    Seafood ravioli special
    Nicole T.

The food is delicious! BYOB. The seafood ravioli is a must. Service is so warm. They can absolutely improve the bread though - not great especially for an Italian restaurant. Nice for date night or family dinner out!

When you're here your family. Oh wait... But really ...it did seem like the surrounding tables knew each other. This was unique in its own right. Authentic staff as they were actually from Italy. Food: my folks and my sister liked their dishes. The veal was delicious. I must have ordered the wrong thing as my dish was simple. Before we left we got free shots of lemoncello which was a nice touch to the end of an Italian meal.

Greek salad. Tomatoes weren't the best but I'm used to organic ones. Cheese was delicious! Served with a balsamic glaze. I prefer plain vin.

The food looks great. I chatted with some guests as they left. Said she loved the lobster special and here all the time. This is an incredibly romantic restaurant in Wildwood NJ. The staff are very pleasant and the waitress looked the part wearing a Italian looking scarf, so cute. But the best thing is they are open year round and have some nice little tables right outside the window if it's not too cold. I ordered the Greek salad. I didn't realize it was everything but the romaine lettuce and they gladly gave me some. I would definitely try one of their other dishes next time.

This was a nice restaurant but it was a long weekend and we had to wait over 40 minutes to be seated even with a reservation, which I confirmed well before arriving. The service and food were great, would recommend for a more upscale dining experience in the area.

One of the best in Wildwood. I had a great family meal here on a recent trip to Wildwood. Our waitress and hostess were very friendly and it helped make for a nice dinner. There is Italian music playing in the background but it wasn't very loud, which was a nice addition to the atmosphere. The meal was excellent. We had appetizers, main courses, and desert. 5/5 on the arugula salad and calamari appetizers as well as the crème brulee and chocolate moose cake deserts. The main courses were filling but I thought my veal parmesan could have had better texture. For drinks - keep in mind this is a BYOB restaraunt, so plan accordingly. For non-alcoholic drinks - I think the soda choice could be better. I wanted a ginger ale but the closest they had was lemonade. All in all, I had a great meal here and like I said before, this is one of the best in Wildwood.

Wildwood gem. BYOB New place that will get popular quick!!! On Pacific and Taylor. Tons of street parking. Free parking at Uncle Bills back parking lot The staff was really friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. The calamari was tasty and hubby loved the expresso and chocolate cake. Veal parm was loved by hubby I wish I wrote down what I got (special). It was amazing I'll be back

First time dining and great spot for classic Italian staples. We had a group of 5 and were seated promptly. Our waiter was very attentive and enthusiastic. He was awesome! We ordered eggplant rollatini, calamari, and caeser salad. All was excellent except the rollatini - the menu said cinnamon was added to it, but it was way too much cinnamon. Definitely would not recommend. The calamari was crisp and the Caesar salad was perfect. For entree, we had a mix of chicken, pasta, and fish dishes. Everyone licked their plates clean. The ambience is a little off - I can't tell what it is. But definitely would be back.

Great food and atmosphere. Chicken parm and longhots are great.

There are several rooms to this restaurant, and it is actually located underneath a bowling alley. Talk about a hidden gem, literally! We enjoyed the live entertainment. The performer was fantastic! There was a small dance floor in front of him, and rumor has it the patrons often jump up and cut the rug. I even got a birthday serenade, table-side. So cool! If a menu offers Pasta and Crab, then you can bet your hiney I am ordering it. This place DID IT UP. Huge chunks of real crab. More crab than any other restaurant in South Jersey (really, more than any other restaurant in the entire state of New Jersey...I order this dish everywhere). The red gravy was balanced (more tart than sweet, which is what I prefer). The house salad that arrived ahead of the entrees was delicious. Creamy yet light dressing, if that even makes sense. Our party of 7 raved about everything we ordered. The garlic bread was even insanely delicious. There are so many restaurants in the area, but THIS is one we will return to time and time again. We were in the area one week later and ordered some pasta and crab to-go. It traveled back to Voorhees beautifully. Thanks for making my celebration so special, Alfe's!

Yet another birthday celebration! All these "summer babies!"…read more What a wonderful spot our friends recommended and met us at! I loved the red décor and photos all around of Joey P. and customers / celebrities that have dined there. Our friends valeted but we parked a street up. The pay by app made it very easy and I actually already had it downloaded. Since tomorrow will be my splurge day, tonight was just a Caesar salad with added shrimp. THIS SALAD WAS HUGE and had a plentiful amount of shrimp in it for sure! I ate almost the whole thing! It, along with the pastina soup, was well enough for me! All others had pasta and / or chicken dishes; huge portions! Everyone loved what they ordered : ) We were literally entertained the whole time by a really good duo - JUST IN TIME ~ a married couple named Joanne and Stu. They played music genres ranging from 50s - on. Joanne even sang Karen Carpenter, who is hard to sing. She did her proud! Great entertainment that even welcomed diners to come up and belt out a few! Many were dancing / line dancing! So fun! Our server, Trisha, was peppy and attentive. She handled a very crowded restaurant beautifully. We weren't rushed at all - our evening was an experience more than just a meal. Im stupefied at the under four star reviews - truly.

We've also followed Joey for years, all the way back to his legendary infomercials. This was our first visit during the holiday season, and somehow it was just as great as summer, just in a different way... more intimate, more local, and still packed with energy. The food never misses. I had the Chicken Parm Fra Diavolo, and it was hands-down the best and spiciest version I've ever had. This thing is spicy! Equally a draw is the entertainment. Watching Joey take the stage with Tommy Cono (Tommy C) is what sets this place apart. Tommy is incredibly talented with the classics from the 50s, 60s, and beyond, and when Joey jumps in with Tommy, the whole room comes alive. It stops being a restaurant and turns into a full experience. Awesome food, live entertainment, and that true local feeling - this Joey M's feels like one big Italian family party in all the best ways. We'll keep coming back - summer, holidays, and everything in between.

However, it was not much better inside. It was quite warm. They started us with some bread and garlic infused oil. The bread was soft and the oil was very good and flavorful. We ordered the 'Bruschetta' which was VERY definitely my highlight. I wish it had more cheese on it, but the tomatoes were super fresh and the balsamic was delicious. For our entrees, my husband got the 'Diavolo' pizza which was homemade tomato sauce, hot soppressata, homemade mozzarella, chopped garlic, oregano & parmesan cheese. He loved it. He said the bread was soft and it was super cheesy. I did not try it, nor did I order pizza because I just had some a few days ago. I ordered the 'Three Mushroom Pasta' which was shiitaki, cremini & portobello mushrooms sautéed with garlic butter & marsala wine sauce topped with parmesan cheese served over pappardelle pasta. The mushrooms were delicious. However, the pasta itself was rather bland. I will say the portion was BIG and I definitely had left overs. The staff was quick and friendly. I probably would not come back again but it was nice to try, and I'm sure the pizza was better than boardwalk pizza. I would give this a 3.5, but since I can't do halfs.. 3 it is.
