This is a very long, drawn out story but worth reading. 1. March 22, 2019 I called Shampooch and spoke with Sheena for 4 minutes scheduling an appointment for my Bernese Mountain Dog. I gave her 2 days to choose from and she chose April 4th telling me 9:30 was the drop off time. In that conversation she verbally quoted me $65-95 for the groom. 2. April 3rd comes and goes and I mention to my husband that I never received a confirmation text/call/email for my appointment. 3. I arrive to the business at 9:30 on April 4th and shockingly the lights are off and the doors are locked. I call the business number and get the voicemail, however at the end of the voicemail is a number to text for immediate response. I was not prepared to write down the number and decided to wait a few minutes to see if this person would actually show up. Shockingly, she failed to show so I decided to call the number again prepared to write down the number to text. Sheena did answer this time and when I identified myself she was shocked and denying that we had an appointment . She asked for my number and told me she would call back after checking her computer. 4. Cut to over 15 minutes later, instead of calling she texts me saying she has no history of my information. She offers a teeth brush and 10% discount. I CALL her back saying I do not want her touching my dog's teeth but want a 20% discount which she agrees to. We schedule 10:30 the following day. 5. I arrive exactly at 10:30 to drop off my dog. Sheena is literally draped over her grooming table eating fast food. She fails to greet me in any way whatsoever. No smile, no hello, no welcome to Shampooch. She grabs Oliver's vaccine records out of my hand as she is licking her food off of her fingers. 6. After receiving a call saying Oliver is ready for pick up I arrive to take him home. Instead of receiving an itemized invoice I am given a small piece of scrap paper with a hand written number on it. This number does not reflect a 20% discount in the range that was verbally quoted. When I inquire about this random number I am interrupted by Sheena who is calling me rude and telling me I am a liar because SHE doesn't remember our phone conversation scheduling the appointment. Obviously, this is not received well by me and I immediately react by a big fat zero for tip. After getting home I then receive an essay of a text message continuing to insult me and insinuating I have neglected my dog when in fact it was only 8 weeks since his last groom. The lack of professionalism and complete disregard of every aspect of customer service blows my mind. I have one final comment, which I am aware is knit picking. I work in the veterinary field and it is imperative that there is a two door barrier. When I arrived to pick up my dog the front door was propped open. This business opens to a very busy Chambers Road. Yes, there is a half wall when you enter the business but when I leaned on it, it was incredibly unstable. Again, the complete disregard of safety and professionalism is mind boggling. I beg all of you to never bring your pet to this business. read more

Love Shampooch! They ALWAYS take good care of my pups and they always look amazing when they are done! Not sure why the guy gave it 1 star because they wouldn't let him wash his own dog.......I mean they're groomers! Not sure what the previous review is about. I went here for the first time with my (LARGE) pup. He could be a very intimidating dog, but the team at Shampooch won him over! It took a couple of hours and he was clean, shiny, and de-shedded. He even smelled really good, two thumbs up to these guys for taking the extra step. Their pricing is reasonable also. I've had dogs my whole life and used some really great groomers, but I've never walked into a grooming place and felt like I Just ran into an old friend! Excellent service, smiles, positive attitude, you can tell they love dogs. I have a large dog about 16 years old. He's feeling his age for sure these days but they were gentle, careful and patient with him (his hips didn't let him stand for very long, so it took patience to get him done!)... He went in looking (and smelling!) like a 16 yr old piggy and came out looking (and smelling!) like a shiny bundle of beautiful silk! Thank you Shampooch, We finally found the perfect place! read more
