This weekend, after trying several private businesses and no luck (some places are full until April; I mean... are you really that short of staff?) I was going to bring my dog to Petco again, and then Tub Time called me back saying they had availabilities, so I canceled my appointment with Petco right away. The result was INCREDIBLE! You can tell Tub Time carefully cleaned every inch of my dog; the nail trim was fantastic, the fur is amazingly fluffy, and Martini smells like a newborn pup! I would definitely go back when he needs a bath and nail trim again!!

I was quoted $30-$35 twice by phone and finally decided to give them a try. They were busy for a Monday Morning. They are only open from about 8AM to 2PM so I had to read ajust my schedule to make 1/2 hour down South, I was excited to try their services because I heard such lovely things. The owner (who I assume I spoke too) was lovely and warm and kind to my pup. It took about 3.5 hours but worth the wait if my pup is treated well. Everyone that came in was treated with gratitude and known by name. My pup looks great, but he smells of perfume which I wouldn't of wanted for him. Secondly they charged me $45 and I have no idea why? Nothing was explained to me. I was told he got the works and had allot of undercoat. I bush him every other day so I know it was not that bad but he did need some care. What hurts most is they just looked at me, told me what I was quoted and waited for me to pay up. I even have it written down at home on their card and what day I spoke to the owner and that I was quoted $30-$35 by phone. I had to lower my tip and I probably will not go back now. I really don't want to be treated that way, and I have never had someone quote me by being $10 off with no explination. I would of appreciated some type of apology or more explanation for a simple bath and brush and if they felt his skin needed extra conditioner or extra services that they would of called to ask me if it was all right. I really don't know what I paid for, but I do know he was bathed and brushed. I guess I am still on the look out for my favorite groomer!

This is a very long, drawn out story but worth reading…read more 1. March 22, 2019 I called Shampooch and spoke with Sheena for 4 minutes scheduling an appointment for my Bernese Mountain Dog. I gave her 2 days to choose from and she chose April 4th telling me 9:30 was the drop off time. In that conversation she verbally quoted me $65-95 for the groom. 2. April 3rd comes and goes and I mention to my husband that I never received a confirmation text/call/email for my appointment. 3. I arrive to the business at 9:30 on April 4th and shockingly the lights are off and the doors are locked. I call the business number and get the voicemail, however at the end of the voicemail is a number to text for immediate response. I was not prepared to write down the number and decided to wait a few minutes to see if this person would actually show up. Shockingly, she failed to show so I decided to call the number again prepared to write down the number to text. Sheena did answer this time and when I identified myself she was shocked and denying that we had an appointment . She asked for my number and told me she would call back after checking her computer. 4. Cut to over 15 minutes later, instead of calling she texts me saying she has no history of my information. She offers a teeth brush and 10% discount. I CALL her back saying I do not want her touching my dog's teeth but want a 20% discount which she agrees to. We schedule 10:30 the following day. 5. I arrive exactly at 10:30 to drop off my dog. Sheena is literally draped over her grooming table eating fast food. She fails to greet me in any way whatsoever. No smile, no hello, no welcome to Shampooch. She grabs Oliver's vaccine records out of my hand as she is licking her food off of her fingers. 6. After receiving a call saying Oliver is ready for pick up I arrive to take him home. Instead of receiving an itemized invoice I am given a small piece of scrap paper with a hand written number on it. This number does not reflect a 20% discount in the range that was verbally quoted. When I inquire about this random number I am interrupted by Sheena who is calling me rude and telling me I am a liar because SHE doesn't remember our phone conversation scheduling the appointment. Obviously, this is not received well by me and I immediately react by a big fat zero for tip. After getting home I then receive an essay of a text message continuing to insult me and insinuating I have neglected my dog when in fact it was only 8 weeks since his last groom. The lack of professionalism and complete disregard of every aspect of customer service blows my mind. I have one final comment, which I am aware is knit picking. I work in the veterinary field and it is imperative that there is a two door barrier. When I arrived to pick up my dog the front door was propped open. This business opens to a very busy Chambers Road. Yes, there is a half wall when you enter the business but when I leaned on it, it was incredibly unstable. Again, the complete disregard of safety and professionalism is mind boggling. I beg all of you to never bring your pet to this business.
