I'm not typically one to write bad reviews, but these guys did me a serious disservice and left me no choice. Jones has been servicing my TLX Type S for 2 years now, and have typically done a great job with communication and quality of work. For 2 years now, I have requested that they forgo running my car through their car wash, as my vehicle has a dual layer ceramic coat and has only ever been hand washed (I'm an auto enthusiast). They had my trust, as the service advisor once jokingly told me they washed my car during a previous service. On Dec 26th, however, after a routine service, I noticed the vehicle had been run through the car wash, and as expected, my paint was covered in micro scratches / swirl marks. I pointed this out to the service manager and he acknowledged their mistake (and even gave me a hand written note acknowledging their mistake), and offered to have their detailer buff out the scratches. I mentioned that simply buffing out the scratches would effectively remove my expensive ceramic coating, and would not be an adequate remediation. In order to restore the car to its previous condition, the ceramic would need to be removed then reapplied, per my detailer. After explaining this to the service manager, I was questioned about the quality of my ceramic coat, and was told that ceramic coats should prevent scratches in an attempt to pivot some of the blame. Any good detailer knows (and a simple Google search suggests) that ceramic coating does not prevent scratches, rather it adds gloss, protection from environmental contaminants, and ease of cleaning. After emailing the general manager, Kris, about the situation, I received a call from the service manager where I was told the scratches were not from the car wash and must have been present before the service, again that ceramic coatings prevent scratches, and they would not be willing to rectify the situation by working with my detailer to restore the vehicle to its previous condition. Instead, I was offered a complimentary oil change and tire rotation. Instead of making the situation right, Jones chose to lose a potential life long customer and damaged their reputation in the process. Anyone who considers themselves an auto enthusiast should avoid Jones at all costs. I'm extremely disappointed. The photos of the side profile and front of the car were taken in Oct 2023 demonstrating near perfect condition, and the three photos with swirl marks / micro scratches were taken post-service for reference. read more

I have been coming here to get my car work done for four years. The customer service is always very nice and very informative. The service center team is always very nice and I recommend them due to their professionalism and their knowledge. People always say you pay a tad more for service work at dealerships, but it's worth it. My Acura is always in good hands with this team. They have a great waiting area with coffee donuts and all. It's always my personal belief that paying a tad more for exceptional service is worth the difference. The service team of Justin and Kevin are wonderful at their jobs! read more

I received a recall notice on my Acura ILX and took it to Jones Acura in Lancaster PA for service. Of course there was no fee for the repair. The service was prompt and courteous and the facility was clean. However, my vehicle was only slightly rinsed off at the end which was very disappointing. I wonder if I had paid more money would I have received a better ending. read more

Don't trust this place, I purchased a 2018 acura rlx back from them in December. Only drove it few thousand miles then when I got my new rims put on I noticed a bunch of grease built up on my original wheels then when I took it to my local mechanic they told me my cv axle joint was busted. Then when I called them to ask them about it they acted dumb and said well it wasn't in our notes when they inspected the car. That's cause theirs a bunch of amateurs working there. Then the service manager was acting like he was doing me a favor by charging me over $1100 dollars to get it replaced. Like no rip off im gonna get it fixed for 1/10 of your stealership price. I drive my kid around in this car and for them to be that careless and sell a car to someone knowing it's not safe shows you their real integrity behind the jones acura name. Very impressed with the customer service. It was our first time at Jones Acura today. Andi came outside to help us and he was incredibly nice and friendly . There was no pressure and that is what really impressed my husband. While we are still deciding on what to purchase and exploring options, there is no doubt about it that we left very impressed. Only had repairs done here, did not purchase a vehicle. The customer service was average. However, I was told that they would call me when the part came in. They never called so after a few days of waiting I called and they said it had came in two days prior. While there to have the headlight ballast repaired, which was close to $700, I asked them to do an oil change too. At the completion of the job from outside appearances everything appeared to be great. And right now I will admit it is my fault for not checking everything at the time of repair. So shame on me. First, the housing for the grill on the side that faces the engine is cracked in half. I know that this was not like this before the work was performed by Jones Acura. We inspected the car before taking it there and the service department clerk inspected the back of the headlight while the car was being checked in for service right in front of us. In order for him to do this he had to open up the hood. Any damage at that time would have been noted as to release Jones from liability. Again, I should have inspected my car before leaving when the repairs were complete though. BUT, at least someone should have been professional enough to say sorry or acknowledge the damage. Secondly, upon changing my oil I have discovered that the incorrect oil filter size was used. Come on people, if you're a dealership that specializes in Acura know your product. This Acura isn't new to me and I know the in's and out's of it, along with every scratch and dent. I also know when someone doesn't know what they are doing and that is Jones Acura. read more

I've had my share of vehicles... and therefore, have had my share of experiences with car dealers. In that huge pile of dealer mess, Jones stands out as the "cream of the crop". Simply put, it was the best experience I've ever had. I had my eye on a RDX, Acura's smaller SUV, and inquired on their website about a certain stock number's availability. The next morning, I had a timely email from Matt H, who informed me that the vehicle was in stock, and gave me plenty of information to peruse before I decided to swing in. I went in on a Friday (the date of this review, actually), and asked for Matt. He came out and told me he was with another client, and turned me over to a colleague, Markus. Markus turned out to be the best dealer representative I've dealt with in 25 years of car buying. He was knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, and worked hard all morning to make sure all my needs were met. It was 90 degrees outside, and Markus took his time to show me all of the details and ins-and-outs of the vehicle while braving the heat. The "haggling" part was a breeze, all numbers were transparent and presented for my review (nothing hidden), and we came to an easy agreement. I got a good deal, Markus earned his commission, and we went outside to go over my freshly-washed new RDX. Markus spent over 20 minutes reviewing the vehicle's features with me... we set my seat preferences, radio presets, navigation system preferences, etc. He did a terrific job. All of the staff were courteous, and the lot was as clean as you'd expect, albeit a bit crowded. I'll definitely recommend them, and will come back when it's time for another. read more

Went for an oil change at Jones only the second time there with my Acura. Was with Apple until they left Acura. When I checked out was told that I should get my transmission fluid flushed based on the color of the fluid. The thing is I had this done less then 10k miles ago. When questioning them about this the responses I received from the service managed and then the General Manager was shocking. I have never been treated like that. Called Acura and told them about my experience and they offered me $100 gift card because of how I was traded. I didn't take it since Acura did not do anything wrong and was not looking for anything just wanted them to know. read more

We were in such a jam; heading out to my son's wedding in Pittsburgh & got a flat on the turnpike. Alan called 3 tire places for us to try to find a place close to where we were so we didn't lose any time. No one had the tire we needed. we def needed a replacement. You should have seen the piece that was in he tire. He said he could service my car immediately. So we headed to Jones Acura. He had a replacement Michelin tire on my car within 30 minutes & charged us less than $50. Fabulous! read more

Bought a used Acura from Jones and the entire time I was there had to hear how busy they were all day, trying to justify how many hours I was there because they didn't have the items ready that they were suppose too. After all that, found out by the dealership in York, after having the vehicle in multiple times in the first 2 months that I owned it that it had been wrecked!! I ended up returning the car to the dealership after dealing with all the "managers" and was told that they didn't owe me anything etc. I will never recommend them or ever go back even if they were giving cars away. Horrible, from start to finish. Ended up driving to West Chester Acura dealer for an upgraded model and the quality of car and service was excellent and put Jones Acura to shame. They could learn something from other dealerships, was always treated great in York at Apple too!! read more
