Date of Visit: Aug. 2, 2025 If anyone is following me this is another stop on my road trip. After having a great breakfast I took a stroll down the Washington Street Mall. There's just about everything on this strip. I did a bit of shopping and as I was walking I noticed this pizza joint and told my self I may have to get a slice. It was still early in the day so I didn't stop. Actually I was looking for a good spot to get a burger. I did not find any that sparked my interest. Took my shopping treasures to my motel room and headed back, it was lunch time now. As I entered I wasn't sure about the place but I was here. I looked over the selections of slices and decided on the ham and pineapple. Wish they had Jalapeno and pineapple but they didn't, oh well. As I read from other Yelper reviews, the slices weren't really heated up as much as I liked. The cheese was not melted and the crust not crispy (see pics). Again if your following me I did stop at the another pizza joint in town the day before, glad I did. I really didn't get to converse with the staff like others have noted so I can't comment on the niceness. Just that they could have left the slices in the oven a bit longer. I wasn't in a hurry maybe they were...and as the day went on the pizza sat in my gut as a reminder. All in all, if your in a hurry and in the area give it a try. PROs - lots of options , quality was good, good service CONs- parking Was in Washington street mall and was looking for a place for lunch - for kids and for us .. lucky to spot JOJOs pizza .. . Of course we thought it was just a pizzarea ... but they had much more than that . Pizza was good. It was big and nicely done . Very good service . Was quick and we got food really fast . They also had so many other things . We ordered felafel wrap .. and another veggie wrap. Felafel wrap was my favorite . Was really good. We also had milk shakes and drinks . Mostly good . I would never come here again if the food was free, I have been coming here for quite a while and I walked in last week and the chef was so nasty so rude that I will never buy food again and it's not even good. I got a tuna sub and the tuna was so disgusting and it was kind of just thrown in there. It was the messiest sandwich. They forgot my seasoning on it and it was a $14 sandwich. Pizza was good. Crust/bread was super crunchy and good. The white pizza hit the spot. Didn't try anything else and glad I didn't based on reviews and pictures. Honestly I respect the owners hustle. Everything was closed here except his shop and he was opened. I got an amazing and thick strawberry smoothie- decent price compared to other smoothies from other shops. It was delicious, it was made on the spot too. Decent pizza. Lots of by the slice choices. My first ever chicken Ceasar Salad pizza. Some slices were nice and thin NYC style. Others were thicker. Conveniently located right on the main strip of shops in Cape May. The service very nice there aren't any bathrooms in the restaurant, but there is a public bathroom about block and a half away. Jojo pizza is not bad but not at the 'best pizza level' that we all look for at the Jersey shore. It's no Mack's pizza (famous Jersey shore pizza) at all, but better than a pizza chain or something frozen. My main beef was with the cheese and that it was too much. Half of it was hanging off the plate. The crust and sauce was fine. The pizza is standard and a good grab and go since there are benches outside, prime spot to people watch or be outside, parking nearby and open for pickup during Covid-19. read more

Ordered food here on Christmas Eve! First thank you for being open and very friendly. Ordered a bunch of stuff White Pizza, asked for no garlic. I can't tell you how many times other places have screwed this up. These guys got it RIGHT!!! And the pizza was delicious. Chicken cutlet sandwich was awesome, my sons chicken fingers were great. Caesar salad was fine, I know the croutons weren't homemade but they were addictive. Overall great experience, and they were very nice. Thank you! read more

Guys were on point, the pizza was... not bad. Crust was great, actually but there wasn't much flavor to the sauce or cheese. 2nd time I went I got a margherita slice which was def better. Still, good place to pop in for a coupla slices after strolling around Washington Street. read more

Very casual, but small inside, only seats about 12-15 people. Great location on the Washington Street Mall. Prices are steep for some items, but it's Cape May. I expect it. Would go here again in a pinch, but wouldn't come just for this. read more

Great place to stop in for a good slice of pizza. The owner is always friendly and hospitable.

