When the technician arrived, I was told that the contract only covered one window. If I wanted the remaining five windows included, I would need to pay nearly $500 more. I feel the sales process was not transparent. The quote I received did not accurately reflect what I had requested, and after I signed, I was told it was my responsibility for not catching the discrepancy in the contract. While I understand the importance of reading a contract carefully, I also believe customers should be able to rely on the salesperson's explanation matching what is actually being sold. Had an install date arranged which they didn't show up. I called after waiting over an hour, got voice mail and left a message. They didn't call back after 2 hours so I drove over. The receptionist was new and didn't know what was happening, she called Darren and he said an emergency came up in Whitby and would be there the next morning. Well, they didn't show up again or call. Finally after the 3rd time not showing up the installers came but almost 3 hours late. 2 guys showed up, only 1 guy spoke English but that wasn't a problem until the lead guy left after less than 2 hours, said he had a family emergency and he would either be back or someone else would come. He returned about 2 1/2 hours later. They installed 4 cameras, when the lead guy was doing the work inside he damaged the paint on the wall and left scrap material on the floor. When he was connecting the cameras to the monitor box he found one of the cameras wasn't for the system we purchased, that camera was disconnected and we were told they would be back the next day to install the correct camera. Over a week later and numerous phone calls we finally got the other camera installed. Darren told us the installer would show us how to use the system but the installer didn't know apparently and said Darren would show us. Again, repeatedly called Darren who never called back or made an appointment to come and didn't show up. We ended up going to the store again and spoke to Darren. He didn't even know how the system works. A another customer came in while we were there asking for his refund because he was double charged. The cameras were paid in full before installed due to payment required on installation and it was processed on the date of the supposed first date. 2 months later we get an invoice for the camera they had to replace and installation of the camera. We didn't make the mistake, Skyview did then tried to charge us for it. This is the shadiest company we have ever dealt with. Darren makes excuses, blames other people and has no idea what customer service is.

Place supposedly closes at 5. Go in, there's nobody around. Ring the bell a few times, then leave. Got my computer back 20 minutes ago. Tech made up some BS to the girl running their desk. It's pretty clear he hasn't even touched the PC yet. It's been over a week and a half at this point. Skyview electronics is a waste of your time and money. The place is dodgy, business hours seem to be a suggestion, and the customer service, while polite, was devoid of use. At best buy now. They're going to be a bit more expensive, but this is actually getting done.

Phone works perfectly - can now go the entire day on a charge like I did when I bought it. The 'lab' where he replaces the battery is right in the store which allows you to watch him replace the battery - and ensure he doesn't browse all your intimate photos you've taken of yourself for your girlfriend.
