He provided a clear and detailed quote, explained how Canadian sales tax applied, and walked me through what to expect as a U.S. buyer bringing Canadian-made audio equipment back across the border. After getting quotes like $300 - 400, it was a delightful surprise to hear their great rates - and was based on time. Didn't matter how much work we needed done, which is great for future work. Michael arrived on time and without any issues got these lights up and installed - and provided a quick POV on moving our electrical for the dining room (why is it that all condo manufacturers insist on installing dining lighting in the wrong place?) No rebate was deposited, the lie and scam continues. Added a photo of the email thread. Reported this company to the Better Business Bureau and filed an official complaint! Now I get an email suggesting I need an audit...do I or don't I...this place, I swear. So, here is the deal on the audit. You, the customer, are required to pay $800 out of your own pocket for the audit. PSMS says they will reimburse you $600 of that (lies). So, if your rebate is supposed to be $4,900, as mine is supposed to be...the actual rebate turns out to be $4,700 (lose $200 on the audit). I repeatedly remove this review in good faith that this company will resolve my issues as they keep promising. I am a man of my word and have delivered twice in removing the poor review, yet this company does not respect their word. I am done, DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!! They lie and make empty promises or constantly change the narrative!! Not removing this post or being pressured to until there is a viable solution! UPDATE: After telling me numerous times that there is no audit review in my area, they now send me an email saying I need an audit to which I need to pay $800 to have done! Odd company. Spoke with owner Jamie on the phone 4 days ago who told me to send him pics of my…read moreprojector (which needs replacing) and other info about updating my setup to C4. He said he's booking 3 weeks out, which is fair enough. But I requested he please provide me with a firm date 3 weeks from now so I could schedule time off/arrange with JVC to get the new projector (which was off the warranty so the service manager is doing me a huge favour). He agreed. No reply. Next day, no reply. Third day, I called and left a voicemail. I also texted him and told him to please call me with a date to confirm. No reply. The odd thing is on the phone in our initial conversation, he assured me customer service was his priority and he always gets back to everyone on time. That's demonstrably not true. So be warned. I want to work with an AV/Home Theatre company that gets back to you in a timely fashion, within 24 hrs. Nobody wants to be ghosted by their home theatre guys. It's been 4 days and nothing. Good thing I didn't give him my business! He clearly doesn't need it.
