can eat menu. No more peel and eat shrimp and no more calamari for you to cook on your grill. The only option is the new seafood boil which you can't even cook on your grill, it comes in a small plastic bag already way over cooked and mushy. Second, to our surprise the kids pricing changed drastically. Our kids who are 7 and 9 were charged as adults! Before if you child was below 12 years of age the cost was $16. Now they have implemented a height policy?!? If your child is over 4ft tall they are charged as an adult! This is crazy my 7 and 9 year old can't come close to eating $35 worth of food by themselves. Horrible decision We used to love coming here as a family but can longer justify the cost for our kids. The overall experience is still fun but unfortunately poor choices by management has caused us to longer recommend this restaurant for families or those who loved the shrimp and calamari options. read more

So disappointed. We have gone here at least a dozen times since it opened, usually for lunch which is a $24.99. We love the food and service but don't think we can go back again. Today when we got our lunch bill it was $20 more than usual. When we asked our sever he said they were no longer offering the lunch special on Fridays. Apparently they changed it within the last month and you have no idea until you pay. The website still says Monday - Friday and there is no signage anywhere in the restaurant about the change. It's the smallest KBBQ restaurant I've been to so the noise level is pretty tolerable. The meats are decent but the tteokbokki sauce is watery and makes it not pleasant. I don't like when waitstaff come by and constantly move our food, it interrupts conversation and is unnecessary since you're already on a time limit. It's the only KBBQ anywhere in or near Annapolis but if an Iron Age pops up I'll never be back here. read more

Great food and the vibes were awesome. Celebrated a birthday there with a large group and enjoyed the time there. However it was our first time there and the staff did not explain much to us regarding using the features and the different meats. He wasn't very present when we needed him and we all wanted a seafood boil but they said it would take an hour, which made no sense when the time limit is 90 minutes. Our friend also had to leave early and had to pay in cash separately and the staff up charged him 10$ (which is more than 20% of his check) for what the waiter said was "tip" when tip was already included. Very disappointed to hear my friend who drove two hours getting taken advantage of that way. read more

I've been here twice with my siblings the servers we've had so far Ben, Moo and I forgot the other servers name were very friendly and attentive. The food is sooo good a big fan of the spicy and mango beef bulgogi. My brother is a big fan of the rice cakes! Really great! There are not that many Asian restaurants in the Annapolis area, so was excited to find this Korean BBQ place and not have to go all the way to Ellicott City. It was even better than the Korean BBQ place we had gone to over there. We tried much of the proteins, my fave being the spicy beef bulgogi. The mango beef bulgogi and the orange beef bulgogi were also tasty, as well as the pork belly. Our waiter was very, very good, being very helpful and attentive. We went on a weekday so it wasn't as full as it would be on the weekend. The decor is modern with nice wood accents. A bonus is the check had a 10% off coupon for Seoul Blues next door for delicious dessert treats. read more

Super slow service; meats were incredibly fatty and pretty much everyone had an upset stomach after leaving.

Food was amazing. Service staff very attentive and nice. K-pop ambiance you'd expect! Definitely coming back.

Come when you are not hungry because they will make you wait to sit plus it takes about 10 min for the meats to come out and be able to cook them so patience in very important but other then that this place is ok not all that good read more

They had run out of many key items on their menu or so the waitress told us. We had a 'Anglo white' family come in in after us and sit down next to us, order after us only to find them served with for example lettuce wraps that they told us they were out of. Took us a while to even get rice served with our meat. They were skimpy on the kimchi - could not get a second round served! Honestly we were super polite; very respectful. For the record we of Mediterranean heritage. Could go on and on - but really a bad experience. Prefer to go to Elliott city for much better Korean food and service. I'm not a meat lover & enjoyed the shrimp & salad. It was disappointing to see that there was an extra charge for veggies. So, I ate light. I will not be eating there again, but my husband enjoyed cooking his own food (along with the server's assistance). [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had a very nice time and the atmosphere was superb.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We found it a bit expensive, but if you're a big meat eater, this is a great place to dine. I ordered a drink and had to enquire about when it will arrive. My pina colada appeared soon after. Our red flag... when cooking raw chicken, ask for a separate pair of tongs to avoid contaminating other meats/shrimp with the raw chicken. I was worried, but after asking, our server agreed with having two utensils. In the end, it was a unique and fun experience everyone should try once.
