Date of Visit: Aug. 2, 2025…read more If anyone is following me this is another stop on my road trip. After having a great breakfast I took a stroll down the Washington Street Mall. There's just about everything on this strip. I did a bit of shopping and as I was walking I noticed this pizza joint and told my self I may have to get a slice. It was still early in the day so I didn't stop. Actually I was looking for a good spot to get a burger. I did not find any that sparked my interest. Took my shopping treasures to my motel room and headed back, it was lunch time now. As I entered I wasn't sure about the place but I was here. I looked over the selections of slices and decided on the ham and pineapple. Wish they had Jalapeno and pineapple but they didn't, oh well. As I read from other Yelper reviews, the slices weren't really heated up as much as I liked. The cheese was not melted and the crust not crispy (see pics). Again if your following me I did stop at the another pizza joint in town the day before, glad I did. I really didn't get to converse with the staff like others have noted so I can't comment on the niceness. Just that they could have left the slices in the oven a bit longer. I wasn't in a hurry maybe they were...and as the day went on the pizza sat in my gut as a reminder. All in all, if your in a hurry and in the area give it a try. But if your not there is another option. Peace.

Date of Visit: August 1, 2025…read more This was my first stop when I got to Cape May and I wasn't disappointed. And I have to agree with Eddie 9, I checked the reviews and the ones that gave it a bad review must have got on YELP! just for that reason, they only have one review to their name. So sad. While taking a walk-a-bout I came upon this place and it is just across from the beach, great location. I did walk by first then stopped and looked in the window and saw their pizza by the slice selection. Had to go in. As I entered I could tell this was a top notch place. I checked out the line-up and decided on a square slice, don't see that too often in Florida. I got one with pepperoni and because of the size I only had one, perfect. With the thin slices I usually get two. One was enough. This must be the local favorite pizza joint cause after I ordered, it started to fill up. After receiving my slice, nice and hot, I could tell they use quality cheese and sauce. All melted nicely. Oh, after the first bite I was right. And as far as the price, no different than any other place. Next time I come thru this way I will make it a point to stop in again. Peace.

The odyssey to finding it was well worth the effort. We had dinner reservations but on a Monday in May, probably did not need them. We both loved our flounder almondine order, despite it being a Monday night (when one does not typically order fish and expect it to be fresh). This really was! Service was top-notch and super-friendly from Jared, who was deeply apologetic when the oyster appetizer we ordered failed to appear - he comped a beer without prompting (and insisted upon it). Even absent this gesture, his attitude and manner made our evening - the excellence of the entrees was a cherry on top. One note and not the fault of the restaurant at all - a number of families with small children were dining at other tables. This is not an especially well-suited restaurant for families with under-5 kids. Their collective noise and behavior was more akin to, well, a Chuck-E-Cheese or MacDonalds. There was nothing anyone could do, of course.

Dear Yelp, Made…read morereservations here a week before our stay. Arrived about 6 minutes before our reservation time and had to wait. Hostess seemed frazzled. Asked us if we minded sitting on the inside deck. We did mind and were then show to a table inside the restaurant. (If we had our kids with us, then I would have not minded eating on the deck). The table was an awesome tucked away corner table that faced the inner dining room. The decor and experience were top notch. I'm glad I said no to eating outside. The room is absolutely beautiful if you are into vintage looks. I said it looked like Gaston's Tavern. Food and waitress service was good. My sister had the short ribs and they were tasty. I had a burger well done (and it was!) with both fries and a side salad. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and felt it was a good value for the cost. Love, Nicole
