I really enjoy this place not only for the live music and the chill vibes, but the food is so good. The atmosphere and service are nice. This location is small, and many vary with seating capacity for people who want more space.

I have been wanting to go to Jojos so when my homegirl suggested it for her birthday I was very excited. We had a five pm resi and when we arrived there was a little line out front. However, right at 5 the doors opened and we were quickly ushered to our seats. The service, food and live music were great! We had a few bottles of wine and I had the seafood pasta without the squid. They even gave the birthday girl a dessert. I will definitely be back for more good times!

Good times! Went there with my husband to celebrate our anniversary on jazz night. Such a good time! We were super early, but the server got us settled and we got drinks and apps while we waited (no pic, hungry- we had calamari and wings) Dinner was soo great! Hubby got a steak with blue cheese sauce and I got bacon Wrapped shrimp and blackened salmon. Side note: the broccolini on the side was awesome. The band was great, a bit loud so hard for convo, next time we'll sit further back. Will definitely return!!

I stopped by JoJo's while in town visiting. My friend and I enjoyed our meals and loved the live music. It's a cozy and intimate spot with good food and drinks. The server was friendly and welcoming.

Totally had to get some Jazz in my bones while I'm in DC for a few weeks and I'm super happy to admit that Jojo restaurant and bar made for an awesome first stop. I made a reservation for 6:45pm and I'm happy I did. Although I probably could have managed to snag a seat at the bar without one, the place is teeny tiny and could have easily been filled to the brim. There were a healthy amount of folks in this night and I had a great time sitting incognito and watching them all. Jazz was great! On the melodic side but it scratched the jazz itch I had. Ok now, the food was phenomenal. For dinner I opted for the lamb chops and they were huge and delicious. When the plate came, I immediately knew I had been in Los Angeles too long because we never get anything this size and price back at home. The lamb was beautifully seasoned with delicious potatoes on the side; I scarfed down the whole thing mighty quickly. ALSO! I think the new love of my life is the Apple tartlet. Perfectly sweet with a healthy dose of cinnamon, sugar, and a big dollop of gelato on top. It was everything I needed to top off my already perfect meal. Drinks were great too! I got the jungle inn, a rum based concoction as well as The Ellington. Which was served in a fancy martini glass. Both were amazing. Totally great introduction to the jazz scene in DC at Jojo restaurant and bar! I'm already looking forward to where my next jazz adventure in the city takes me.

Cannot say enough about JoJo...the music, food. And intimate setting was perfect. Of corse this is Washington DC and as a result parking is always a challenge...we took and Uber. Tje place was packed (loves it elbows rooms only) which added tobthe intimacy. The service, although we did not have a reservation was accommodating. We were able to get seated after a no show. The music and crowd made us feel at home. Of in DC and your schedule permits ...this is a must stop. KEEP IN MIND THE PARKING AND NEES FOR RESERVATION.

One of my top 5 DC spots for both food and entertainment! Food is excellent. Ambiance is always a chill with a grown & sexy vibe. We've been coming here for over a decade now and this place never disappoints!

Great good! We both had the lamb chops. Portions were very generous. Wine pours were awesome. Band was awesome. I'd give them a 5 but we made a reservation and then when we got there we were told there were no tables downstairs. We had to sit at the bar. You should save tables and honor reservations!

Food was delicious but the live music made the night! I got the Cajun chicken penne pasta and my friend got the shrimp scampi, both were delicious and pasta was cooked perfectly. The live band was great but we sat upstairs and only came down to sit for an awhile after our meal and the place had cleared out a little. It gets packed so you need to make a reservation!

Wednesday night live jazz was an absolute VIBE! Tedd Baker Trio played beautifully, and the creole seafood pasta was top notch. Our server was attentive and kindly accommodated all of our requests. Highly recommend this cozy spot!!!

Ambiance: the restaurant is beautiful but note that martini hour takes place in a small bar area with limited seats. Nonetheless, you can grab a few friends and make this a moment as you enjoy those perfect martini selections. Bites: there weren't much to eat at martini hour so we moved to the general area afterwards to enjoy some food. Service: the staff was amazing and very accommodating. Shoutout to Nesto, the best bartender around! Martinis: Morini Martini: I absolutely love this drink. It was crisp, refreshing, and had a little bold flavors from the white pepper. I absolutely loved this drink and would get it again Sicilian Martini: another fav! Think summer time refreshing with a hint of sweet and citrus burst from the mandarin and lemon Espresso Martini: this drink was another great selection. Freshly brewed and perfectly prepared. I loved it Least favorite: Cala Rossa. I only disliked the drink because it was very sugary and I don't really enjoy sugary drinks. Food: Rigatoni: this dish was divine! And quick note, the smaller plates were perfect serving sizes. But back to the dish. The pasta was cooked al dente and the lamb ragu was soooooooooooooo good! No seriously, it was absolutely divine. Perfectly seasoned and rich in flavors. Other members of my party enjoyed their dishes: Cappelletti and Paccheri Alla Norma, both were described as absolutely perfect. Highlights were definitely the shrimp scampi with focaccia and fries, with the goat cheese on bread as a close third. A little pricy for the portions but honestly impressed with the variety of flavors and quality of the food. Service was ok, food came out a little slower than expected. I had really hoped to pick up some pastries (miss those baked joint cupcakes!) but seems like they don't sell them in evening. I'll have to come back for brunch/lunch to get some!

We got some beef and pork mandu (dumplings) that were pretty good. 6 pieces for $10 on HH. We got two entrees, the Ddukbokgi ($28) and Yukgaejang ($29), which came with four banchan. Ddukbokgi is chewy rice cakes, gochujang, onion, and bulgogi. We thought it was only ok -- we've had better, including at Mandu in the past. Yukgaejang was a new dish for me. The menu described it as a "spicy beef stew, brisket, noodles, shiitake, bean sprouts, and egg." I expected the brisket to be sliced and recognizably brisket, but it was pulled -- it looked and tasted more like pulled pork. The dish also didn't have any noodles in it. I didn't like it. The banchan was seaweed, bean sprouts, kimchi, and cucumbers. It was okay. Service at the bar was fine.

I won't deny that I wasn't a fan of either of the mixed cocktails I had, with both (including strangely a smoky drink) being too sweet.
