After a year and thousands in extensions and services he ruined my hair and I showed up to a scheduled appointment and he didn't show when I texted him he told me to find another stylist,Instead of apologizing. In which I did I went to Lancaster Blvd and meet Maribel coincidentally she knew him and told me her horror story with him! I just want to give a big shout out to Juan Carlos at Jon Dav salon. My daughter was preparing for the most important day in a girls life, her wedding day and she was so excited about the whole process, getting her hair and makeup done! She made an appt at a local franchise salon and when she left, she was highly disappointed! Her eyelashes were crooked and coming unglued, her hair wasn't just the way she wanted it. She called a friend at Jon Dav's to ask if she could please, at least, fix her eyelashes! She went in an a guy named Juan Carlo, upon observing my daughters distress at her makeup and hair, he dropped everything he was doing, came over to my daughter and told her that she was not leaving his salon, on her special day, looking like that! He redid her hair, adjusted her makeup, and fixed her eyelashes!!!! And relieved all of her stress!! All in record time!!! She was only gone a 1/2 an hour!!!! She looked and felt beautiful when she came back!!! And he did this all at no charge!!!!!! This is what customer service is all about!!! This is what makes loyal customers! I was quoted by my hair stylist for $220 to trim and dye my hair prior to his service. But upon checking out the cashier's charging me $395! And threatened to call the cops if I don't pay the $395. I gave him $220 plus $30 tip in cash and walked away. I'm not falling for their Dueche bag maneuver! He called me names and told me to never come back and should leave Lancaster because it's his town! I should have listened to all the bad reviews on this salon. Because they're all true. Very friendly and professional salon! I called and was able to get a same day appointment and even though they were busy I had a very little wait time! My stylist was Brett. He listened to what I wanted to do with my hair and also made some suggestions. My cut and color is now exactly what I wanted and I am very happy with the overall results! I watched as the other stylists worked their magic on other clients and I am sure that you too will be happy regardless of who provides your service at this salon. He's super friendly and so is his staff. I don't think he gets nearly the credit he deserves. From haircuts, to hair color, treatments and make-up, Juan Carlos can do it. Juan Carlos is a hair genius! I've been coming to him since I moved from The SFV to Palmdale (2007). Now that I moved back to The SFV, I go out of my way and do the long drive to Lancaster just to have him do my hair. I usually have dark tones in my hair and JC was able to extract my hair from a dark chocolate brown to lavender/grey. He is very profesional and takes his work very seriously. I was stubborn and wanted my hair this color right away but JC refused because he didn't want my hair to fry from all the chemicals. I wish I could put a zero. Let's see, where do I start? I was a loyal customer to Juan Carlos. By loyal I mean that I would always refer all my friends and family to him. Every time I had a big event, I would go see him to do my hair and makeup. (Yes, he IS really good.) So when my mom got married by church, I naturally booked an appointment for my mother (the BRIDE), my sister, and I. I had heard rumors that he was partying too much, and was always late to appointments or would plain out not make it in that day. So, I called several days before to confirm that he was still able to fit us in. (At 6am). I was reassured that everything would be great. Well, day of the wedding, we show up... NOBODY IS THERE! Thirty minutes later, nothing, an hour and a half later and no response from any of them. (I called his cell phone, shop, everything. I even peeked in there to make sure no one was there). Hours later, (30 minutes before the mass was starting) I get a call from David (his parter, hence JonDave). He said Juan Carlos was getting up late and he could start our makeup while we wait for him to get there. I couldn't believe it!!! He left us hanging the day of my mothers wedding, after years of commitment to him. Wow! To make things worse, he goes and GOSSIPS to my friends mom saying that I never showed up to the appointment and flaked on him (Even though I had already called everyone that day to see if someone could save us and do our makeup last minute).
