This was a nice restaurant but it was a long weekend and we had to wait over 40 minutes to be seated even with a reservation, which I confirmed well before arriving. The service and food were great, would recommend for a more upscale dining experience in the area.

One of the best in Wildwood. I had a great family meal here on a recent trip to Wildwood. Our waitress and hostess were very friendly and it helped make for a nice dinner. There is Italian music playing in the background but it wasn't very loud, which was a nice addition to the atmosphere. The meal was excellent. We had appetizers, main courses, and desert. 5/5 on the arugula salad and calamari appetizers as well as the crème brulee and chocolate moose cake deserts. The main courses were filling but I thought my veal parmesan could have had better texture. For drinks - keep in mind this is a BYOB restaraunt, so plan accordingly. For non-alcoholic drinks - I think the soda choice could be better. I wanted a ginger ale but the closest they had was lemonade. All in all, I had a great meal here and like I said before, this is one of the best in Wildwood.

Great food and atmosphere. Chicken parm and longhots are great.

Great food and atmosphere! Great service, chicken parm and longhots are great! It is byob so bring your favorite bottle of vino !

First time dining and great spot for classic Italian staples. We had a group of 5 and were seated promptly. Our waiter was very attentive and enthusiastic. He was awesome! We ordered eggplant rollatini, calamari, and caeser salad. All was excellent except the rollatini - the menu said cinnamon was added to it, but it was way too much cinnamon. Definitely would not recommend. The calamari was crisp and the Caesar salad was perfect. For entree, we had a mix of chicken, pasta, and fish dishes. Everyone licked their plates clean. The ambience is a little off - I can't tell what it is. But definitely would be back.

Wildwood gem. BYOB New place that will get popular quick!!! On Pacific and Taylor. Tons of street parking. Free parking at Uncle Bills back parking lot The staff was really friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. The calamari was tasty and hubby loved the expresso and chocolate cake. Veal parm was loved by hubby I wish I wrote down what I got (special). It was amazing I'll be back

We are so happy to have a new restaurant in our rotation this summer. Venezia's seafood and pasta are so delicious and fresh. We had a reservation and it seemed to be the last vacant table in the place. The dining room was buzzing and filled with happy groups. A few perks of Venezia is that it's a little on the nicer side so there were no fussy children around us distracting us from our meal! There are plenty of other places in WW for a family friendly experience and I like taking a break from that once in a while. Also, it's BYO! Bring your own is always a perk for us since we usually enjoy a bottle or two with dinner down the shore. My family returned twice already this summer and the season isn't quite over yet, we will be back!

The decor inside has a lot of personality, it's like an Italian market and has nice music playing throughout the entire restaurant. We ordered the Clams Casino for appetizer and it was so delicious. It was crispy and savory; the perfect way to start the meal. I think it was my favorite dish we had. We also really liked the anchovies with the garlic sauce. Both had a strong flavor that really went well together. Our next visit, we came during the early bird special which is a great value by the way. Our server explained what comes in the early bird along with their other specials which was the Prime Rib that night (we didn't get that, but I saw it at another table, it looked mouthwatering good!). Two dishes stood out to me on our second visit: the Chicken Marsala and the Cannoli. The chicken marsala came in a very good portion, the chicken was cooked perfectly (soft and tender) with a very savory sauce. The cannoli which was complimentary with the early bird is shockingly one of the better cannolis I have had. Pretty much everything we got from Little Italy tasted great. The only dud for me is their salad. I'm personally not a fan of the complimentary salad unfortunately. I think the dressing is a little too strong but I seem to be in the minority reading the other reviews. Other than that, everything else is amazing. Even their complimentary bread/butter is good.

Went for an early bird dinner, early birds are $20.00. Not bad including a cannoli. We got the…read morechicken Marsala and hubby got the sweetheart deal. Both very good. My sister got the stuffed shells (3) she said were very good.