Probably 3 1/2 stars...rounded up a bit. Grabbed a couple of slices to eat after listening to a summer concert at the gazebo. Convenient location in Washington street mall and friendly staff. We were quickly served. Bf got the pepperoni and sausage. I got the cheese. Nice crispy reheat was the best part, otherwise good pizza. Nothing amazing but a fast solid option. read more

This is really unfortunate to have to leave this review but LITTLE things matter when your customers aren't being charged fairly. The advertised price for cheese fries is 7.95. When rang up, it comes to 9.93 When I step back and look at the menu to be sure I'm told, before I even question the price "that's the old menu". I understand price changes but $2 more for the amount of fries I got, and the processed 2 tablespoons of "cheese food" mush is unacceptable. Just change the menu! So annoyed :-( read more

Staying in a hotel nearby and decided it would be easier to order in. Sadly I have to agree with most of these reviews, the food wasn't great. I had a gluten free chicken wrap that tasted like it was microwaved frozen Tyson chicken you can get at the grocery store. The lettuce tomato and onion at least were fresh. My grandmother had a cheeseburger which she didn't particularly enjoy either. The rest of my family said the pizza was fine. We were also disappointed that we weren't given any utensils, napkins , paper plates, or ketchup for our fries. read more

Stopped in for a slice of pepperoni and sausage. It tasted like hot garbage. The cheese tasted fake, the reheating process was insufficient so it was lukewarm and gross. All for $5. Went here today and had a slice that had pesto, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, tomatoes, olive oil and garlic. Hands down, best pizza I have ever had. That had a nice variety of slices which was good. The owner is super nice too. Will definitely go back! read more

I visited recently during off season when we couldn't find much else open. I picked up a few slices to bring back to the hotel. When I arrived ten min later to give to my family the slices were cold- never warmed up enough to begin with and my husband and I threw ours away. They looked like they had been sitting out for days. I actually felt guilty letting the kids eat theirs. I appreciate that they were not getting much foot traffic so slices sat but this is the first time I ever threw food away it was so bad. Maybe try for a fresh pie or during a busier time when slices are moving fast. read more

Friendly service is what keeps this from being a one-star review. Unfortunately, the pizzas, calzones and turnovers are left out for hours on end, which is apparent both in the lukewarm and unappealing slices, and then hours later when your stomach begins to turn inside out. Food overall was greasy and the garlic knots were as tough as hockey pucks. I'm sorry if the tone of this review is harsh but it's important to share an accurate account of my experience at this establishment. What a nice surprise to find an authentic Italian pizza oven serving in the midst of Washington Street Mall in Cape May. If you are tired of trying to reserve a table for dinner or waiting in line just a get seating to pay for expensive dinner, you may want to try Jojo's stromboli, pizza or even Italian ice. They cook them in pizza oven for you so the crust comes out hot and crispy. No wonder it looks like this place has been around for years from the outside. read more

This place was terrible with an even worse staff. The girl on the register was miserable and the chef was even ruder. We waited 40 minutes for mozzarella sticks and chicken fingers and when we went up to ask how much longer the owner yelled at us telling us to wait because we have only been here for 10 mins. My friends and I came in after visiting Cape May for the day. We ordered the pesto mozzarella pizza which was made to order hot and delicious! The crust is nice and soft if you're into that. Dropped by during the Halloween parade for a quick togo slice of pizza. They didn't have many tempting options to choose from. Didn't see any prices for the slices of pizza either. The pesto pizza looked the least threatening which set me back $4.55. Nothing spectacular and pretty bland. Pretty pricey for a single slice since the other pizza place was selling two slices for $4.99. Silly me should of went for that deal instead. Sigh...First time, last time. Lesson learned. read more

Once only selling pizza (which was a genius idea right next to the bar scene), now with a full menu, music, and drinks! We always have a great time here and the customer service is always top notch.
