    Hawaiian pizza
    Bob A.

The pizzas are good. The cheese steaks are very good. The only reason I'm giving them a one star is that they charge 3% extra anytime you use a credit card. So when you look at the menu, make sure you add an extra 3% to whatever you're buying.

We got the Hawaiian pizza and loved it! Very friendly service and great prices. Definitely worth trying! 10/10 take out experience

Desperate for dinner and not wanting the snobbery of Cape May or the wait of Wildwood restaurants we were going to get something quick and bagged at Wawa. After parking we saw Cappelletti's next door. So glad we did. Had a short wait for a place to sit. Ordered 3 huge slices and 3 drinks. Service was just ok. Everyone working seemed a little preoccupied except the kid spinning the pizza dough and manning the oven. Love, peace and pizza grease is all I have to say. This was probably some of the best pizza I have ever had. Just a smear of sauce, like I like it. Good amount of gooey, greasy cheese. Cappy's is our go to for pizza now. Driving over the bridge from Wildwood for it!

Delicious pizza!! Fast and friendly service and the perfect take out meal! We got the Hawaiian pizza and would highly recommend :) We will be back!

Cappy's have become one of my favorite places to stop in for a meal when I'm in Cape May. I'm usually there for a breakfast sandwich. For early in the morning, the guys who work there are always in a good mood. Since I get up early in the morning, I don't always want breakfast at 9... At Capoy's, that's no problem. The pizzas are already in the oven and ready for whatever slice you'd like. The BBQ chicken pizza and the pepperoni and sausage slices are my usual slices that I substitute for breakfast... This pizzeria is the one place in Cape May that you will be happy that you stopped in when for a quick bite to eat. If you're lucky, the owners father will be there visiting. A 80something year old man who is a pleasure to sit and talk to for awhile.

They honored our reservation and seated us five minutes early. They started us off with two pieces of their excellent focaccia. The pesto dip was better than the chili oil. The calamari app was excellent - tender rings, chunks of pork belly, shrimp, and a spicy tomato sauce. The artichoke app comprised two long stem hearts, with stems, and a Parmigiano topping. Good but not at the level of the calamari. Next up a composed mixed green salad with generous shaved Parmigiano. Complimentary! The thick slice of halibut was on point. Moist, perfectly cooked. Not an afterthought by any means. The 20 oz. Cowboy cut rib steak was tender and perfectly seasoned but maybe a degree or two past medium rare. The side of grilled vegetables was splendid. And another freebie -- dessert for two -- butter cakes with cream and chocolate crunch. Sort of like a deconstructed tiramisu. Also delicious. Service managed to be friendly and professional. A great experience and a solid value. The ambiance was modern steakhouse. Would have preferred some jazz on the playlist, but no complaints. I would definitely return.

It's easy to get to all the shops and eateries, but you aren't right in the thick of everything, which made for a more calm and relaxing stay. The hotel has complimentary bikes, and we were able to bike to town in just a few minutes. The hotel is small and there are only a few guestrooms. We stayed on the top floor and our window had ocean views which was such a treat. I was worried about the room being hot but the AC was extremely strong. Rooms are a bit dated and the carpet really needs to be replaced. The bed is super comfy and the bathroom is more updated, but new carpet would really make the room - the current carpet is like a funky green. We had to try the restaurant since it gets such great reviews and it definitely lived up to the hype. The lobster fra diavolo was sooo good and came with so much lobster meat. Breakfast is included in the stay and was so delicious. They have a screened in porch that overlooks the ocean and there's really no better way to start off your day. Everyone that works here is friendly and helpful, and there are little cute touches like complimentary drinks and snacks, a wine and cheese hour and beach items like umbrellas and chairs. Overall this is a super cute hotel - it's classy and beautiful and the perfect backdrop for photos, and the oceanfront location is prime.

Food had some definite highs, but unfortunately, a big low. There's a lot going on in the dishes. We ordered two appetizers to start. The Tuna Tartare unfortunately was pretty bland and my wife thought a tad fishy. The Foie Gras by itself was delicious but it was drowned in a sauce that overpowered it. I wouldn't order them again, but there are lots of other options. The pasta course took a really long time to come out. We almost thought they lost the order. When the Radiatori arrived, it was worth the wait. A little spicy but delicious! Definitely recommended but pretty pricey for a small portion at $25. The entrees were delicious! My wife had the filet mignon with broccolini and delicious mashed potatoes. I had the delicious duck breast with asparagus. They were 5 star entrees and we loved them. Highly recommend both. We tried the off menu special dessert; chocolate chip banana bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. The bread pudding was terrible; perhaps the worst dessert I have ever tried - dried out and strange taste we thought. It didn't pass the audition for the menu for us.

While the…read morekitchen and bar are clearly talented, the service and management decisions completely ruined the evening. The Positives: I have to give credit where it is due as the food and drinks were genuinely great. We ordered the calamari, celery root soup, scallops, and the chicken breast. Everything came out delicious and perfectly prepared. The drinks were also a highlight specifically the pomegranate margarita and the winter sangria. The bartender clearly knows what they are doing. The Service: Absent and Unprofessional. Unfortunately, the night took a sharp turn regarding the service. Our waitress was virtually non existent. She spent the entire night chatting with another couple, barely sparing a moment for our table outside of taking the initial order. It got to the point where the bartender had to do the waitresses job. Our drinks were sitting on the bar for quite a while until the bartender finally walked them over to us, saying, "I just wanted to drop these off so they wouldn't sit out." Later, we watched the bartender go into the back and run food to the other couple, the very table our waitress was busy socializing with, telling them he, "just wanted to bring this out so it would still be hot." The bartender was acting more like a waiter than our actual server was. Sketchy Billing & Atmosphere: Things got even stranger when the check arrived. We noticed a $24 charge for a "cheeseburger"--an item that isn't even on the menu. We flagged down the waitress, and before we could even explain the issue, she immediately said, "Oh yes, you are right, there is an error, sorry about that." It was an incredibly odd reaction; she knew there was an error before we even vocalized what was wrong. To top it off, the dining room was absolutely freezing. When we asked why, the waitress claimed the heat was broken. However, upon visiting the restroom, the heat was pumping just fine. It felt deliberate--like a corner cutting measure to save money during the off-season rather than a genuine mechanical failure. Overall: Despite the food being delicious, the terrible service, the suspicious billing "error," and the uncomfortable temperature make this a place I cannot recommend. For the price point, you expect a certain level of professionalism and comfort, and Ebbitt Room failed on both counts. I will not be returning.