Been meaning to post this review from December 2025. We've been coming to Joey M's La Piazza Cucina…read moreevery summer since 2023, and it's become a must do Wildwood tradition for us. We've also followed Joey for years, all the way back to his legendary infomercials. This was our first visit during the holiday season, and somehow it was just as great as summer, just in a different way... more intimate, more local, and still packed with energy. The food never misses. I had the Chicken Parm Fra Diavolo, and it was hands-down the best and spiciest version I've ever had. This thing is spicy! Equally a draw is the entertainment. Watching Joey take the stage with Tommy Cono (Tommy C) is what sets this place apart. Tommy is incredibly talented with the classics from the 50s, 60s, and beyond, and when Joey jumps in with Tommy, the whole room comes alive. It stops being a restaurant and turns into a full experience. Awesome food, live entertainment, and that true local feeling - this Joey M's feels like one big Italian family party in all the best ways. We'll keep coming back - summer, holidays, and everything in between.

I recently tried the penne alla vodka at Joey M's La Piazza Cucina, and it was a pleasant surprise…read more The pasta was cooked to a perfect al dente, and the sauce had a creamy, balanced flavor with just the right touch of vodka and a hint of sweetness from the tomatoes. It wasn't overly heavy, which made it easy to enjoy without feeling weighed down. The portion size was generous, and the dish came out hot--always a good sign in a busy Italian spot. The vodka sauce clung nicely to the penne, giving each bite a rich, savory taste. I appreciated that it didn't taste like a jarred sauce; it had that homemade feel Joey M's is known for. The chicken cutlet wasn't greasy. It was very tender and seasoned well. The decor is dated but you'll look past that once you taste the food!

I have never been disappointed in anything I've ever ordered from here. This is a great place to get lunch, especially because their lunch specials are a very good value. The service here is incredibly quick, I've always been able to eat here and get back to work within an hour. I have to really give them props for their salads. For some reason, it is very hard to find a good salad in this area and theirs are delicious. The pizzas are a good size too, even the personal sized ones. Poppi's is a great lunch ant dinner spot and I would highly recommend it.

However, it was not much better inside. It was quite warm. They started us with some bread and garlic infused oil. The bread was soft and the oil was very good and flavorful. We ordered the 'Bruschetta' which was VERY definitely my highlight. I wish it had more cheese on it, but the tomatoes were super fresh and the balsamic was delicious. For our entrees, my husband got the 'Diavolo' pizza which was homemade tomato sauce, hot soppressata, homemade mozzarella, chopped garlic, oregano & parmesan cheese. He loved it. He said the bread was soft and it was super cheesy. I did not try it, nor did I order pizza because I just had some a few days ago. I ordered the 'Three Mushroom Pasta' which was shiitaki, cremini & portobello mushrooms sautéed with garlic butter & marsala wine sauce topped with parmesan cheese served over pappardelle pasta. The mushrooms were delicious. However, the pasta itself was rather bland. I will say the portion was BIG and I definitely had left overs. The staff was quick and friendly. I probably would not come back again but it was nice to try, and I'm sure the pizza was better than boardwalk pizza. I would give this a 3.5, but since I can't do halfs.. 3 it is.

The chowder was a nice thick hearty soup. The polenta was delightful- with a light and creamy corn flavor. The linguini was a very light and airy pasta. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly medium and was so tender. The risotto and spinach went really well with the steak too. The veal was lightly breaded and melted right in my mouth. The limoncello tasted lemony and sweet, smooth and refreshing with a prominent aroma of lemon. The yellow dessert looked and tasted like a ray of sunshine. The ice box parfait was a refreshing end to my meal. As you can probably tell, we thoroughly enjoyed the entire dinner. The place was packed when we visited. Service was a tad slow but our server Faith did great. The meal more than made up for the slightly slow service. The portion sizes were generous too, we had to box one of the entrees to go. This definitely one of the better restaurant week deals, I would definitely recommend it and this place in general.
